We seem to have 2 running so i started this one to arrange a meet in Feb school hols

I went to bed really excited that I was going to be able to make snowmen and have a snowball fight today (which DH started last night at 9pm until I told him off and sent him indoors) and then I woke up to rain and slush. I am very sad today but hopefully it will snow later and I can go and play. monkey did you get my email? Do you fancy coming out to play on thursday morning at leapfrogs? R u coming phoenix? I've (surprise, surprise) got ironing to do now. There's a running theme to my weekends......

Wisemonkey - hope you all ok and snottymonkey is feeling better. Can you e mail me Hannah's e mail address - our hard drive died and since it's been replaced I have lost all my addresses. She mailed me ages ago and haven't been able to reply!! OOh, by the way, I read the latest OFSTED report of our playgroup and it sounds like it may be improving .. yeah, there's hope yet!!!

sarah, the slush is crap and has made me very grumpy!!! It looked so lovely last night when I went to bed and saw the fields out of the one small window where we have a view (despite being slightly blocked by the hideous new 'extension' next door have had botched on to the back of their house).
I'm definately still on for the 23rd. I'm looking forward to it. A walk for Maude at the YSP sounds like a very good idea, do we need to ask permission from the park? Have a good rest of the day (in the rain!)

Hello, hello, I did get your email oh ginger one, I know what you mean about the crap weather. It was so gorgeous at about 11.30pm last night I wanted to get ds out of bed and make him come and play in the garden, wish I had cos it's all gone and we didn't get a chance to play in it Were you still up? you should have come round for a snowball fight .
I vaguely arranged to meet a friend on Thursday that I haven't seen for ages, I'll see if she wants to go to Leapfrogs - will have to think of a monkey name for her!!!
Sarah - I've emailed you Hannahs email address, say hello from me, I haven't seen her for ages.
Ginger - I'm very impressed with your domestic goddess act, I've just cleaned the kitchen and done a stack of washing. I will now reward myself with doing my assignment and putting my portfolio together - how poncey does that sound???

Monkey, we drove through Flockton at about 9pm last night on our way back from Hudds. I kept my eye out for a wise looking marmoset throwing snowballs, but I didn't spot you, would have stopped and joined in I fell asleep on the sofa at 10.30 last night whilst watching Law and Order. It was too much going out and having a curry and 2 kingfisher beers, that much excitement doesn't happen often. Fortunately I made up for it today by doing the ironing and some more washing - I only have one load left to do and the basket will be empty!!! (til tomorrow) Drag your friend along thurs, you know she wants to be part of the monkey gang!!!!

Oh, I saw the red bum but thought that couldn't be you! Didn't think it would be your DH or sarah. Silly me, I should have thrown a snow ball at it, it was like a big target!!!!

A bit stressed here at the mo as DS being really "jerky" when he goes to sleep and I think he's having some "absences" Waiting for consultant to call back on Monday

However, just getting ready for a night out in Hudds! Only a last bus type night but no doubt I'll overdo it as usual

DD is really jerky in her sleep , she is fine (well, she's a monkey child so she's not fine but kind of alright!!!) In fact if you watch her in her sleep she's really quite scarey (and always has been). DH kicks his legs in his sleep, he says he's playing football...bless.

Well dh is off so we're going somewhere, maybe meadowhall or junction 32 (freeport) looking rather than shopping then i'm going to my friends in the afternoon

Very nice. I need to go to Meadowhell at some point soon, but the monkey hates it. He creates when we get there until we get in the car to go home. He likes Leeds though (and has taken a fancy to a girl in the Louis Vuitton shop, he clings on to her legs and won't let go - silly boy!)

Louis Vuitton? I can't afford to look at it never mind go in lol.

I don't shop in Leeds now and have only ever been when my grandma used to drag me along when i was little.

But saying that i'm not really a shopper unlike you i just like to go grab what i want and go.

LOL! I am a bit of a crazed shopper. Poor DD gets very annoyed by being dragged round the shops whenever we get half a chance. I'm sure she'll grow into it though, she's asked me for the devil wears prada dvd so she's a shopper in training! DH is just as bad as me (but he's great at presents!!! ). I am sorry to say I have a louis vuitton addiction and it's a bit embarressing when they actually know you in the shop and you can see them rubbing their hands when I walk in thinking 'oooh here comes that silly woman with too much time on her hands and an itchy credit card!!!' . Oh, csi is on, I'll be back in an hour.......

Gary took me to the Pennines between melthem and holmfirth because i was soooo upset about the snow this morning.
It was so pretty even if it got a bit foggy and scary at one point.

I still havent got round to the house work. Got this bloody bug again and feel really rough. I am not a happy bunny.

Evening Hanlou, I was GUTTED this morning and am even more annoyed tonight because I was sure it would snow all day today and I could play out. You and your family are a right sickly bunch at the minute, aren't you??? Get some medised down you, it works wonders!

Hey Hanlou, I'm surprised you didn't see us, dh took us to Holme Moss so we could stare at the snow in the fog, there were loads of people sledging, fab!!!!

So I got to sit at my MIL's and eat a crappy ham sandwich whilst everyone else had fun looking at snow up on the hills. I'm going to sulk now....
