Right, so some voting (for dates), and some venue checking has been done, and Me n NappiesGalore have made executive organising planning decisions (based on us having little time and few options )

Saturday 22nd November

Dust Bar (website here)

Nearest Tube Station - Farringdon

It will be canapes, so if you want more food, eat beforehand.

The canapes are being chosen for us - they will be clearly labelled as meat, fish, veg and will allergy advice.

The music we can bring a dj, ipod with playlist set up or have music piped up (music is a very varied mix so should suit everyone). We can use any/all of those options.

Music is quieter at bar end, plus we will have volume control.

Price will be £20 per head max. I will phone tomorrow to find out when they need final numbers for food etc, and when we have a more accurate numbers list, I can work out the right cost - it WILL NOT be more than £20. If we end up paying more than is needed, then obviously I will buy a new dress divide it up and refund people OR put it behind the bar - whatever you think is best.

I won't be committing to this (or not) until last minute I'm afraid (ds only 6 days old and currently feeding all evening), so better consider me on the reserves list only.

well the zoom bit is stuck so wont work. im sure if you know what your doing you could fix it but it's beyond me.
i took iot to the shop but they said it would cost more to fix than to bu a new one

they sell on ebay for spares or repair for about £20 so if it does i can use that to pay for the meet. wont be able to afford it otherwise.

Well at least I realised before I started a thread such as

'Come and confirm and pay for the xmas meet you fookers'

I thought I'd sorted it, but actually have paid the deposit for a work xmas do and got confused.

What happens if we don't make up the minimum?

I am going with the theory that if we are miles off minimum me, Nappiesgalore and Psycho are gonna be getting wasted

With 40 people, we will get £800.

If 20 of those 40 spend £20 on drinks (London prices, alcohol... not hard to do!) we hit the £1200 mark.

Tis really just a case of harassing everyone and convincing them they do want to come...

At least some of MNHQ are meant to be coming (need to harass them again for numbers and payment), and they are lushes

Oh and if it is completely tits up, then I am nominating myself for the xmas appeal
