Sorry, meant Bootles not boozle.

Flen · 13/11/2014 20:27

bootles and boozle I send you as much strength as you need for these times of anxiety.

And once again this thread has raised a chuckle for me with its wrong'un vs fanjo theme.

tannyLoo · 13/11/2014 20:35

Flen sorry, will deffo pop the book in the post! Being a bit shite...

Marchgirl · 13/11/2014 20:47

I love the banana head comment longest. Made me smile Smile
Another preg announcement today which made me feel shit about the fact I can't muster a bit more enthusiasm and joy for my friend Sad

Flen · 13/11/2014 20:57

march PAH! to enthusiasm and joy. Just toooo hard sometimes. (I still haven't actually spoken to my sister since her announcement last week, but am being gentle with myself about it. So my comment might have a little self-justification in it!)

tanny No rush, am really grateful for whenever you can.

longestlurkerever · 13/11/2014 21:04

Yes ditto to what flen said. Sometimes it's just a bit relentless eh?

Boozle80 · 13/11/2014 21:20

Hey all, Bootles i never got as far as NK cell testing - was due to go for it a fortnight after I got my BFP. My consultant gave me the steroids for it as a precaution - I didn't even need to ask - she did say they were more efficient from BFP and I got them at six weeks but I'll take whatever I can get! Definitely reckon the wrong 'un is the way forward for me - I've had so many ERPC's and dtd in the last year it hasn't got a hope in hell of staying up the other!

bootles · 13/11/2014 21:32

Thanks flen. Bootles and Boozles are a bit similar..I may add a bit on the end of my name to differentiate.

longest DD sounds funny. I'm sure you won't be needing to explain anything to her. Do you think that name will stick from DD's point of view?!

It's difficult though, when news comes out before you'd like it to. My DS was two and a half when I had my second loss which was a tfmr at 13 weeks. He'd heard medical people saying things, so I had to explain to him. Though it was horrible to do, I kept it honest and simple and he totally accepted it and then knew why I was sad.

bootles · 13/11/2014 21:37

Cross post boozle, ah you got there first with the name thing! Sounds like you have an open-minded consultant, and that you are now on board with all the meds. I'm going to have to try the progesterone in the 'right' hole now, just as an experiment...

Boozle80 · 13/11/2014 21:40

Ooo, I don't know what happened there - I didn't change it! My smart phone really is clever!

longestlurkerever · 13/11/2014 21:46

Bootles who knows? She was giggling away and offered 'orange-head' as an alternative. Showed her the scan pic and she was impressed by the special camera that can see inside tummies, but less impressed by the actual pic as she couldn't see a face. Funny to think that it's for her more than anyone that I want this baby and she isn't pleased! Hopefully she will come round!

It's hard isn't it? They do pick stuff up. After one of my mcs she asked if there was a baby in my tummy. I don't remember anyone telling her directly but she twigged somehow and I had to tell her there wasn't any more. Sad

Where does your name come from Bootles? Is it connected to Bootle the area in Liverpool?

Tiny I have seen that suppository thread now. How ridiculous! I am not that British.

Justonemoretime · 13/11/2014 21:50

My niece asked me if all my children had died, and whether that meant that my cats were my children now. She's 3. I don't know what she must have heard...

longestlurkerever · 13/11/2014 22:01

Aw Just I remember you saying. Xx

Justonemoretime · 13/11/2014 22:06

Scan doom for tomorrow... this is the danger zone. 1 and 2 went at 6 and a half weeks. I should be 7... Keep thinking if I relax I'll jinx it Sad

bakingtins · 13/11/2014 22:26

Good luck for tomorrow just Try to get some sleep. we are all rooting for you.

OP posts:
tannyLoo · 13/11/2014 22:33

Just you know you can't jinx it, no matter how hard you try. Will be thinking of you tomorrow...

bootles · 13/11/2014 22:34

Good luck tomorrow just, thinking of you.

longest she will come round, for sure. Other pg's DS wasn't exposed to any 'clues' and still commented there was a baby in my tummy. Maybe he remembered the 2nd one though.

No connection to Liverpool..in all honesty I was watching a children's programme, can't remember the name but its about planet okey dokey and friendly aliens. One is called pootles, or something like that. I thought Bootles sounded nice. So very dull I'm afraid!

bythesea82 · 13/11/2014 23:33

just good luck tomorrow, lots of pairs of fingers tightly crossed for you Flowers

Marchgirl · 14/11/2014 06:57

I havent told dd yet. Maybe after the 20w scan...

girliesaints · 14/11/2014 07:22

Just positive vibes for later x

longestlurkerever · 14/11/2014 07:34

Fingers crossed for you Just.

Has anyone heard from Belle? Bit worried about her.

Tiny I would have preferred to wait too but had to take her with me to go, who spoke to her directly about the baby in mummy' s tummy. Bit silly of her, I thought, and Dd's face was decidedly unimpressed.

Flen · 14/11/2014 07:52

just thinking of you today...

longestlurkerever · 14/11/2014 07:53
