I'm in Leicester but I don't drive, so I'm quite limited in where I can get to by public transport with DS (11m) in tow.

choufleur · 04/08/2007 12:11

`Abbey park makes a nice day out, and there is a bus from near the Haymarket

choufleur · 05/08/2007 13:19

yes - my ds loves it there so many ducks, geese etc. how convenient is it for everyone to get there?

OP posts:
bonkerz · 05/08/2007 13:44

where is abbey park?

NineUnlikelyTales · 05/08/2007 14:02

I've never been there (I'm quite new to Leicester) but if there's a bus I can get there - it sounds good to me.

tigerschick · 05/08/2007 14:18

Hi - I'm another Leicestershire poster, can I join you all?

Abbey park sounds nice, never been myself but would like an excuse to go
Found this I think it gives location and directions.

choufleur · 05/08/2007 14:40

there's loads of parking too if people are driving and a little 'zoo' with rabbits, guinea pigs, goats etc.

EscapeFrom · 05/08/2007 16:18
