sparkling congratulations, lovely to hear your story

trip!e good luck with ivf

cloud I was found to have slightly higher than normal NK cells at Coventry, so have been on progesterone since day 21, prednisolone since bfp and started clexane today now I know it's in the right place.

bootles · 25/11/2014 22:00

I struggle to keep up hence multiple posting..

Well done just

purple high dose folic acid has never ever been mentioned to me, not from epu, RMC, or Coventry, I wouldn't worry. Your own body's progesterone has got you this far so I wouldn't worry on that one either. Annoying that people are casting doubt in your mind. If its any consolation, St.Mary's RMC/Prof Regan, don't seem to support 'just in case' medications.

Am possibly a bit bonkers to voluntarily wait 2 weeks for next scan. I think I will know if things are progressing by my symptoms, always been quite reliable in the past. I just can't bear to go to RMC next week and there not be a HB and then I'll have to wait for another week to confirm...and they'll say maybe its ok when I would know it wouldn't be ok, I'm just not in the mood for it!! So waiting it is. Have got plenty of things to do to distract me. Yes. I can do it. I think.

Flen · 26/11/2014 07:46

Hello flower, and sorry to hear what you've been through.

March How are you handling the ttc waiting? Is your blood test appt December, did I remember that right or have I made it up?! We have blood tests on the 18th Dec, and I have been wrangling with the NHS this week because there is apparently no referral in the system for me to see the RMC consultant. I wrote a sternly worded letter! We shall see if that does anything...

-waves- to everyone!

Daisybell1 · 26/11/2014 08:19

So much to catch up on, I'm sorry if I miss people off!

Tanny congratulations on the 26 weeks - wey hey!

Boozle - you handled the cancelled scan with real grace - I would have been less composed Blush

Purple - the others are right. If you're 15 weeks then the time for meds seems to be past. Angry at your consultant for worrying you like this.

Sorry sorry to hear your news Flower, thinking of you.

I'm waiting for results from Coventry and frantically working out dates for next ov and Christmas surgery shut down. Not helped by me being at my parents for a week over the crucial bfp time - presumably if I could persuade coventry to give me a script prior to my results coming back then I could collect the meds from any chemist?

Daisybell1 · 26/11/2014 08:19

P's hello to everyone else!!!!

TinyTear · 26/11/2014 08:22

Daisy, i had spare progesterone to get me by before the GP as I got my BFP on my second cycle after the coventry appointment.

i have a sealed box of cyclogest 200mg, if anyone needs

Belleende · 26/11/2014 08:24

purple Sorry hadn't realised you were so far along. You seem to be managing very nicely med free so far. There is bugger all agreement on what to do with ladies like us.
tanny I had forgotten about your hippy tendancies. Pictures please. (And should I manage to squeeze one out I may commission one from you.)
flen how the hell are you supposed to get to see the consultant? Royal invitation?

longestlurkerever · 26/11/2014 08:53

Hello everyone! Lots to catch up on. Welcome newbies, sorry to read your stories. Great news Tiny and Tanny! Rubbish that at got you though. Really hope it happens for you soon. Good luck for the scans cat and boozle. Sorry to anyone I have missed. Not much news from me. Went away for my mum's birthday weekend in Paris, which was nice. Have started telling people about the pregnancy. Still feels a bit fraudulent though as no movements or bump yet.

tannyLoo · 26/11/2014 09:07

Longest lovely to hear you're well. Was only wondering how you were getting on last night. How many weeks are you now? x

longestlurkerever · 26/11/2014 09:16

13 and a half. Limbo time!

Sorry, just re-read previous post. Was meant to say rubbish that af got cloud. Stupid phone! Think my doppler has been delivered next door. Bit nervous of going to fetch it.

TinyTear · 26/11/2014 09:37

Limbo time but past the major danger zone... With Christmas and all hope time will fly until your 20 w scan...

Boozle80 · 26/11/2014 10:07

longest I've missed your name! How're you doing? I think limbo is generally a brilliant way to describe our lives atm! I've just had a shooting pain right down the middle, crapped my pants and then reminded myself, this is normal!

Catlover2014 · 26/11/2014 10:57

Just a quick post to say my 8 week scan went well today. Heartbeat strong, arms and legs starting to show and baby was moving around.

Hope you're all ok! Longest 13 weeks is great. Congratulations :)

XxxX

Boozle80 · 26/11/2014 11:10

Hurray! Great news Cat. Bet you're thrilled :)

Catlover2014 · 26/11/2014 11:15

Thanks boozle hope you're ok Flowers xxx

Marchgirl · 26/11/2014 11:30

Great news cat!
flen, sounds like you are having a nightmare with this appointment. V bad of them to just causally lose it.
I had bloods taken last Friday (long boring post on 21st Nov about it). Waiting for results due in 2-3 wks. If -ve that's our last contact with rmc and we can ttc whenever.
Due to finish my packet of pills Friday so hopefully we are then back on it unless +ve clotting result means I have to be retested.
Can't decide whether I'm hoping for +ve clotting result, which can be treated, or -ve, suggesting there's nothing wrong.
Shitting myself about starting again whilst at the same time excited/relieved

tannyLoo · 26/11/2014 12:24

Cat that's great news! xxx

Catlover2014 · 26/11/2014 12:49

Thanks Tanny and March!

March, hope you get some answers in your results and a good plan for next time. I've spent the best part of five years waiting for appointments and results and it's painful isn't it?

Better times ahead ladies!

XxX

longestlurkerever · 26/11/2014 13:05

Grin fab news cat. Really delighted for you. Are you past your danger zone now? march I totally identify with the conflicting emotions around results.

bythesea are you still looking for a book? I have baking's copy of prof regan's book looking for a home if you want to pm me with your address.

Purplefrogshoes · 26/11/2014 13:07

Great news cat
It's tough waiting on results march
Feeling slightly less nuts today but dreading my scan so still quite loopy Confused

Flen · 26/11/2014 13:46

Great news cat!

Belle, yes, I think I shall compose a letter to the queen next. We will see if my letter direct to the consultant shifts anything...

March so will you not get any medication/treatment if the results are -ve? I have been hoping that our rmc will keep me under their wing even if the tests show nothing. Although frankly at the moment with the lack of referral I am not even sure our rmc exists!

longestlurkerever · 26/11/2014 14:08

Bah, was not doppler next door but a big box of wine that I can't drink. Oh well.

Good luck purple. When is it?

Grrrr to rubbish hospital admin flen. I hate being ignored

Marchgirl · 26/11/2014 14:38

I have a prescription for cyclogest flen, and appt for a scan of uterus should be forthcoming. If -ve for clotting then that's it. Bye bye and all the best. If +ve either repeat tests in 3 months (!!!) (Just bloods taken, no appt with specialist) Or aspirin and heparin prescription (but doesn't sound like she'd see me again, just leave a script for collection). We self refer to psc so i'd just arrange scans through them for next preg.
They are really busy so I see why they do it that way, but I feel a bit left out in the cold if I'm honest!
