I can't come either Sad. I have been ill over the weekend (temperature, being sick etc) and now DD is ill as well Sad.

It is not fair Sad.

teabelly · 27/03/2006 10:24

PC / Mumpleasemayi sorry you won't be able to join us Sad

I'M STILL GOING TO BE THERE...hope someone will be there to join me Wink

Off in 1/2 an hour so see you there guys! Grin

Tabs · 27/03/2006 10:34

I'll be there Teabelly! Am assuming that at least Faeriemum and Georgiesmum will be there too. Always hard to know about people who haven't posted for a while, but hopefully there'll be a few others. Whoever's first had better let the restaurant know that there won't be so many of us afterall though!

teabelly · 27/03/2006 10:45

Oh great Tabs - was begining to wonder if it would just be me and DD Grin.

Yep, Georgies mum was bringing a friend so hopefully they'll both be there and Fareiesmum and QE2 sounded like they'd be there come what may. Will wait to tell the restaurant though until we see where they've put us or if they've remembered the booking at all! Wink

PiccadillyCircus · 27/03/2006 12:38

Hope you are all having fun Envy.

DD sends big snots.

Tabs · 27/03/2006 14:31

Lovely to meet you and your gorgeous children ladies. :)

Hope those of you that are unwell are feeling brighter soon, and that you'll be able to make it next time we meet.

Hope the 'no shows' are all ok too and nothing serious preventing attendance!

honneybunny · 27/03/2006 16:03

Hi!
Just re-visited this thread to find that you have all met up today! Oh no- I missed it.. (though maybe Hitchin would have been a bit far for me to come, I think it is just under an hours drive for me..) Hope to be there next time.

PiccadillyCircus · 27/03/2006 16:05

Glad you had a nice time Smile.

When can I meet everyone?

spacecadet · 27/03/2006 16:15

Hi there,

Just popping on to say lovely to meet Tabs and Georgiesmum (and friend Smile). All the babies were very well behaved indeed and I'm sure that the staff will let us come again! Wink

Tabs your dd is so lovely and so small bless feels like ages since my dd was a wee 6 week old pup, it's enough to make you broody - well almost enough! GrinGrinGrin

Piccadilly hope you and dd are feeling better - it would be nice to have another one soon and hopefully more of us can make the next one. Maybe we should start a new thread and get the ball rolling for the next meet up?

teabelly · 28/03/2006 13:11

Amyjo - it'd be fab if you could make the next meetup Smile

Does anyone have a preference for when the next one should be or where? I'm on holiday (yipee can't wait Grin) for the first two weeks of May so can do before then or if that's too short a notice then sometime after the 17th May...otherwise I'm always up for a quick coffee in Letchworth/Hitchin/somewhere if anyone fancies it...I'll go anywhere me, just love being out and about! WinkGrin

Georgiesmum · 28/03/2006 13:15

girrafey · 28/03/2006 13:33

gm yep she is my first, though used to do something similar to super nannying before so luckily had experience. good knows how people with no practice cope though!!!
she is an angel, very quick and a little mimic!!

1 hey, we are just planing for dd's birthday. did you have family over?

have to say i have heard of hitchen etc. may i ask that where ever you choose is near the train station as that woud be my method of transport.

( which is no problem as long as i dont have far to go once i have got the train there)

so maybe stevenage would be good?

ne takers?
x

Georgiesmum · 28/03/2006 13:38

Amy, yeah we had both sets of granparents overand aunties and uncles, very hectic, tired her out but it was great. If not a little surreal!

My Dd is very bright as well, and it all seemed to happen t once.

So your a super nanny? I had no experience before but I like to think am doing well (blowing my own trumpet slightly!!)

Stevenage is fine for me.

Stevenage is fine here too, and the leisure park backs onto the station so lots of choice for places to go too Smile

girrafey · 28/03/2006 14:08

not really super nanny. i was kind of a helping nanny. went to families who wanted to try having a nanny to see if it could work/ and or families who wanted a nanny but had disrupted, hard or unusual children. or people who just wanted to put their children into some sort of routine to make all their lives easier. went there everyday to work, normally sole care and was normally there 3-8 months.

so not quite quick results like supernanny. but i enjoyed it and have stayed in contact with the families.

got to travel around uk aswell.

are you a sahm now?

( u blow your trumpet all you want!! i think all parents should!)
