Just had a quick look on the Godstone Farm Web Site to see what their definition of a group is. I think we would qualify, but they ask that groups book in advance as they limit numbers.

I'm quite happy to give them a ring on Monday, but I don't want to tread on anyones toes, Stressyhead - what do you want to do?

Also I've been trying to persuade my BF to try Mumsnet for a while, so I might be dragging her down as well She's got 3 (10,5 and 2)

bossykate · 31/01/2004 11:41

ooh, when are you going? went to godstone recently, it's great.

lydialemon · 31/01/2004 11:45

Next Saturday, possibly at around 1pm - we haven't got anymore definite than that!

bossykate · 31/01/2004 12:41

sorry won't be able to make that. have fun!

I'll pay ours separtately Stressy, just in case Dh can't change his shift, should find out soon.

pie · 31/01/2004 20:21

Hi Stressy, if you do book in advance please don't count my DD1, I'm 99% sure I'm coming, but SPD has a habit of biting me on the bum (or pelvis) so I'm incredibly paranoid. I have told DD1 about the farm though and I never tell her about something in advance unless we are doing it. But just in case! Mind you I could always drug myself up to the eyeballs, but you'd all think I was drunk

emmatmg · 01/02/2004 07:27

Hoooooo-Rahhhhhhh!
Dh has managed to change his start time so I will definatley be there.

I am sooooooooo looking forward to it and finally meeting another, well quite a few actually, Mumsnetter.

I'll probably be there abit earlier than 1:30 as DS3 has his lunch around then so I'll be there to do that. I might be inside the playbarn if he's 'lunching'.

Descriptions- 5'4" shoulder length browny/hi-lighted hair. Blue jeans and a green parker style coat. DS1 is nearly 5, DS2 is 2.5(both will have navy parker coats) and DS3 is 4 months so I'll be the one looking tired and shouting alot

lydialemon · 01/02/2004 18:41

Not sure which meet-up time I'll make, but I'll try for the lunch one.

I'm 5'11, definitely not slim, with red hair (not natural I'm afraid!) I'll more than likely be wearing black. DSs are noisy with 'action man' hair and DD will be in a Graco Buggy lined with a sheepskin wearing a lilac snowsuit!

I'll probably be looking lost and terrified! (Unless accompanied by BF, but she's not confirmed yet)

150percent · 01/02/2004 18:44

I've been to another internet meet-up there where we tied a helium balloon to the buggy (mind you this was in summer!). Seemed to work quite well as there are still a few birthday parties at Godstone Farm at the weekends.

lydialemon · 01/02/2004 18:49

We could all wear stickers with winking smiley faces on them!?

emmatmg · 01/02/2004 19:21

Just something else to add to my description.

The Pram.......my god.....you certainly won't miss it! it's a mamas and papas bright blue(with orange and green!!!!!!) checked one. Was DS1's as a baby so certainly not like the lovely neutral one nowadays. Buggyboard attached too.

Can't wait now
