Yorkshire summer meet up!

Any one fancy big picnic type meet up? Cannon Hall perhaps? Shall we throw some ideas about?

Here's mine - Cannon Hall, once school breaks up but before 18th August! Any weekeday fine for me in hols!

Phoenix/Gingermonkey etc- stop swearing or using " distasteful" language on your thread as my school system won't let me on because of it!!

HI everyone I am new here.Been reading throughout pregnancy DD now 4 and a half months.Would love to meet up with others.I am in south yorkshire.dont know how to add name to list.Saw the suggestion for cannon hall. Sister took me few weeks ago its brilliant for the kids. Would try anywhere.Will bring my brolly!!!

I've got rid of weds 25th option coz noone wanted it anyway! It looks like monday 30th will be the definate date, (which I am pushing for because I can't make the fri thanks to BIL and his birthday).
Bet, I do really like them, I am of crafty types who have clever ideas, in my head I am one of those people but in reality it is so much different. (Although in my head I can dance like Michael Jackson, and sing like Mariah Carey and I know that they are figments of my imagination!!!!!)

no1putsbabyetc - we are meeting up at roundhay park in Leeds, just copy the list on my post below and add your name to your preferred date. Closing date for votes is this evening (although it looks like it will be the monday). If you can't figure it out, just post what day you prefer and I'll re-do the list . And Cannon Hall is fab, isn't it, I love it there.

at least if it does rain we can go to tropical world and I can get a panic on as a butterfly flies in my face (it's quite funny watching the fear on my face!). But it won't rain, it will be glorious sunshine (GM has fingers, toes, arms, legs, and every other body part crossed!!! )

Hmm can't really answer for where I'll be living soon but given that until we work that part out I'll be about 5 mins walk from Roundhay I'll put my name down!

Where abouts are we meeting at Roundhay on the 30th? And is there a password/sign/buttonhole to differentiate MNers from the general public???

If anyone needs a lift from a Wetherby direction, I have space for 4...

Emmylou. I think we should probably meet by tropical world, but if anyone who is actually from Leeds has a better idea please say so - I'm from Wakey so I'm not that sure of my bearings! We will need to differentiate ourselves from the rest of the world, does anyone have any suggestions? I am a bit of a wuss and won't approach anyone and will run away scared

When I met up with Squonk and Hairybabysmum we described our buggies to each other for recognition purposes. May not work with a larger number though, unless we have encyclopaedic memories for buggies (like some people seem to for cars).

Now that is a good plan. Unless everyone has a black Maclaren (because they are common as muck here ). I saw someone with a fab buggy the other day, it was a maclaren type of thing but looked like cath kidston vintage cowboys. I was in love with it. Does it really exist, or was she just one of those damn crafty types that had created a fancy buggy cover???????
