I am moving to Wroughton next month and am trying to find out what goes on when and where for little ones. I have two sons, one just over 2.5 years and the other is 2 months old.

I am interested in activities to do with either boys during term time. I am also interested in postnatal exercise and meeting other mums in the area.

Hi SAHMof1,

That is strange, I just checked the email and I think I did it right, anyway, I am going to try again. I spoke to Jacky Thomas the other day, unfortunately I couldn't make last Sunday as I was at the NCT sale in Marlborough.

Hopefuly the email will work this time!

Sn4ho - lovely to meet you at KID-EX. Even DH was impressed with all the stalls (he normally does a very good Victor Meldrew impression at these things )

SAHMof1 - were you on the washable nappy stand? If so, we chatted for a while - I was raving about bamboo nappies

Steppy1 · 05/10/2006 19:09

...was the KID-ex exhibition better than the one earlier in September ???? PP, sorry that you couldn't make it, we had a really great night...Am out with a few ladies tomorrow night for a sort of leaving party...there's 15 (??!!) I think, we're meeting at McKenzies in Old Town (god Forbid !!) then going into Marios fo something to eat afterwards...Can't believe that we'll actually be moved in 2 weeks....time is passing so quickly !!!!! Hope you're all well !!

Hello, I have just signed on to this site, so it is all new to me.

I live in wroughton and was wandering if there are any meetings where I can meet mums/mums to be.

I am expecting our first baby in March.

sn4ho · 14/01/2007 17:57

Hi Firstone

I live in Wootton Bassett and am a consultant for Truly Madly Baby- I recently visited a mums and toddler group in Wroughton to display my products and was really struck by how friendly and relaxed the atmosphere was.
I visit alot of groups with my work and really was impressed with it.

It's called Little Lambs and meets on Wednesday 10 - 11.30 at the Ellendune community hall.
The leader is called Alison and she's lovely. There were plenty of babies and some pregnant mum's too so it could be worth a go.
Good luck with it and your pregnancy too!

Hi Sn4ho

Its nice to know there are meetings like around the village, was getting a little worried that there wasnt any.

There?s also a real nappy network lady in Wroughton (Locks ? who started this thread) if you were interested in finding out about the different types etc. She has a trial kit to for a ?try before you buy? scheme.

Hi

This is my fisrt time on mums net so hello.
I live in swindon and have 2 children maxwell and milie and i have just given up my job to start a company promoting natural skin care mainly for mother and babies. I am looking for groups to attend to talk about the products and to help make mums aware of all the nasties used in babycare. I would love to hear from anyone who could help, or even anyone interested in a coffee morning and I'll bring lots if gorgeous products along!

Locks · 16/06/2008 19:37

It's been a while since I visited this thread (I started it off almost 2 years ago!)

Millieboo, can you email me about your products - go to my website www.wiltshirenappies.co.uk You may be the sort of person we would be interested in having along to our parent groups. We initially started them up to show nappies, but now want to expand into other areas that parents may be interested in.

Thanks

I have just moved to Wroughton from Upper Stratton, so if anyone fancied a meet up or could suggest things or activities to do, I would be very grateful. My DC are DD-12, DD-2 and DS-1, there is 10 months between the younger two DC. I am a SAHM.
