Damn and blast, locked out of the old one already. Someone put a link on it...please?

OP posts:
HollyBerrie · 29/12/2007 20:41

I'm locked out too!

HollyBerrie · 29/12/2007 20:42

Mmmm not alphabetical...any reasons for the name order?

LyraSilvertinsel · 29/12/2007 20:42

Nope, just random.

OP posts:
HollyBerrie · 29/12/2007 20:43

Bbolz...

LyraSilvertinsel · 29/12/2007 20:44

It's almost alphabetical.

Bet I get Lee dreams tonight.
I had Lee dreams after the Maria Joseph show and Lee and Lewis were in a documentary about the show and Lee was really pissed off at Lewis and called him a 'plonker'. It was the best he could come up with as an insult...

HollyBerrie · 29/12/2007 20:46

It was...it was 'very surreal!'

HollyBerrie · 29/12/2007 20:46

...

HollyBerrie · 29/12/2007 20:48

I loved the bit where ALW was conducting behind the conductor then got cross with him! Can you imagine how that must have felt and feels now to see it on TV?

LyraSilvertinsel · 29/12/2007 20:53

He's a bad tempered old fart really, is ALW.
I have to say I'm now thinking Lee's a little...odd looking . Great from the eyes up but not sure about the mouth, especially those teeth.
Sorry gals.
I hope Oggs realises we've moved...

OP posts:
HollyBerrie · 29/12/2007 20:57

It always the same with Lee...one has to sometimes close eyes tightly and shout La la la to preserve the fantasy I find

Oggs will find us I'm sure.

HollyBerrie · 29/12/2007 20:58

I never did like the way he hopped off stage and the way he says Josssssefffs.

LyraSilvertinsel · 29/12/2007 21:03

We're far too critical.

OP posts:
binklebells · 29/12/2007 22:34

I have to say...I'm starting to wane towards Lee's looks as well too at the moment...perhaps we have been overexposed to him of late what with all these christmas specials etc

However, I'm sure it will all wash over me again once I am amongst like-minded folk in his actual presence

So, what are your plans for New Year's Eve? We have got precisely nothing to do as yet - I was supposed to book something a few weeks ago but didnt because I was poorly and of course dh, (the lazy git!) didnt think to do it for me so we have nothing arranged at all. We have got a party invite but I'm not overly fond of house parties in general and not really New Year ones.

oggsfrog · 30/12/2007 10:02

Morning

Thanks Lyra. I did manage to catch snippets of the Maria/Joseph thingy so unless you think I may have missed some brilliant bits , I don't think you need to send it.
Comments on it - Connie has a fantastic voice, and seems to be a thoroughly nice/cheerful person . Simona is still annoying . Denise Van Outen actually has a brilliant voice . I still don't like Craig . Lee's voice is very up and down.. sometimes he doesn't quite seem to hit it. He has a perfectly acceptable voice but it only seems to show depth and come alive when he's belting them out. Also the high end of the range doesn't do anything for me.... I like the deep, rich end better .

I'm hoping that my Mum will have taped Lee's story for me, albeit missing the beginning ten mins

I think I too may be suffering from Lee fatigue .
Tbh I think it's only to be expected. That's what got us together, and that's the common thread running through the the thread (if you see what I mean), but we have evolved and although that was the initial focus, it's not that important now.
What is important to me is that I've made 4 brilliant virtual (soon to become RL) friends .

HollyBerrie · 30/12/2007 10:16

Morning all.

Poor Lee

I'm not fussed about New Year's Eve. In fact I belive we went to bed at 10 ish last year as I remember fireworks waking me up! (I know you will hardly be able to belive this of me)

HollyBerrie · 30/12/2007 10:18

I thought Connie showed Lee up too.

oggsfrog · 30/12/2007 10:29

I'm with you on this one Berrie. New Year's Eve is no different a night than any other chez oggsfrog. We've never really gone in for it.
I always forget that both the 1st and 2nd Jan are public holidays up here in Scotland.

HollyBerrie · 30/12/2007 10:53

Now the last night in January...that's a different matter! [fgin]

LyraSilvertinsel · 30/12/2007 10:54

I thought you Scots were really big on new year (I'm assuming you're Scottish but as your parents are in England I'm not so sure).
We'll be staying in with a bottle of bubbly as usual. probably watch some crap on telly or play a board game. I can hardly bear the excitement
All that you've said is true oggs and I'm also glad to have made four good friends I chat to you lot more than some of my rl friends. Looking forward to meeting in January (though still slightly nervous).

Oops freudian slip...the damson gin going down rather nicely these last few nights...there is a bottle wrapped up for my friend under the tree...am considering opening it and swapping it for socks instead....he is a catholic Priest and shouldn't be drinking gin really I'm sure!

LyraSilvertinsel · 30/12/2007 10:55

Don't start drinking it now, Berrie. Tis a little early

OP posts:
HollyBerrie · 30/12/2007 10:59

Lyra it's more scary for me and Oggs, if we are hateful nutters you can go home, Binkle visits all the time and Zeb also has a bolthole...imagine how we feel!

HollyBerrie · 30/12/2007 11:01

As if I would enjoying my 3rd mug of let's try and get going after the night before coffee!
