Any one fancy big picnic type meet up? Cannon Hall perhaps? Shall we throw some ideas about?

Here's mine - Cannon Hall, once school breaks up but before 18th August! Any weekeday fine for me in hols!

Phoenix/Gingermonkey etc- stop swearing or using " distasteful" language on your thread as my school system won't let me on because of it!!

Oh my poor neglected children DS1 just threw himself on the floor so that you would pity him and his brother and feed them both

Would be up for a Harrogate meet - if it's after the summer hols please could it be Thursday or Friday? In case there is absolutely anyone who doesn't know, I'm going part time again in September

Was also thinking, even though it's ages away, maybe we should think about a Christmas night out?

that poor boy of sarahhal's - she never feeds him (clearly, he's a right bag of bones ). She'll come sniffing me out now and tell me off

I'll email you J20, and FMV, get organising (although I am crap at getting round Harrogate). I am rubbish and beyond rubbish at organising so I was quietly proud of myself >

Harrogatemum - I'd blame that Betty woman...

What a lovely day, thanks GM for organising it It was fab to meet you all!
DS wants me to organise one in harrogate now(PMSL, I can't organise a proverbial in a brewery)as he enjoyed himself so much.

I want your all your toddlers [mad-eyed, drooly emoticom] as they were all adorable. And I'm sure Sarahalal's poor wee one is obviously neglected, with all that begging for our left over crisps....

And well done to Squonk and J20baby for travvelling all that way

Thanks J20 for the recipe, I've got a party to go on saturday so I think I'll make it for then (and impress everyone!)

I'm really sorry you got lost again, Leeds is a nightmare to drive round and I noticed yesterday it isn't well signposted at all. If you fancy meeting up before the end of the school hols, I can come over to Hull with DH when he goes to work. That way neither of us gets lost

DS woke up this morning with his usual coloured face, so that was good!

Soooooo, when's the next meet up?

well...........i'm back home! went the way you told ne to GM, and then promptly got lost again! drove round Leeds for nearly an hour, until i stopped at a B&Q to ask and they sent me one way but there was still no signs and ended up on a motorway with nowhere to pull off and promptly burst into tears, drove for about 5 mins like this looking for somewhere to pull off and then saw the sigh for Hull, which made me cry more with relief traffic wasn't great on the way home, so didn't get back to Hull till 6. have now sat down to have a glass of wine, i need it!

anyway it was lovely to meet you all, sorry for making our dinnertime late, please please please can we go somewhere other than Leeds next time?

Gm, my dd thought your dd was great too, bless at ringing her dad, i thought your DS was very funny, poor thing getting sunburnt.

i got a few pictures, so will let you all know when they are developed and email them to you all

Awww..a nice peaceful journey home!

It was lovely to see everyone today. Dd had a brilliant time, and hasn't stopped talking about climbing trees with her new friends!

We both had a great time, hope we can organise another yorkshire meet-up!!

Great to see you all today. Hope you all had fun later on! Both DSes were asleep within a minute of setting off - could feel that if we had stayed a moment longerthey would have both gone bonkers with tiredness!!

Oh, poor you! Hope you are feeling better soon

I had a really good day today and it was lovely to meet everyone.
J20, did you get back ok? I realised once I got to the clock tower that there was no sign for motorways or city centre and had a panic you were lost in Leeds again. Next time we'll pick somewhere easier. , oh, and my DD thinks yours is great and phoned her dad to tell him!

DS managed to get a pink face despite being coated in factor 50 (ginger skin- it's a nightmare!) and he slept from the moment we left until 5.45 so I don't think I am going to get him in bed for hours!

I hope everyone else had fun too!

Oh God, am sending my belated apologies as have stinking cold and baby with sickness and diarrhoea; only just managed to get back on computer.
I think if I had tried to come you would be writing AIBU threads about me....'Am I being unreasonable to think that a mother with a baby who projectile vomits should stay at home rather than coming to the meet up and soaking all our summer dresses with sick?'

Hope you are all having fun in the sun - so glad weather is good
