inspired by chocolateshoes comment in another thread, there do seem to be quite a few mnetters in lancs.

dare we attempt a meet up?

my car is still in the garage half fixed but apparently the wheel bearings have now gone and are being ordered!!!

Almost immediately after I posted to say I was coming I posted to say that I couldn't as I'm on a training course at work. Normally Thursdays are fine for me and looking at the weather I know what I'd rather be doing!

omg this has totally crept up on me for some reason!

i can still go, and not fussy about time as i am in lancaster. have to collect the older kids from school at 3 but am otherwise free

no problem, i will take ds to run around on the playground for a bit then wander up to the cafe. maybe its a daft question, but how do you know who is who? i dont want to go round asking random people if their name is racers and are they meeting a goblin im the very blonde one with the almost 2yo boy with slightly mad hair incase that helps

I've just about got over the disappointment of Monday night thanks racers. Took ds (4) with me and he sobbed when the second goal went in bless his heart. I tried to explain that after 25 years of disappointment you kind of get immune to it! Then I burst into tears myself!!

Did you meet up today? Weather was scorching. If another meet up happens count me in. My course wasn't exactly inspiring!

i thought of you all today as the weathers been so nice, me, sat at home, knee deep in snotty tissues

(am feeling a bit better this evening, eating ice cream to soothe my throat )
