How about the Visitor Centre cafe in Rochester high street at 11am. It's very cheap and roomy for buggies etc!

What would be the easiest way to get to the visitors centre? I would love to join you but don't drive. Can get to Rochester by train from Chatham. I just need guidance from there.

Do you know the high street at all? Basically just walk down the high street, past the Charlotte and when you get to the Casino and the big car park on the left, it's a short stroll from there and is on the left hand side of the road. The footpath has a big "i" in it ("i" for Information) and it's right there. If you get lost, just ask a shopkeeper or something as they will deffo know where it is!

rgprgy isnt the visitors centre on the right if you walk down from the station?

you could walk from chatham high street? past argos etc, straight line, then hit the one and only street in rochester. past the yummy italian pizza place etc. is the visitor ctre child friendly as will have small running around one?

how old are everyone elses little one? am i the only one with a tot?

I would have loved to come (although I barely sit down for 2mins as dd1 is nearly 4 and dd2 is 18months and they normally run in the opposite directions) but am at work on riday

no worries, we can (and hopefully will) arrange another meet soon! Do you always work on a friday? I go back to work at the end of the month (sob!) so wont be able to make Thursdays and Fridays either from August!

yep mondays and fridays 9 to 51 (till next sept then God knows what happens as dd will start school full time and dd2 starts preschool 2 mornings a week)
