MyDingaling · 29/08/2008 20:59

Any news Bl?

Ei well done on your results, I am glad new job is going well.

Nemo when we had our new bathroom put in we spent 2 days weeing in a bucket, it was awful! hope you come up with somewhere to go with your lot!

How you feeling browny?

DD2 is up and down with reflux. She has some really bad day when she doesn't sleep then a couple of good ones where she settles after every bottle but think this is because she is so exhausted.

Thinking of going to Liverpool Museum on wed if anybody fancies it.

biglips · 29/08/2008 21:01

Nemoandthefishes · 29/08/2008 21:58

ohhh MD I might join you depending on the time as the girlies are in nursery until 1pm..so wouldnt get there until 1.30pm

browny · 29/08/2008 22:01

Biglips, glad you and baby are o.k., good idea having an early night .

MD, sorry your poor little dd2 is still suffering (and you're having lost sleep too), really hope the reflux stops soon. Would love to meet up, but don't fancy have the energy chasing around ds2 around the museum, he's been like a whirlwind lately. If you're off to Calderstones, let me know... there's that nice cafe to sit in .

Nemo, looks like you'll have to just hand around Asda for the next few days.. nice, clean toilets there! Hope it's all done and looks lovely for you soon.

biglips · 30/08/2008 09:40

Hello!

Back from gay Paris having had a truly wonderful time! Spent the days wandering round Montmatre/Sacre Cour or in Luxenbourg Jardin reading a book in the sunshine! Evenings we went to see some of the bigger sights - EIffel Tour, Louvre (wow!), Grand Arc, Champs Elyesses.

Unfortunately couldn't sample all of the cheese, pate and alcohol for various reasons but still had a fab time.

Hope everyone else is ok.

BL - are you still holding on to that bump?

Browny - when does DS2 go back to nursery? Or does he start school this year? Might give you some well earned rest. Re: my neighbour - she can't kick him out, it's his house. They aren't married. They row like cat and dog sometimes so loud that we can hear them in our house (we're detatched!). She has a room set up at her mum's for her and DCs (think there is some benefit fiddling going on). Most of the time when his car is there, her's isn't and vice versa. This must be about the 5th time this year he's been away without her. Sometimes he takes older child. Very sad. ON the other hand, if I knocked on their door at 3am and asked them to look after DDs, I know they wouldn't hesitate. They are good neighbours in that way, just a shame about other things.

Nemo - how goes the bathroom? Or are you and DH just getting plastered!!!! Arf

DD1 doesn't start school until 8th but will be in full time straight away. We'll be around next week, but not on Wed or Thurs...I have appt to get foot looked at, appt at DD1's school and dentist.

If weather is good would love a meet up at Calderstones since I missed the last one. MD - you could drop off DDs (with supplies for DD2) and then go home for a sleep!

TTFN

Jaamy · 30/08/2008 10:18

Ei - [bows in presence of superior intellect] - well done you! And what a clever DD you have too!

Hope to bump into you soon!!!!!

browny · 30/08/2008 11:55

Hiya Jammy! Glad you have a wonderful time in Paris, it sounds amazing, hope you will have a lovely reason for missing out on all the lovely cheeses and pates .

Ds2 starts nursery on the 8th, full time, we're going to meet his teacher (again) on Tuesday 2nd and stay a while. He can't wait, all we need now is his Ben 10 lunchbox! Is you dd1 looking forward to starting?

Let me know when everyone's up for a cuppa in Calderstone's cafe .

Nemoandthefishes · 30/08/2008 12:14

glad you had a fab time jaamy..bump into you soon I am sure!!!

browny bless ds2 and the ben10 lunch box DS has his waiting but he doesnt start until the 10th and then has to do week and half of 9-11.30am so officially in ALL DAY on the 22nd..yayy..I mean boo hoo hoo hoo

Today we have no toilet or sink..fun fun fun so have been to football with ds this morning where he won trophy for player of the week so he is delighted. Have brought them home for some lunch/my mum to visit then will take them to the safari park before taking them to PIL to bath them..

biglips · 30/08/2008 16:49

yes my DD loves Ben 10.....she actually loves all the older stuff now but watch yellow Cbeebies now and again. Her faves are Power Rangers, Dinosaur King and of course Dora...

DD is back in her preschool on 8th Sept. dont u think it had flown by though??

MD hi i hope things are going well with you and your family
ambi how are you? ok i hope weve not heard from you in a while
well i had my appointmnet in LWH for investigation into my MCs. they were super thorough as the nurse who was supposed to be seeing me had gone home early and i was left waiting in the waiting room for 45mins until they realised she hadnt told me she was going home due to this i have been given a fast referral to the top consultant in MC/fertility problems and i will see him in 6 weeks time so hopefully i will be joining the baby boom soon
hope everyone is having a nice weekend
xx ei xx

Jaamy · 30/08/2008 21:02

Ei - so glad LWH are sorting you out, even if you did have to wait 45 mins. I was under Mr Farquarson there, nearly 6 years ago. They are very good. I think we're quite lucky with LWH. Things seem to move a bit quicker there than in other parts of the country.

Browny - We would be OK for a meet up in Calderstones on Monday pm if you are able and weather permitting.

Nemo - hope not been too difficult without loo and sink. At least you have PIL nearby.

BL - still hanging on in there I see.

MD - hope you managed to get some rest today.

Am off to bed shortly. Am very tired today

browny · 31/08/2008 12:45

Jammy, hope you're not too tired today , would love to meet up tomorrow in Calderstones, I've just checked the weather on Metcheck and it says tomorrow will stay dry , does anyone else fancy coming to let the little ones run off some steam? .

Ei, glad that you're being fast-tracked by the Women's and thank's for asking about me, I'm o.k., feeling really heavy now and nothing fits anymore, think I might have to come to the park in my very comfy p.j.'s . I'll be glad when the kids go back to school on Wednesday, (just for some peace and quiet) but I'm not looking forward to getting up at 7am!.

MD, how are you feeling? I hope you're managing to catch up on your sleep and that your little dd2 isn't suffering with the reflux so much. Can't wait to meet your dd2 .

Biglips, hope you're taking it nice and easy .

Nemo.... got your new bathroom yet?

MyDingaling · 31/08/2008 13:50

Browny, Jaamy - We can do Calderstones tomorrow pm.
Health visitor comming at 11 so pm is ideal for us.

Jaamy · 31/08/2008 13:51

Hi Browny - had a lovely long lie in this morning...til 11.30 so feeling fab today! Even though both DDs decided to come for a cuddle at various times through the night. Won't be long before they won't be able to fit in the bed with us.

Shall we make a date for tomorrow, then? We've got swimming at 4.30 in Mossley Hill so anytime between lunchtime and then. If weather is rubbish, will have to re-think.

Anyone else?

Jaamy · 31/08/2008 13:51

Hi MD - X-posts. WIll be lovely to see you and your little ladies tomorrow, too.

Ambi · 31/08/2008 15:16

Ei - thanks for thinking of me

Busy back at work now but yeay for some money coming in shortly! Feels like those 9 months ML has disappeared and I've not been away. Although I'm only working mornings and DD comes in with me in her travel cot by my desk.
Congrats on your new job, and those scores!

Nemo - Hope bathroom fitting has gone ok, we've been searching for a bath, as we only have a shower and is totally unpractical for LO, she can only just fit into her baby bath.

I'm currently nursing a hangover as had some friends over last night and indulged a little too much So cannot function too well.

If you're still meeting up, then I should be able to bob across, I finish work at 1.30pm and it's only in skem so not far.

Jaamy · 31/08/2008 17:37

Ambi - would be lovely to meet you and DD. Hope your hangover isn't too bad.

browny · 31/08/2008 17:51

Jammy, glad you had a lovely lie-in, that's all I've done for the past 6 weeks, I'm in for a shock come Wednesday morning when the kids go back to school!

How about 1 o'clock ish at the park if the weather stays nice?

MD and Ambi, look forward to seeing you tomorrow .

Nemo, can you make it?

Jaamy · 31/08/2008 18:02

See you at 1-ish. By the playground/cafe?

browny · 31/08/2008 18:35

O.k., that's fine, look forward to seeing you .

MyDingaling · 31/08/2008 18:58

I am having my shopping delivered some time between 11 and 1 so I may be a bit late.
Looking forward to meeting you ambi
