DDs both in bed but just before they went up for bath, DD2 came over to me and started crying. Couldn't make out what she was saying at first...then all became clear...
"Mummy, but I want a pink one!"
"A pink what sweetie?"
"A pink baby." Both DDs call their dolls "babies"
"But you have a pink one sweetie, come on let's go and find her"
DD2 (hysterical now) "But I want one like the lady had in the park"
[jaamy thinks hard, trying to remember lady with pink doll in Calderstones, then light dawns]
"Oh you mean MD's pink one? The pink baby that mummy was cuddling?"
"Yes Mummy - I want that pink baby"
"Shall we yet oursleves a pink baby MD's DD2?"
"Yes, a baby MD's DD2"
So I told her that the next time we go to see baby Jesus that she could ask him to put a baby in Mummy's tummy and that I'd grow it for her. But that it might take a long time. Obviously she would like to grow the baby herself but I think I've put her off that idea, for now!

Now, I just need to find out where on earth I can get hold of a pink baby . Anyone got any ideas?

We took the DC to see that La Machine tonight and they loved it..apparently it will 'wake up' on sunday!!

I'm off this week settling ds2 into school (not that he needs it), just a good excuse for lots of days out monday to weds, then some school today and tomorrow
Also thinking that a trip to the spider's lair might be fun over the weekend, dses will love it and it will give dd nightmares from now til christmas
