Dear all,
as there seem to be a group of us, would you like to meet up? Maybe in the new year?
I'm in Heaton in Newcastle.
Miranda.

I will try to make it too. Ti Amo is on Goldspink Lane. It is very child friendly but doesn't take bookings--it is more of a cafe than a restaurant really. If there are a lot of us that might be a problem. It is right opposite another restaurant, Zonzo, which is a bit bigger and a bit more expensive, and not quite as child friendly though not anti-child IYKWIM. We could aim for Ti Amo but transfer to Zonzo if we didn't all fit? Or is that too confusing?

What time? If we arrive for an early lunch we can bag all the tables ...

Lets go for early then! Are we taking kids or not - I know some people were going for not earlier in the thread? How about 12?

I would love to meet you all and have had this on the calendar for ages, but I'm afraid I've had to arrange something else on that day (busy friends I have!). I might be able to pop in early on but otherwise I'll see you at the next meet....

Im leaning towards no kids so that I can have a drink and chat without being vommited on or continually interrupted!! If everyone else is bringing kids though Ill bring mine along too

I won't bring mine as I wouldn't get to talk to any of you (and anyway I deserve a kid free couple of hours.......)Don't mind at all if anyone else brings theirs though.

Report
miranda2 · 17/02/2004 09:18

fine, I'll leave ds at home with dh - agree it will be much more relaxing!! Again, don't mind if anyone else wants to bring theirs along.
