Sounds like you all had a lovely time last night.
I had another terrible night with DD2 - up from 1.10 until 4.45. Dh took over and she went off at 5.15 but then woke up at 5.55 for bottle. I am very tearful because I am so tired -be gentle with me!
We are aiming to arrive at KGV about 1ish
See you later

biglips · 20/08/2008 12:12

biglips - I hope you had fun sorting out the baby clothes - if you email me your address I will pop the clothes round for your DD after the weekend ([email protected])

I had to miss this afternoon - had a blinding migraine - still a bit foggy now, but SIL tok the kids out for an hour to park which helped! Got DS christening this weekend so could have donw with doing a load of housework, but managed to shove two loads in washer, dried on line.

Hope you had a fab time - fortunately I hadent mentioned it to DD so she was happy to go to park with cousin!

Had to make a list of things to do tomorrow - getting there, but we are dog sitting, so he makes a mess! He goes nback friday so I am hoping to shampoo the lounge carpet on sat morning - takes 45 mins, so Dh will have to take them out for an hour - not sure where!! We are then going to farmer Teds with my Brother. All this effort but not sure if anyone will notice - just need to order the weather so kids can be chucked in garden!!!!

biglips · 20/08/2008 21:01

browny · 21/08/2008 12:51

How was the fun-day yesterday? I was it was nearer as I'd have loved to have taken my four out to wear them out a bit, they were bickering all day yesterday as they couldn't go out to play as it was raining yet again! Think I'll try and persuade them to go swimming today.

Ei, glad the job is going well, sorry about the BFN, I'll have my fingers crossed for next month for you. I remember you telling me about your sister, it was on the cards really wasn't it and you knew you'd be her shoulder to cry on (again).

Jammy, adult only night in your house sounded lovely, I'm very .

biglips · 21/08/2008 19:20

browny - where are u having your baby? At the womens??....One of my friends had her 4th baby and it was her last so she went for a home birth and wished she had all the births at home as it was the best feeling as so relaxed and if she would have another baby she would opt for a home birth again. But if your Dp would be freaked out by that then it wont be a relaxing birth!. im having mine at the Womens and preferred all the drugs is within arm reach !!.....thats me!

browny · 22/08/2008 21:46

Biglips, if I remember right you were due to go to the hospital today to try and turn your baby, how did it go? I went this afternoon to have bloods and anti-d injection, the anti-d injection really, really stung (it's a double-dose now so it took longer to go in), I've got a dead leg now and feel quite sorry for myself.

How's everyone else doing? .

biglips · 22/08/2008 22:46

browny - i did have a appointment to see the conusltant but only to check me and the baby over before he booked me for the breech clinic on 1st Sept... so ive been on my hands and knees today and will do till 1st Sept!....its so hard! so no more visits to Fazkerley hosp - hooray!!! so will be going in the Womens on 1st Sept.

Aww you was brave for the injection..

Nappyaddict - thank you for letting us know about Debbie. I've met here and she's l;ovely but I had no idea she was going though such a terrible time. I've been offline for a while but will email her to see if I can help.

Browny - sorry you weren't at our grown-up night in. We had a terrible time, honestly ! Will try it again when you can makr it. I really don't mind doing it again (when DH is away again). Hope your DCs enjoyed the swimming. Isn't this weather rubbish? My neighbour is due on 20th Nov and I was speaking to her today. She's a bit down, but ehn her DP has gone away on hols AGAIN for 5 days (for about the 5th time this year), leaving her at home with DCs 1 and 2. Also had a visit from another friend last week who is due on 15th Nov. She is glowing and so I am hoping you are more like my friend than my neighbour. BTW you are all having girls!

MD - was so delightful to see DD2 (and you and DD1) on wed. Really wanted a cuddle of DD2 but didn't want to disturb her peaceful sleep. Hope things are settling down a bit at home.

BL - I was convinced that you were going in for an EVC on Fri. Oh well, at least time goes fastr when you havedates to aim for. All the best for Sept 1st.

Ei - We're really going to have to get together and do some kind of fertility dance thing! Will try to give more notice of when I next have a free house.

Am away in Paris this week, yes PARIS!! With DH... sans enfants!!!! Not as romantic as it sounds. DH will be working during the day but we are intending to do the Louvre, Eiffel Tour, Sacre Cour, Notre Dame, walks on the Left Bank, etc in the evenings. Don't know what I'm going to do with myself in the day...

Andy - hope you are doing OK. How did the christening go?

Ambi - are you ok? Are you back at work, remember you were saying it was retty iminent. If so, hope it is going ok.

SA2 - how is the painting going? At least you had some pretty good weather today.

Nemoandthefishes · 25/08/2008 11:21

Hi all
Jaamy enjoy paris!! very of all that free time and french pastries..mmmm

BLs also thought EVC was on friday but at least you know were you are now.

Browny you looked glowing to me in the park..very envious of your neat little bump

MD hope dd2 is sleeping a bit better and that GP has sorted out the enfamil for you!!

Stoppin how is the work going??

Ambi think you are back at work now, hope DD is behaving for you by the desk

Hope everyone else is well

We are in the throws of potty training C who is doing fab when bare bummed and in knickers, however if you throw trousers into the mix then lots of puddles ensue...doubly nice as we currently have a very basic loo and sink and no bath so off to PIL to bath them all tonight!!Am keeping fingers crossed that the new bath will show up tomorrow

browny · 25/08/2008 12:13

Jammy - have a wonderful time in Paris... your dh does a lot of air miles doesn't he?!! I've never been, but it looks amazing and so romantic .

Your poor neighbour, no wonder she is feeling depressed - think I'd kick him out.. fancy going on holiday without your wife and children . I'm fine, feeling a bit breathless now and had to take one of my rings off yesterday as my fingers looked like fat sausages! On a posiitive note, Dh took dd1 and dd2 to North Wales last night, they slept in the browny-mobile and are going to have a day in Towyn today, so I'll see them later.

Nemo, thank you for saying that I looked glowing, everyone just comments on the size of my bump.. "ooh, look at you now!" type of thing. Good luck with the potty training, I think she's doing amazingly well already - so well done you!!

Well, I'm off to have a shower, the weather looks lovely so far, have a lovely Bank Holiday everyone .

biglips · 25/08/2008 13:29

Have a nice bank holiday everyone!

Yes i thought i was having the EVC done friday gone but i got it mixed up...

The weather is fab today apart from the wind. Perfect day for my tons of washing!

Jaamy · 25/08/2008 23:11

Thanks everyone, or should I say "Merci toujours!". Will post when I get back. Hopefully will have some good news.

Browny - glad to hear you are glowing.

Nemo - tell DH I will be popping round to inspect bathroom when I get back. Ooooh, I'll be able to hear the language all the way from gay Paris!

Had loads of fun today, Superlambanana spotting and around Liverpool One and Albert Dock. DDs well and truly worn out. Bit of work to do now and then off to bed!

biglips · 26/08/2008 10:22

jaamy - have a GREAT time

Thanks BL - maybe you'll have some news when I get back?!

biglips · 26/08/2008 19:06

well just got back from seeing my midwife andi didnt realised that ive been suffering from heartburn....its mostly when im either lying on my left or right side so i gotta sit up and sleep! Got some Gavison here and ordered more!. the heartburn is vile! so hoping to have a good night sleep for a change without walking round my bedroom

OP posts:
QueenyEisGotTheBall · 27/08/2008 19:40

hi ladies
jaamy have a great time in paris
biglips i suffered with terrible heartburn when preg with DD and the best thing i found to help was sainsburys own ant-acid fruit flavoured tablets they were about £1 for 48 tablets and were amazing!! rather tasty too also pop a rolled up towel under the head end of the mattress on your side of the bed and it should prop you up enough without being too uncomfortable not long left now
nemo good luck with the potty training we are still trying with DD and she is slowly getting the hang of pulling her pants down before sitting on the potty we have cut the number of accidents by a huge amount and she been almost totally dry for 2 weeks now except at night as i dont want to tackle that one just yet
a big hello to everyone else
xx ei xx

biglips · 28/08/2008 18:23
