hesketh park in southport has a good play area but the cafe is awful so picnics would be good. i know formby well, grew up there!.

Well done Lucykate! I'm in North Lancs - near Lancaster - so nowhere near any of you! What about Preston - might that be a reasonably central meeting point?

Im in liverpool but always willing to do meet ups especially as lancs are not that far in the car. Have also been on the stockport meet ups.

Yes, the park and cafe is a popular place for mums to meet. Nice views too.
