Hi, is there anyone from the Corby area of Northants? I saw a Northants topic but everyone was from Wellingborough, so I was wondering if there was anyone closer?

Im fine thanks, was nice to meet you too. Its no problem glad someone could get some use out of them some of them josh practically lived in but theres loads of wear in them still.

Hi, I can't believe it's still getting hotter, grr! Oscar is still hating the heat, and Lucy is more likely to have fits in the hot weather, so I have to be really careful with her too. We must be the only people not enjoying the weather!!
On the plus side, I put a skirt on the other day, which made me realise just how much weight I've put on, so I'm finally doing something about it. I joined weightwatchers, so no more takeaways and junk! I just hope it works!
What's everyone up to this week?

do you just take josh to the free playground part of Wicksteed or do you pay to go in properly? I've never been to the main bit, so I'm not sure if it's worth the money or not!

hey ah its a bit colder today isnt it me and logan have bin swimming today thou bin to massage and done some shopping to.

how cum lucy has fits?
i have only bin to the park bit in wickys and down the bottom to the lake. so not sure about the rest of it either.

What a lovely cool day, both kids have been good today

We don't know why Lucy has fits, she's still being tested. We should have an MRI done in the next few months which'll tell us more. She has to be watched in really hot weather because that's when they've always happened. She could be epileptic, but just don't know!

I think I'll stick to the free park til Oscar's older then.

hi im kinda ok logan is doin my head in he was up 11 times last nite!!!!!
im gettin so tired now this is 5 months that i have had to put up wiv this most babies sleep by the time they r 3 months. im lucky if he only wakes 3 times a nite. ITS DOIN MY HEAD IN! sory for the rant hope all is well wiv u do u wanna meet up soon

sounds like you needed to get that rant out, a child that never sleeps is so frustrating! If it makes you feel any better Oscar's been getting up at 3am for the last week, so I'm with you in the no sleep club!!
let me know when you're around, it'd be good to meet up again x

well will b in corby again next week. do urs like swimming? we could go there if u want i think oscar will get in for free!
uhhh kids they need ta realise we need sleep to!
evey one says to me sleep when baby sleeps huh yeah right how do i do tht if i do then no house work gets done and mum ends up gong mad!
did oscar sleep this morning?

Oscar slept til 4.50 this morning and that's good for him. He doesn't nap during the day much anymore, but even when he was a baby I never could sleep during the day, so I know how you feel!!
I can't go swimming cos there has to be one adult for each under 5 that you take in. I'll have to wait until she starts school before I can take him swimming!
Did Logan sleep any better last night? x

logan has sleept so much better last couple of nites thank god but his dad has got him today so am just sortin bits and bobs out. was just an idea had forgot that rule at swimmin oh well could go park again! or go to wickys.

I don't know what we can do! The weather isn't really looking good for anything outdoors! I usually just head to cheeky monkees in bad weather but Logan's a bit little for that.
I wonder what's happened to shelley? She hasn't been on in ages.

hello, sorry i havent been on couldnt find the thread . how are you both? Joshj and i are ok he saw his dad the other weekend and then we went to his nans and stayed there for a few days. Im tyring to get him to come down for fathers day which he isnt sure about because of his ex's two children and ot knowing if they want to see him.

hi shelley, glad you're both ok, was wondering where you'd got to! poor Josh, it's such a shame he's never his dad's first priority.
well, we haven't been up to much. Finally got Lucy's appointment through for her MRI so she's in kettering hospital first thing Wednesday morning to be sedated ready for the scan.
what's everyone up to this week?

Well i doi have a few tricks up my sleeve. Im pretty sure i can get him to come down that weekend. Im glad Lucy's appointment came through. Im going kids kingdom on saturday with an old friends and her son. Cant wait should be good.

Lucy's scan was so funny, they gave her sedative and it made her totally hyperactive! She was kicking and hitting, and then settled to singing before kicking again, but it certainly didnt get her close to sleep!! They had to give her two doses of anaesthetic in the end to knock her out for the MRI. We were stuck in the hospital all day though, so boring.

Have you had a good week? Now you're back Shelley it's Samie who's gone quiet, lol!

hi ya wow have bin all over the place last few weeks. have bin ill and diagnosed wiv hypothyriodism which is y i can shift the wieght bin to cornwall as well and internet went down again but we have had all new conections put in so hopefully that will work this time how r u both and kids xxx

Well im Sarah, im 20 and am currently 19 weeks pregnant as of today
I have few friends mainly through work, i work in Corby, but i dont have a social network, or someone who just wants to pop over for a coffee and chat.
Would love to meet others in similar situations, mums, mums to be, etc
