Meet-ups

When meeting up take sensible precautions. Meet in a public place and let others know where you are going.

CROYDON (and surrounding areas) It's nearly summer. Shall we meet up in a park? All welcome.

What do you think? Suggestions please..

When we last met we said a park would be better.

As in the title all welcome

mymblemummy · 08/07/2008 22:56

I've got a nine-year-old as well as an eight-month-old. I'm sure she would love to see someone near her own age at the August meet.

If you are a sling addict do you know about www.slingmeet.co.uk? It's invaluable for advice and tips. SE London would be nearest to you.

Hi Cruisemum1, we're away on the 25th so I'm keeping my fingers crossed for the next one.
My dd would love to chat. The only problem for your's would be getting a word in herself!
Have fun on Friday, everyone.

peachygirl · 24/07/2008 15:13

I'd like to come, but not sure if i'll be able to as we're supposed to be packing up the house for re wiring and haven't achieved nearly enough, so I'm not sure I can justify a trip to the park... if I achieve enough, maybe for an hour - lovely weather for it anyway

Amandoh · 25/07/2008 12:33

I'm so stupid! You're all in the park and I'm sat here because I forgot the meet up was today.

My son asked me on Wednesday if his friend could come over on Friday and I agreed as I'd forgotten we were meeting up so I can't even turn up late. I'm so disappointed.

Anyway, I hope you all have fun and I'll see you at the next one.

peachygirl · 26/07/2008 18:47

Hi All it was just me and splish splosh. I hope others weren't wandering round the park but we did wait at the gate until 12.20.

Hi Peachy, what a pity so many people couldn't make it.

Are you going to the NCT Croydon picnic on Wednesday, August 13?

It's in Coombe Wood!
