Have missed about a week of this thread and given up trying to catch up. So very sorry to hear bad news though Sun and Counting. The last couple of pages sum up the cycle of hope(OV), anxiety(2WW), elation (BFP) and despair, and people who have not experienced recurrent miscarriage will never really know what that's like.

Jady77 · 02/04/2015 23:54

Hi all, just a little bit behind from house moving shenanigans and no internet, but just popping in to say yes March was at Coventry today (well remembered). Went well, saw Prof Quenby, she said I fit in perfectly with their research getting pregnant easily, but losing early on. Progesterone prescribed. Was def very ouchie having the biopsy, but drove myself home fine. Absolutely knackered, but will try and catch up properly over the weekend. Also saw consultant Monday who was as patronising as ever and discharged me. Blood clotting test results were negative though (although thought they were meant to be done twice 6 weeks apart??).

Passing out now zzzzzzzzz

bootles · 02/04/2015 23:57

counting glad to hear you are home and well cared for. It sounds like there is further support medically which is reassuring. We are still here for you too x

Oh sun, so so sorry to hear that. Feeling lost and hopeless is a very hard place to be. It's all so crap. Really sorry. When are you going away? As I recall you are going to China, so a long flight..if you are bleeding really heavily I reckon get checked before getting on a plane. Sorry, I don't mean to sound patronising and I know your head must be everywhere right now. Take care, and remember we are here to lean on x

bootles · 02/04/2015 23:58

bythesea that's fab news! Wow..how are you feeling?

girliesaints · 03/04/2015 06:11

Sun, sorry to hear the news. Big hugs x

jassS · 03/04/2015 06:59

Counting, it is good to have some hope thrown at you to help you through the darkest moments.....

Sun, some people never test high on clearblue, but honestly 1-2 is clearly in the range of below 500, so in case clearblue is right and things are not looking good and this will be a mc - there will be not much "material" yet to come out, so can be just like a heavy late period. Sorry if that is too much thinking on the careful side, but I would think when needing to travel in this situation at least you do not have to worry too much about what ifs....

I had a second d&c yesterday for managing retained products. Hope now all is good finally...I was right about strong pos hpts showing there must be something left.

Marchgirl · 03/04/2015 06:59

Oh sun. So so sorry to hear that. This is utterly shit. I'm not surprised you feel a bit lost. I'm glad you have a holiday to hopefully take your mind off things, although I'm sure the practicalities of the flight at the moment will be tough. Massive hugs to you. Xxx Flowers

barkingtreefrog · 03/04/2015 07:05

sun I am so, so sorry Thanks . I hope the physical bit is over as quickly as possible and won't affect your holiday.

counting glad you are being looked after medically and at home, mist be a relief to know you will finally see someone who might be useful.

jady I thought the retest was only if they found a clotting issue with the first test, to confirm if it's still there and not just a temporary thing?

I'm off camping for three days and am unlikely to have reception so I'll see you lovely ladies later Smile . You'll probably need tracking down on a new thread by then!! Leave me a trail of breadcrumbs!! Grin I am going to leave all sticks at home so it won't be possible for me to test until Monday morning.....

Marchgirl · 03/04/2015 07:06

Glad you got on ok at Coventry jady. Sorry your rmc appt was a bit crap. I think for general nhs testing the clotting ones are only redone if they get a positive result. St Marys do a more comprehensive clotting test, several times i believe, but not normally at nhs rmc as far as I'm aware. Glad you've got the progesterone anyway. Will you get heparin from location scan as well?

Sorry you had to have another d&c jass Sad really hope that's it now and you can start to fully recover

Marchgirl · 03/04/2015 07:09

Arrrgh! You're so patient barking! Keeping everything crossed for you to get your bfp when you get back. Have a great trip

Justonemoretime · 03/04/2015 07:10

So sorry to hear this Sun Sad hugs.

Well, I'm back in hospital with more bleeding. Baby fine, I'm cannulated and being monitored. Think I'll be here a couple of days again.

Marchgirl · 03/04/2015 07:16

Sorry to hear that just. So much for your 'back to normal'. That must be very worrying. Really hope you do get back to normal soon x

Daisybell1 · 03/04/2015 07:18

Sun and Counting I'm so sorry to hear your news. I hope you have someone to take care of you. And the same to you Jass , I hope you are ok.

Pop my diagnosis was unexpected - St Marys scheduled the hysteroscopy as they didn't know what else to do (all other tests clear, all pgs tested had normal chromosomes too). I think they were as surprised as I was that they found something.

So they've cut away the adhesions and put in 2 mereina? coils and have prescribed a month of HRT to help rebuild the lining without the scarring reforming.

They told me a couple of days off work was sufficient but with the easter break I've got 10 days and 2 would not have been enough! I am a wuss for all things in this department (needed gas and air at Coventry Blush) and still have pain, dizziness, and feel generally squeamish about the whole thing.

I'm waiting for another appointment in a month to take the coils out but I don't know how they tell if it's worked or not - were you diagnosed through a scan?

Sorry for rattling on!

bakingtins · 03/04/2015 07:34

Hugs for counting jass and daisy

just sorry you are bleeding again and you'll miss your wedding. as long as you and babyjust are ok, that's the main thing.

sun I'm so sorry it's not worked out Sad that's really crap. Is the China trip business or a holiday? Are you ok with still travelling?

Sunandrainbow · 03/04/2015 07:43

Thank you so much for all the support ladies. China is a holiday - booked as a treat to ourselves after all the shit of the last 18 months Sad.

So far the bleeding has been pretty period like, although crampier. We don't fly till tonight though so will monitor during the day and see out of hours if we need to, although am hopeful it will be fine.

just - so sorry to hear you are back in hospital. Glad baby is fine though. Definitely feet up and a good box set for you though.

Just want to say again thank you all for your support over the months. It means so much to have a group of amazing ladies who really understand just how shit this journey is. x

Justonemoretime · 03/04/2015 07:44

Thanks. Better here and now than during the wedding and miles from home... that would be memorable for all the wrong reasons! Got to let them know today, which will mess up the table seating plans...

Justonemoretime · 03/04/2015 07:46

I should add, they are a lovely couple and I am sure will not be pissed off about seating plans under the circumstances. I just remember how stressful weddings can be...

bootles · 03/04/2015 07:53

jass sorry to hear you have had a second d and c.
sun I didn't mean to add worry yesterday talking about flights and being checked out. I agree with jass, but I was just thinking on the very precautionary side. Not that you ever asked for any thoughts on the flight either. How are you doing today? X

daisy hope you are ok post surgery and it's good that something proactive has been done

Oh just you are not having an easy ride at all. Sorry to hear you are back in hospital. Do they know where the bleed is coming from? Happy to hear the baby is doing well.

barking enjoy the break. You have impressive will power not to take sticks!

Anyone heard from longest recently?

bootles · 03/04/2015 07:54

Cross post sun

girliesaints · 03/04/2015 07:57

Just- hope everything settles down soon and you're home soon. Do they know what's causing it?

Barking- I'm very impressed going camping (it's raining here) and not taking your tests with you.

After vowing not to become "one of those ladies" that obsesses about ov tests, I've now joined the club! Only using them as part of the Response trial and day 5 in and I'm getting fed up that I don't have a smiley face, although I know I shouldn't have one until tomorrow- ggrh!

Justonemoretime · 03/04/2015 07:58

They think the bleed is coming from the inside of the cervix, which is still closed. No obvious bleed site on the scan, but I have a period-like flow going on. I'm in the best place and baby had had its steroids so if anything happens, its got a really good chance. Still hoping it will stay put a while longer, though...

Sunandrainbow · 03/04/2015 08:08

bootles - you didn't add any worry at all. I was thinking exactly the same Smile

Flen · 03/04/2015 08:09

sun I'm so sorry, my heart goes out to you. Massive hugs.

counting I'm glad it went as smoothly as it could have done, and that you got an extra nurse-hug. It is good news that your care will be upped now. Thinking of you.

bythesea Grin

just Glad they are looking after you, even if it means missing the wedding and being in hospital! Hope you and babyjust are ok.

jass glad your second d&c went alright, and hope you can heal now.

barking have camping fun! Hope it is full of wonderful distraction and the time flies by.

girlie I blimmin' hate those ov tests! So stressful! It always seems to come later than you think it will...

AF come two days early here, I guess maybe due to the Coventry scratch. Oh, and GP diagnosed me not with thrush but with Bacterial Vaginosis - sounds utterly disgusting. Hoping it clears up ahead of dtd time this month...

mrsdiddlydoo · 03/04/2015 08:14

sun thinking of you. I'm hoping everything goes to plan holiday wise. You deserve a break... In so many ways. x

just rubbish about the bleed but glad you're in the right place. Rubbish about missing the wedding.

girlie I feel your pain. Hope the smiley turns up soon. Bloody peeibg on sticks!

jass sorry you've had another d and c. Hopefully that's it now.

biscuits totally agree about the rollercoaster of emotions on here. It's sad its all become so normal to us... If that makes sense.

barking bit jealous of the camping! We're staying in a family members' holiday flat which is nice, and dry, but not the same! Our friend has insisted in sleeping in his van over night despite the warm inside being available!

I thought someone was at Coventry yesterday but forgot who. Glad you survived it and hope the move is going ok jady

girliesaints · 03/04/2015 08:25

Blimey Just, you are very calm. As you say you're in the best place possible x
