Off to get my blood taken from me to test for thyroid function this morning. Frankly I am surprised that I have much blood left.

TinyTear · 14/11/2014 08:09

oh no! bloody GP!

I nearly had to take mine to my 'birth options' clinic but fortunately she had recovered from her bad cold and I managed to stick her back in nursery for 2 hours while I went to the appointment (at least hospital is next door to the nursery) and just told everyone she was missing her frineds and it was better to go back for a few hours than straight to a full day after being at home a few days...

But all worked out fine and I shall have my c-section hooray!

TinyTear · 14/11/2014 08:09

Flen I have an underactive thyroid, but funnily enough it was only diagnosed after I finally had my DD and then still had 2 mcs after being on the meds - but on one I don't think I upped them quickly enough

Justonemoretime · 14/11/2014 08:18

Thanks. Just in the car park. Bricking it!

longestlurkerever · 14/11/2014 08:52

Justonemoretime · 14/11/2014 08:54

Phew, all fine, measuring 8 weeks, so slightly ahead on dates now! x Relieved!!!!! Thanks for the hand holding!

TinyTear · 14/11/2014 08:57

woohoo Just
Another milestone reached!

Here's to the next 2 to 4 weeks!

Are they scanning you at 10w?

After my 8w scan the EPU discharged me and that was why I went to the FMC for the Harmony and a 10w scan

longestlurkerever · 14/11/2014 08:59

Brilliant, brilliant news just! According to mr rai 8 weeks is the biggest milestone of all. Delighted.

Who is due next for a scan? Still worrying about Belle. Didn't she have one on wed?

bakingtins · 14/11/2014 09:14

I've messaged belle to see if she's ok.

just brilliant news and a big milestone reached. Thrilled for you. Smile

Justonemoretime · 14/11/2014 16:27

Thanks ladies, it was a relief! Good luck for yours, Boozle.
Any news from Belle?

Purplefrogshoes · 14/11/2014 22:35

Fingers crossed for you boozle I hope belle is ok

I'm stressed tonight, I still hadn't spilled the beans about the pregnancy and DH has just forced my hand by telling his mother so I have had to send an email to my bf who can't have children to let her know before she hears elsewhere, I feel really shit to do it on a Friday night and she is having a real tough time at the moment too but it would be worse if she heard from someone else Sad

bootles · 14/11/2014 22:55

Oh purple that sounds tough. But I'm sure she would rather hear it from you than from someone else. There's no perfect time to tell her, and I hope the two of you find your way through.

Also hoping belle is ok.

Belleende · 15/11/2014 07:39

Hello ladies, sorry for disappearing act. All gets a bit overwhelming at times. I can add to the good scan news. One baby, good heartbeat, in the right place, dates bang on. TSH levels also below 3. I share your relief just

I have also just woken up to my latest pregnancy symptom, really stinky armpits. Nice.
