Ah, suspect am quite far from you, in Stockport! Grin

ItalianJob · 17/04/2006 11:39

southport, wigan or ormskirk would be an easy train ride from Liverpool for me :)

Janh · 17/04/2006 11:53

Southport would be a nice day out - or Formby (red squirrels) if the weather happened to be good.

I'm in E Lancs - practically Yorkshire Shock

lucykate · 17/04/2006 11:59

hesketh park in southport has a good play area but the cafe is awful so picnics would be good. i know formby well, grew up there!.

Well done Lucykate! I'm in North Lancs - near Lancaster - so nowhere near any of you! What about Preston - might that be a reasonably central meeting point?

granarybeck · 17/04/2006 20:46

i'm in oldham, poor me!

Nemo1977 · 17/04/2006 20:53

Im in liverpool but always willing to do meet ups especially as lancs are not that far in the car. Have also been on the stockport meet ups.

ItalianJob · 17/04/2006 20:54

me and Nemo will crash any meet-up that can remotely be described as North-West Grin

chocolateshoes · 17/04/2006 21:00

Good to see so many up for a get together!

Racers · 17/04/2006 21:03

I'm also in Lancaster! I'm going back to work soon but only part-time, so might be able to join in Grin

chocolateshoes · 17/04/2006 21:28

Racers · 17/04/2006 21:29

mrsdarcy · 17/04/2006 21:35

Janh · 17/04/2006 21:52

How about \link{http://www.williamsonpark.com/\Williamson Park} then? Lovely place, lots to do and we've had meetups at Grizedale twice so Lancaster would be a doddle Smile

Racers · 17/04/2006 21:54

Wow, how exciting - possible meet up in my home town (adopted home town, I should say).

Yes, the park and cafe is a popular place for mums to meet. Nice views too.

Racers · 17/04/2006 21:55

AND they've been building some new play areas, but I'm not sure if they're open yet. Looks good, though DD (10m) is too young atm!

gigglinggoblin · 17/04/2006 22:00

oooh, never been to a meetup before, am all excited!

will now be wandering round town looking at people funny wondering if they are mnetters
