helloooooooo feeling much better thanks, currently watching trial and retribution. I'm glad you've noticed how wise I am Gypsy Rose monkey that's me!!! Was Gypsy Rose Lee a fortune teller or stripper ?? oh well anything to make a few pounds. Right back to it.

gingermonkey · 13/02/2007 10:45

I feel poorly now. Think my monkey has passed some germs on because he seems much better today. Glad you're feeling better, wisemonkey - did you waft your germs over the fields to mine? It's nice to share (I tell DD all the time!)
Stinky, we are going to leapfrogs in the morning, 10 or 10.30 and I am in the gym at 1pm (didn't go last week, should make the effort before it all slides southwards!) so I'll miss you. Is everyone still on for the 23rd though?

thethirdwisemonkey · 13/02/2007 13:55

poor monkey, it could well be my germs I coughed in the garden last night. Hope you're soon feeling better

Hanlou007 · 13/02/2007 18:48

I am off to Cannon Hall Farm in the morning if anyone fancys it?

Hope you monkeys are feeling better

sarahhal · 13/02/2007 19:33

Been to consultant today. He really needs video footage of any of his does, so our home will be a bit like Big Brother for a while trying to catch him in action. He is booking him in for an EEG (scared face) which may or may not show up anything.

He's fine in himself so I must stay positive.

Am def still up for 23rd.

gingermonkey · 13/02/2007 19:58

Poor little thing. You must be really worried. My friend's daughter had fits and 'episodes' as the docs called them when she was about 4 or a bit younger. She had some very serious ones. She had all sorts of tests inc. the one where they put electrodes on your head (EEG???) and a MRI scan. Both showed nothing up and now (7 yrs) she's fine and dandy and has been ever since she had the tests. Actually, one of my neighbours kids was the same. He'd pass out whenever he got upset and would have epilectic type fits most days. He's had the scary tests too but is also fine (he's also 7). Hope that makes you feel a bit better, you're not alone, and in my experience the kids have turned out absolutely normal and fine, no probs at all. The human body is a very weird thing.
hanlou I'm going out for lunch tomorrow with hubby to look at handbags otherwise I would have loved to come to Cannon Hall (I love those little goats best)

sarahhal · 13/02/2007 21:41

Thanks for the reassurance Ginger.

Husband & Handbags Is this your Valentine Day treat You know what I'm getting? A curry from the Aagrah rather than the usual New Paradise at Lepton.

Oh how the other half live

PS Isn't Louis himself making a personal visit chez Les Gingers to his most valued clients?

gingermonkey · 14/02/2007 07:48

lol sarah. I don't do Valentine's day so poor DH didn't get a card or anything! He knows he's a lucky boy to have me! It's just a normal wednesday for me today, the monkey goes to nursery so DH and me go for lunch (and to look at handbags!!!!)he likes to look at handbags as much as me (big girl's blouse!).Have a good time at the Aagrah - don't eat too much. I ate far too much at Ballooshai on friday and felt awful saturday! (have you been there?, it's very nice)

sarahhal · 14/02/2007 08:27

Ginger - not even going to the Aagraah - it's a takeaway!! We don't really do Valentine's Day either and I haven't got him a card!

gingermonkey · 14/02/2007 09:09

DH knows he has to show me how much he loves me every day and if he ever has to save it up for a Hallmark occasion we are in trouble . MIL will be getting upset today because FIL is in Milan so I hope he's sent her some flowers, otherwise there'll be trouble at mill later! hee hee hee. Have a good day at school sarah, keep those kids in check! I'll say hello to Monsignor Vuitton for you when he pops round later for a cup of tea!

thethirdwisemonkey · 14/02/2007 14:15

Ahhhhhhhhhhh the day of lurve......... even though you don't do it you misbos, happy valentines day dh is in my all round top bloke book. We buy each other a gift for less than a fiver. He bought me a Florence (off the Magic Roundabout) bell for my bike - real 1970s one, cos I said I'd had one when I was a little girl and really loved it - bless him. I bought him a giant box of jelly beans and pontefract cakes from the Haribo shop and made him and ds a valentines card. Love is in the air However we are having a posh diiner a deux at home Saturday night cos he had to drive my mum home this evening.

sarahhal · 14/02/2007 15:53

When the wiseone says it's a bell for her bike, we all know she really mean her scooter don't we!!!

gingermonkey · 14/02/2007 17:25

brriiinngg bbbrriiinngg - watch out, here comes wisemonkey on her scooter!!!!! Are you and your preggers mate coming to Leapfrogs tomorrow Monkey? 10/10.30 if you can make it. My SIL is coming too to bring her baby (who cries at noise) along to try and get the wuss scared out of him . I saw a luverly handbag today!!!!

thethirdwisemonkey · 14/02/2007 17:56

I have an air horn for my scooter. Don't know if we're coming yet my mate is soooo last minute. Will let you know as soon as I do.....
I bet you spent a squillion quid on a handbag didn't you gingerwe all know you really have a tartan shopping trolley off Dewsbury market

gingermonkey · 14/02/2007 18:54

I want a shopping trolley!, now do they have them in Harvey Nichols????? I remember (not so long ago) when yummy mummy types in Notting Hill and Primose Hill had those shopping trolleys, well fancier ones but the same thing. I suppose you could put the kids in if they got a bit tired. And obviously the organic stuff you've bought from Fresh and Wild...
I didn't buy any handbags today actually, aren't I good? (put it away til friday and DH is going back to get it then tho, hee hee hee!) I wonder if that rehab place Robbie Williams is in has a handbag addiction programme? I am beginning to realise I have a problem.

sarahhal · 14/02/2007 19:45

Now I can quite see myself in Hebden Bridge with a Cath Kidston shopping trolley ...... Nah, make that a tye dyed one!!

gingermonkey · 14/02/2007 20:15

Ooh, I love Kath Kidston (but DH is not keen, turns his nose up at it for being twee). I drool over the catalogue imagining I am some kind of super mum that can bake amazing cakes and darn socks (I'd love to be able to darn socks!)

gingermonkey · 14/02/2007 20:16

cath Kidston

gingermonkey · 14/02/2007 20:16

oh bloody hell - Cath with a capital C you dumb monkey!!!!!

PhoenixGirl · 14/02/2007 20:24

here she goes again imagining she can do anything

gingermonkey · 14/02/2007 20:40

I know, it's starting to become a problem, isn't it? - you should have seen me the other day I made shortbread whilst squawking out 'to the left, to the left, everything you own in a box to the left' and doing Beyonce actions too. I'm glad my neighbours can't see me...it would be very embarressing (and the shortbread was bloody awful too!!!)

thethirdwisemonkey · 14/02/2007 21:00

You are a posh bird and a mad one Anyhoo, sorry won't be coming tomorrow. We're taking the little monkeys to the YSP to do some brass rubbing and nature sketches, did I mention we are VERY artistic?? Actually, we're taking them out in their waterproofs so they can roll around in the mud and poke each other with twigs

thethirdwisemonkey · 14/02/2007 21:00

PS SarahHal wears Cath Kidston pants and uses Cath Kidston loo roll

Hanlou007 · 14/02/2007 21:08

HAd a great time at Cannon Hall....Elizabeth was running around shouting ducks ha ha quack quack..She was very excited
