MD - dd2 slept great considering, she's taking the painkillers regularly. We went to see the 'bone doctor' this morning at Alder Hey, he said that she is very lucky, if she's fallen a little harder on it, her wrist would have need to have been pinned! He was pleased with how it looked, so she needs to keep the splint on for three more weeks and be very careful with it for another 6! So no football, climbing, wrestling, rugby or anything else that she loves until it's healed! She is not pleased!

Jammy, thank you for the invite to your dd2's party, gosh is that a whole year already? Well, of course, we'd love to be there (just ds2 and maybe dd1 if that's ok), if I can still walk by then!.

MD - hope you are all o.k.

Anyone heard from Biglips - she was having a sweep today and possible induction soon?? God luck if you are around?!!

BL is going in for iduction tonight. She had a sweep at the midwife this am, was 2cm dilated. Looks like BL junior will arrive some time over the weekend.

Browny - poor DD2 really gave her arm a knock, didn't she? Gosh, I bet she's gonna struggle to rest it. How frustrating for her. I can see you not getting on to MN for a while! Of course you and any number of the Browny clan will be very welcome at DD2's party. Mum's a midwife and there'ss be a couple of nurses there too so you'll be in safe hands!

MD - hope you have a lovely time at Butlins. Which one are you going to?

I ended up in LWH last night with bleeding and cramps so I fear the worst...another MC. Booked in for scan on Sun am. THe waiting is awful. Please will everyone say a little prayer for me that bean is ok.

Unfortunately there was no baby there today.

I am going to give MN a break for a while. Too much heart break on the threads I have been visiting lately. Some of you have my mob number so please keep in touch and let me know about any meet-ups. Hope to see some of you at DD2's birthday party.

yay BL congrats on having your little baby cant wait to hear your proper announcement
ok im back from my appointment. i have been told i have a strain of antiphospholipid syndrome called lupus erythemothrombosis. i had to have a repeat blood test to confirm it but that seems to be the cause for my MCs. im not sure whether i feel happy that i have an answer or upset that i have a blood disorder that will make it hard for me carry any babies the consultant was lovely and very sympathetic and answered all of my questions though which was a nice change so what happens next is i have to get up the duff and then start on baby asprin and heparin injection combo alongside 2weekly appointments and scans to keep an eye on the progress of my preg and he also said that i was doing well starting to lose weight and to keep it up as it will help with being able to conceive so i will be keeping that up so that seems to be about the gist of it im feelin a bit weird about it all now and i now have to go to work and act cheerful im off tomorrow on a rest day so i will try and bottle up my weirdness til then

Biglips - Many congratulations on your little one, can't wait to hear all about the birth, hope you are home now from hospital and that you managed to grab some sleep last night.

Ei - that's some blood disorder you've got there, at least you (and the hospital) know now and can hopefully help you. Do you know if the blood disorder affects your general health as well?

MD - hope your cold is getting better and that your dd2 is still doing well with the new medicine in her bottles .

My dd2 went back to school today, with a letter for her teacher... don't let her do games, P.E., swim or play football at dinnertime - she's not happy and very, very bored! Maybe breaking her wrist (and the pain she's got) will calm her down a little.
