Jesus Mary and Joseph, what a lot of goings on.
smoppet any news? I really hope you have some clarity.
cat welcome to the TIAP club. There must be something in the water.
boozle only a few more hours til scan time. A few pink smears mean nowt (except sleepless nights for you of course). What stage are you? Any chance of a heartbeat tomorrow?

Boozle80 · 17/11/2014 18:39

Thanks guys, I think it's because I'm mmc person so it's all I've ever had as a sign. I'm seven weeks yesterday - saw a heartbeat last week so fingers crossed for another one tomorrow! I think scanxiety is one of my new favourite words - I had the same issue with the mobile site, I thought I'd been kicked off for being too much of a stress head!

Catlover2014 · 17/11/2014 19:03

Thanks all for your lovely messages! I can't believe how many BFPs there have been, I hope all sticky ones :)

I'm on cyclogest 400mg three times a day as they think progesterone is my main issue. After years of fertility issues this was a natural BFP that happened while I was being monitored by a consultant so it's all a shock.

Also taking 5mg folic acid and mini aspirin everyday. My mcs are unexplained so just throwing the kitchen sink at it really.

Good luck to all the ladies who have scans this week. I can't get on here often but I will hope to report in soon.

Hugs and lucky star wishes to you all xxxxx

smoppet · 17/11/2014 19:16

Hiya, thanks everyone for your concern. Sadly there was no heartbeat, and though my dates say 13/40 it was only 9mm so measuring about 7 weeks. So it had stopped developing before I even peed on a stick. So they whisked me round to emergency gynae and after about 3 hours I left with diclofenac up my bum (I asked if I could do that one Shock) and misoprostal to kick-start the contractions. Got home about 5 and cooked tea and now doing bedtime, then I'm gonna curl up and watch breaking bad. And tomorrow's another day.

boozle good luck tomorrow, the pink smudge sounds harmless, I hope your bean is safe and sound.

tanny 25 weeks is almost time to start relaxing I reckon - I think both times I finally felt like it might really happen once I hit viability. No nursery painting in our house. A few babygros at 35 weeks! Good luck.

Oh, and what's TIAP?

Thank you thank you for being there these last few days. X

Justonemoretime · 17/11/2014 19:24

Smoppet, sorry to hear this. I hope it all passes as painlessly as possible and you can begin to recover.
Boozle, fingers crossed its all fine. I've a bit of spotting and its not what you need for the anxiety, I know. Good luck tomorrow.
Cat, sounds like you're doing everything you can, unless you can persuade your consultant to exchange aspirin for heparin. Its worth asking. Good luck.
Tanny, I'm so pleased that you are finally able to relax a little.Smile

Erica21 · 17/11/2014 22:38

Ladies, I'm sorry to keep crashing in and out of the thread, I'm lurking whilst feeling incredibly sad/flat/low this week. Not coping very well at all. Quick bit of advice, 2 weeks after ERPC am still bleeding on and off, dark brown, then fresh then disappears etc. Now have a stonking migraine which I never suffer from. Likely it's an infection? Dr has prescribed AB over the phone to pick up tomorrow, wondered if anyone had suffered the same?

Boozle everything is crossed for you, hugs.

Smoppet I'm so sorry for your loss

smoppet so sorry to read this sad news. Xx

boozle i hope you get some rest tonight..what time is your scan? Have everything crossed for you xx

bootles · 17/11/2014 22:51

erica i bled for 2 weeks post erpc but it was mainly old blood - so dark red/brown, not fresh blood. Not sure that fresh blood would be a sign of infection though..do you have abdominal pain or a temperature or a smelly discharge other than the blood? Wonder how the migraine fits in...I reckon get checked out by gp if you still feel rubbish tomorrow.

Sorry you are feeling flat and low..it is just so bloody hard sometimes to cope with all the emotions. But you will. Hugs x

bootles · 17/11/2014 22:53

cat...so pleased to hear from you and your news. Really hoping this is the one!

Erica21 · 17/11/2014 22:57

No temp, although I have generally felt crampy and bloated which I thought should have gone by now. Blood goes dark brown, disappears for a day and then starts up again bright red although it is quite light and then tails off again, no discharge. Phoned the EPU who advised talking to the gp... Don't want AB if not necessary. 2nd ERPC in 3 months so maybe it's caused more bruising etc this time Sad x

Purplefrogshoes · 17/11/2014 23:18

erica I had stop start bleeding for weeks after my 2nd erpc, I was given ab as a precaution

Thinking of you both smoppet boozle

Hope everyone else is doing ok

Belleende · 18/11/2014 00:15

Deep breaths boozle at least you have a scheduled scan tomorrow so it's not too long before you know more. Keeping everything crossed for you.
erica Sorry you feel so crap. I think with multiple erpcs they tend to go easier to avoid damage, but I think it can take longer to resolve. Have you had a negative preg test yet? If not you might think about getting scanned again.

Justonemoretime · 18/11/2014 07:34

Boozle, how have you been overnight? Thinking of you today. Good luck.
Erica, I had retained products after my first two MCs, and it is distressing. Hopefully it will resolve without another procedure, it usually does. I'd take the ab, its a wise precaution. I have been told before that its the infection afterwards that can lead to scarring, not always the procedure itself. If its the ones I got, they're nasty, and you need to take them after eating or you'll vom... Sad good luck and speedy recovery to you.
