Onestep, goodness! Total headfuck! I hope you get some good answer tomorrow. We're all willing you on.

Brummie good! Grin

OneStep2015 · 15/06/2015 22:55

Thank thank thank you all lovely ladies. Currently sitting here on the bed with hubby thrashing out dates and symptoms and sending artwork to the project manager should the next few days turn pear shaped.

Yes under the RMC there and spoke to Tori after mc2. They are so understanding and lovely there. We are in Aylesbury, so it's a bit of a drive over there.

There's not a hope of sleep tonight, and I've been sleeping like a baby recently, all unusual for me. Thanks again for your amazing support, info and personal experiences. Xxx

MrsConfusion · 15/06/2015 23:01

onestep I did a spreadsheet to try to work out chronology Blush such a geek! If you can't sleep, put on a film and snuggle under duvet together.

OneStep2015 · 15/06/2015 23:07

Thanks Mrs Confusion, in bed, telly on, holding hands with hubby. Xx

inamaymaybewrong · 15/06/2015 23:50

I've not managed to fully catch-up with the thread but want to say sorry to March. I hope you get some answers for the future.

Congratulations onestep and I hope you manage some sleep.

Day 4 of the miscarriage here. Despite my private scan on Saturday showing everything had completed, I have had sharp cramps on and off all day, different to the strong but duller / constant contraction type ones that happened earlier on.

DH and I spent today and yesterday just enjoying time with our son. I had a long, and much needed afternoon nap too. I also went to the GP today. She's given me more metformin, one round of Clomid, has agreed to run initial blood tests (thyroid, blood clotting and something else?) and has referred me to the RMC despite me having had two, not three miscarriages, due to our IVF/infertility history. I feel so relieved that I didn't have to fight for those.

Tomorrow I have an appt at the EPU for another scan and probably bloods to check hcg is falling.

DH and I are also going to bury the fetal remains in the soil of a new garden plant we bought today, which we'll keep in a pot so it can move with us if necessary. I plan to write a letter to my two lost babies to bury with it too.

I've decided to take the whole week off work as I need the space to recover a bit.

OneStep2015 · 15/06/2015 23:52

MrsConfusion, can I have the number you have on speed dial pls. Thanks xx

OneStep2015 · 15/06/2015 23:54

May, I planted 2 rose bushes in our garden to remember my first 2 mc's. We will take them with us when we move to our new house round the corner. Hugs and thinking of you. Xx

inamaymaybewrong · 15/06/2015 23:57

Sasha - just read what you wrote about a link between eczema and NK cells.... Interesting. I have eczema, as do my mum and sister, who also had 1+ miscarriages each. My mum also has a range of rare immune system disorders. You've got me thinking.

Catlover2014 · 16/06/2015 01:47

Been catching up on thread and want to send a hug to you March. I'm so sorry this pregnancy didn't work out and that you've had to go through this. We're all here for you 100%. Hope DH is looking after you, be sure to take some time out from work and the rat race for you. Flowers

Catlover2014 · 16/06/2015 02:00

Also hugs to May for all you're going through. Hope you're being looked after and the pain isn't too bad. Mc is so unfair and heartbreaking Sad xxxxxx

Kazz2112 · 16/06/2015 06:19

Just been lurking on here trying to keep up!

Barking it's interesting what you say about teachers. How many teachers are on here? I'm a secondary science teacher. 11-16. And am probably having the most stressful 18 months of my teaching career so far. Coincidence?

Congratulations one step. Finger crossing fir you that today shows all is well and your period was just a complete unexplainable anomaly and there's a healthy sticky bean in there!

Sorry to every one with the bad crap going on. As if all the mc crap isn't enough to deal with. Xxx

Minnie74 · 16/06/2015 06:40

So 10dpo, absolutely no line. Am stopping the prog and letting af get on with it. Thinking about stopping altogether to be honest. Am realising I can't face months and months of blank tests again (and I haven't got the time for that either)

onestep hope you've managed o get some sleep x

may that sounds like a lovely thing to do to remember x

bootles · 16/06/2015 06:49

march glad you have a break coming up, sounds just what you need. Did you hear back from coventry?

mrsd woo hoo!!! Wonderful news!! I am so pleased for you.

onestep gosh we have had a fair few headfuck confusing bfp's on here recently. Crossing everything that things are ok and hand holding for going to epu to find out what is going on.

brummie glad the nausea has returned but sorry you are feeling so awful. Mine has too, even through the pred.

This conversation about stress and IBS is interesting - I suspect it's all very complex and not necessarily a straightforward linear link, but I have had the most stressful last few years and am constantly sleep deprived and can't help but think it has affected me badly.

bootles · 16/06/2015 06:53

Sorry may...I meant to mention you too. Sorry you are still getting cramps. My natural ones involved cramping for several days so I think it's normal, but if it gets worse maybe go and get checked again, since you know everything has completed. The idea of your burial and letters has brought tears to my eyes, what a lovely thing to do and I hope it brings you some comfort.

bootles · 16/06/2015 06:54

minnie sorry about the bfn. Are you under coventry? They would probably support you taking progesterone from bfp?

OneStep2015 · 16/06/2015 06:56

Thanks all, managed a few hours, read book until 02:30, woke at 04:30. In car now on the way to JR EPAU in the hope of getting somebody to see me. Xx

sebsmummy1 · 16/06/2015 07:06

good luck onestep. I hope they scan you and it's good news xxx

So sorry Minnie I know that feeling of utter frustration very well and you know I always advocate throwing the opks away and just having done spontaneous sex mid cycle. Don't rule out a late positive though, they do happen as Brummie proved. Hand holding xx

MrsConfusion · 16/06/2015 07:17

Hugs onestep have sent the number. Fx you can see someone for reassurance. I'll be thinking of you all day (from just down the hill...) x

may sorry for the cramping, I hope the physical part is over for you soon. Lovely idea about planting roses for your little ones.

minnie sorry for the bfn but it could still be too early if implantation, I would give it a couple more days before stopping progesterone. You could try prog from BFP next time as bootles says.
onestep hope your time at epu is positive, got my fingers crossed.

Done a test this morning and think I have a BFP!!! Although DH keeps saying 'it's a bit faint though', tut, when will he learn, a line is a line!

cloudjumper · 16/06/2015 07:32

Cheesy, yay! Whispering congratulations, may this be your sticky bean Flowers

Greetings from France everybody xx

twilightstruggle · 16/06/2015 07:34

Yay - cheesy - great news. Whispered congrats. You're right - a line is a line!

March - hugs to you.

Sasha - thanks for the info. I've been meaning to buy that book for ages and you've got me to finally actually do it. I'm another with a fair few immune issues.

Onestep - gosh what a big shock. Not surprised you were reeling. No practical advice or experiences to offer. Hope today pans out well and you're well looked after.

Seb - I'm really glad your numbers are looking so positive. TYAP

bootles · 16/06/2015 07:35

cheesy ! Great news! They never learn...I don't show lines to dp anymore, I just tell him. Everything crossed this is your one.

bootles · 16/06/2015 07:36

Yep that's a clear line cheesy...
