Dear all,
as there seem to be a group of us, would you like to meet up? Maybe in the new year?
I'm in Heaton in Newcastle.
Miranda.

hello all

Just spotted this thread. If you get togethers are still ongoing, please let me know (I am a new mum whose family does not live locally so any new contacts would be great).

Thanks

Great to meet you all and put faces to names!
Honeysuckle - sorry that you were sat right next to me and Becca! We should have had a 'sign' or something LOL!

Sorry that I didn't get a chance to chat properly with everyone.....had to make sure that DS was entertained or he would have wanted to walk around much much earlier than he did! He fell asleep on the way home and slept until I woke him at 4:30!!

Lovely to meet you all - let's arrange something else and pray for sunshine!!

hello again all - first one here tonight - the young fella must have been worn out - so much socialising in one day! It was really nice to meet everyone. Sorry should have checked to give description beforehand as you asked Popsy, then I wouldn't have been sitting opposite you both thinking, are they or aren't they?!
Hopefully the sun will shine next time we all meet and babies, toddlers can crawl, walk, run etc.

miranda/elliott--would you like a lift? I will call you elliott, and have sent my phone number to you, miranda, via contact another talker, but if it doesn't get there, you could post here and we could try to arrange something.

hmmm, average height, short brown/grey hair, accompanied by 6 month old baby. I think it will all be pretty obvious and I will recognise rolymoly and niceglasses anyway (and miranda if she's still coming).
Niceglasses, yes thanks very much, they arrived just before we left! V. useful as it was quite cold during the night....hope you are feeling better now.

Its probably best if you try to park somewhere near The Grand hotel - do you know that? There is a slope to the beach almost opposite the Grand - walk down there and Cafe C is just at the bottom.
Don't park in the centre of Tynemouth as you'd be looking at a bit of a walk then. You can actually park on the slope, I think.

Its an awful day here mind.......

Well, I'm massivley pregnant, curly hair, lazyeyes.....any use?

Gorgeous day for a trip to the beach At least there will be space for all of us.

Popsy, the cafe is right on the Long Sands beach. (That's the big one that goes between Tynemouth and Cullercoats.) There is parking on the road above the beach, and also some pay and display spaces on the ramp that runs down to the beach. If you park in the centre of Tynemouth you will be very wet by the time you get there ...

just occurred to me i have no idea where this is!

are we talking about parking in the centre of tynemouth or is it more towards the sea lfe centre for parking???!
