Just a quick check in as been manic last week but am ABSOLUTELY buzzing that Boozle had good news. I've been holding my breath today since I saw your posts last night/ this morning. ????????

Last day at work today for the week,
So will catch up on everyone else's news later. X

Belleende · 27/11/2014 15:55

Yeah boozle missus "I am going to wait til Tuesday for a scan". It is us lot you are talking to. I reckon we would all have transparent wombs wired for sound if we could.
And great news for you too purple. Don't think you will be needing any of them drugs.

tannyLoo · 27/11/2014 16:27

Purple that's fabby! Well done!

Belle lol!

charlieis30 · 27/11/2014 17:14

Yay purple and bootle... can't believe what good luck the thread is having at the moment, terrified I'm going to be the one to break the lucky streak making it all about me

barkingtreefrog · 27/11/2014 17:14

bellende Yes! Should I get diffed again I want a transparent womb! Or a little camera that linked with my phone so I could see and hear what was happening at all times Grin.
Not sure even that would get rid of the mental though - I'd still be expecting everything to go wrong tomorrow...

Justonemoretime · 27/11/2014 17:55

Yay and yay, Boozle and Purple!!!!!! Made up for you! Grin

longestlurkerever · 27/11/2014 18:27

And cloud let us know how it goes... Fingers crossed.

longestlurkerever · 27/11/2014 21:56

Colleague brought his baby in today. I even said yes to holding him. Think that might be the first time I have held a really small baby since this whole mc business began. Felt nice but was quite tearful afterwards.

Marchgirl · 27/11/2014 22:06

Better get used to it longest. Seems like it really is happening for you and your bundle of joy will be here before you know it. Wink
Still understand how emotional that must have been though. Think I'm just about at the stage where I might be able to visit my friend's (not very) new baby. Bumps still upset me though!

bootles · 27/11/2014 23:01

boozle phew, good on you for being proactive and doing what you needed to do at the time, is getting scanned after all. The staff you saw sound lovely - was this at St.Mary's in London? In their epu?

purple great news.

barking hello again, glad you managed to almost escape from the stresses for a bit. In regards to the aspirin I would raise the issues raised by all the knowledgeable ladies on here, with your consultant, and ask for a full explanation of his reasoning. Pick his/her brains.
Its boozle80 who had the good scan today (yay!), mine is still 2 weeks away. The names have been causing a bit of confusion!

I held my friends newborn quite recently. It was weird, I felt absolutely nothing. I had steeled myself to do it, because I have always been determined not to rain on anyone else's parade, and made all the right noises, but just felt no emotion at all. That upset me in itself. I think I have just got really really good at squishing feelings. Not great.

bootles · 27/11/2014 23:04

I meant: ie getting scanned......not is getting scanned

How was interview cloud?

And welcome scotters sorry that you find yourself here.

bootles · 27/11/2014 23:12

Not that not holding a newborn is raining on a parade - that came across a bit more strongly than intended. There's a history with the friend and I felt I had to.

cloudjumper · 27/11/2014 23:14

Yay purple, that's amazing!

Thanks all for the good wishes. The interview went well (I think) - will find out tomorrow...

barkingtreefrog · 27/11/2014 23:18

Argh! I did put Boozle but it autocorrected to Bootle!! I noticed it and corrected it the first time but didn't notice on the last post. My phone must remember your name!

I'm a bit concerned that I've rejoined this lucky thread too late - it's almost running out!! Shock
