Pregnant??? me??? Well maybe just a little bit. Not due til May. Still very early days. Have been dropping a lot of unsubtle hints on this thread and now decided to come completely out of the closet and hope for the best.

Jammy, Yay!!!!!!!!! Now I can post a proper CONGRATULATIONS, you were up late last night! We all went for a meal for dd2's birthday to our local carvery and had delicious raspberry riple ice-cream with lemon sauce for desert!

Weather is really horrible isn't it? We were hoping to go to Kirkby Lonsdale Victorian Fayre (we've been going every year so it's a bit of a tradition), but don't fancy getting soaked.

Biglips - how are you feeling today, is bump still very sore after EVC?

browny · 05/09/2008 09:51

Ooh Jammy, forgot to say well done on winning the competition, what did you actually win as I didn't notice it .

Nemoandthefishes · 05/09/2008 17:43

congrates jaamy on winning..although put those waggling fingers away young lady!!! Oh and of course congrates on being up the duff...

andyrobo237 · 05/09/2008 20:19

jaamy - I was in work when I saw your name at the bottom of my screen - so had a nosey to see what you had won! Sounds a fab prize, and I will defo help you use it!!! Cue a girls night in in April maybe??

I was planning to take DC to see the spider on Sunday - early in the morning - but need to check the website to see what and where it will be. Not sure if it will be fun if it is raining, but DD wants to go!

Gotta dash - Big Brother finale is on!! Saddo!

Thank you for your congrats, everyone. I'm sure it was a tremendous shock to you all. I'm afraid I can 't tak eall the credit for the pg but I will try. Am waiting for MS to set in (was well and truly housebound at 8 weeks with DD2, can't remember when it kicked in with DD1). WIll make sure DH does his bit then!

BL - hope it's not too long for you to wait now.

Ei - yes, I was under Mr Farquharson. DH found the pronunciation of his name hilarious. Don't think I only ever actually saw him once, and then I just saw his minions(!) - he had a few doctors working for him but they were all very lovely. Had me in for a lap and dye within a couple of months and then clomid a couple of months after that. PG with DD1 within 2 months. I'm sure they'll get to the bottom of things with you. Good luck hun x

Nemo - the wedding was lovely. DDs had a fab time and were spoiled rotten by most of the other guests. Well, they did look lovely and were very well behaved. I know we forgot H's cardigan but A managed fine with the one we had. Hotel was lovely - very indulgent. Good weekend had by all.

MD - no, afraid it has to be your pink baby. WIth the pink hat, if you don't mind, please. Hope new med works for DD2.

Andyrobo - yes, will wait to see what Schloer send me for the baby shower - not sure whether there's a time limit. But, yes will be a girl's night in here in the not too distant future.

to all of you who got to see La Machine.

DD1 started school full time today. Had a ball. She is currently pretending to ba a teacher and bossing DD2 around. Because that's what teachers do, apparently. Isn't that right, MD?

Browny - hope DS got on ok and is not being a s bossy as my DD1!

SA2 - how goes the house? HAven't forgotten you promised us a night in round yours when it's all done. {cheeky ]

MyDingaling · 09/09/2008 17:55

Glad you enjoyed the wedding Jaamy. Glad your DD1 is enjoying school - and yes, all teachers are bossy! I am sorry, but I have decided that I am going to keep DD2, now that she has the enfamil she is like a different child. Last night she slept from 11.30 until 8. Fingers crossed for the same tonight!

Nemo - did you go to see the lambananas last night? We went, some brill ones we hadn't seen.

BL- -hope you are managing to get some sleep and are not too uncomfortable. Same for you Browny. Hope your DS" is still enjoying school.
Hello everybody else - are we going to have a grown up meet up soon?

Jaamy · 09/09/2008 18:14

MD - DD2 will be most disappointed that you are keeping your DD2. Everso glad that the new med is working.

As usual we missed the superlambananas yesterday. DD1 had swimming lesson. We drove all the way to Mossley Hill, only to discover that I'd forgotten her swimming costume. DD1 not happy (after a long and tiring day at school) so we cut our losses and came home. See, forgetful pg hormones setting in already.

Nemoandthefishes · 09/09/2008 20:42

aww MD myself and dh just said well done on getting the enfamil and am sooooooo glad dd2 is better on it..really is a fab product!!Yes we did go to the lambananas last night and the trio were delighted..loved the dinosaur one!!

Jaamy pmsl what are you like ditsy missus!!!Hope dd1 is enjoying school and not too tired..although enough not to give you any night time visits

I have been to childminders pre reg meeting tonight so 2 weeks today I start ICP course and in about 3/4mths will be registered!! DS starts school tomorrow and after rocky start this morning[ill] he is definetly going in..

browny · 10/09/2008 11:42

MD - really good to hear that your dd2 and you both had a lovely long sleep, wonder why the doctor didn't prescribe the wonderful medicine in the first place, it would have saved you a lot of worry and upset (nice to hear that you're going to keep her now .

Jammy, , how are you feeling now, poor little dd1 missing her swimming lesson, how did her first day go at school? My ds2 loved it, he came running out saying, "I didn't cry and I'm not tired", he loves putting his uniform on in the morning and waiting for his grandad to knock at the door to take him , I'm so relieved that he likes it, I really missed him and felt pretty upset the whole day, the pesky pregnancy hormones don't help much either! Oh and he learnt to ride his bike without the stabilisers on too at Otterspool .

Biglips, hope you are managing to snatch some sleep and are looking after yourself .

Nemo, good luck on the course, sounds like you're going to have a house full of little-uns to look after soon .

andyrobo237 · 10/09/2008 21:36

Evening all - this is the first time I have managed to come on here for four nights as DS is being a pain in the a@@e - I think he is teething - the big fang ones - and boy dont we know about it - not eating, dribbling excessively, general whinging and being a pain. He will not go to sleep and if I can get him to sleep then an hour later he is awake again. So tough love tonight as DH had taken DD to his aunties to sort out a TV, so DS was put in bed at 7.15pm and cried and then sobbed then called out 'mummy' in a pathetic voice - I kept shouting up the stairs ' go to sleep' and got all the little jobs done that I had been trying to do the previous nights! At 7.40pm he was asleep!! Yah = only it lasted for half an hour - so went up and told him to sleep in a stern (teacher like) voice! Still there now fast asleep - heres hoping for a better night!

MD - glad DD2 is settling on the new milk - is it on prescription (so free??)

Bl- not long to go now - I hope this LO comes when you want!!

Jaamy - maybe you will escape the MS this time - never had it with either but know plenty who have suffered with it. Hope DD got over missing her swimming lesson - it is easily done - Tues is our worst day - dancing staight from school so have to pack a snack for her to eat in car, her uniform, as well as the usual day today bags! I usually try to put her kit in the car the night before! I also dont put the bag back in her room until her kit is washed (same with swimming), so I know I can just grab the bag and go!!

Nemo - good luck with the course - I think you will make a fab childminder - hope all goes well!!

DD is enjoying Year 2 in school - good teacher - had two reading books, 20 spellings and homework already and only been back a week! It is wearing me out, never mind her!!

Hi to everyone else - grown-up meet definately needed soon!!

BL - you still waiting?

Andy - I just haven't got myself trained yet! Lord help us when sleepless nights kick in!

Am all chuffed with myself for organising a couple of nights away to Legoland (nice hotel and all) at half term for the grand price of £17.50. Quite excited actually. Is that sad?

Hope everyone else ok.

Jaamy · 12/09/2008 13:59

Browny - have you settled in to your home alone routine? Make the most of it for a few weeks. Glad DS2 has settled in.

How did DS get on, Nemo? Can't believe you're filling the house with more children! Where're you gonna put them? Seriously, hope the training goes well. There's not much you don't know about children.

biglips · 12/09/2008 16:14

im having a sweep done at 41 weeks as my consultant said today that he prefer to do them from 41 weeks. So that be next Friday...if all failed then a elective section.

the baby is 3/5 engaged so at least thats something!!

its my due date today and having loads of niggly back pains lately.

OP posts:
browny · 13/09/2008 14:17

Biglips, you are coping with the waiting game? If the sweep doesn't work on Friday, arn't you going to have the baby induced instead of a c-section? Hope you're not too uncomfortable.

Jammy, how did you manage to get away for that price... you should be pleased with yourself! How are you, hope you're not feeling too sick, but sick enough (if you know what I mean).

biglips · 13/09/2008 17:36

well thats the dilemma ive got atm as i was induced with DD and ended up with an emergency section so if this sweep fails then poss a elective section......but dunno yet!
