Grin

What a pain about lack of sleep - you sounded so much happier yesterday after a good rest. Home soon x

Btw, the Playmobil Olympics has gone down a storm!! Grin

LaGuerta · 04/08/2012 08:39

Morning. I'm off this morning for a night at a spa with my uni friends Smile. A little concerned it may get in the way of my Olympic viewing schedule. Wink

Gigondas · 04/08/2012 10:31

Enjoy the spa! And playmobil Olympics rock. I almost wish I had it here to play with Grin

Hospital restlessness due to fact I am on a permanent drip when on chemo which they check - it doesn't make for restful time as no matter how quiet they are always wake you.

SurprisinglyCurvaceousPirate · 05/08/2012 06:57

Hope you had a fab time at the spa LG Smile.

Gig, hope you're home today x

Wasn't last night amazing - inspirational stuff Grin.

disguisedeb · 05/08/2012 18:48

just checking in from Austria, sorry to hear you're still in Gig, hope you get back home soon

Hi to everyone else

Having a great time after a VERYn long journey here, day 1 ok, but day 2 Brussels to austria involved 12 hours of driving AARGH. Trying not to think about going back. Weather gorgeous but bad mother alert, Stefan, Tristan and I all have burnt shoulders after swimming yesterday.

Loving the bits of olympics we get to see on asustrian tv,they have a tendency to cut away to an austrian playing table tennis at crucial moments!! caught the last 10 mins of Murray today though Grin

SurprisinglyCurvaceousPirate · 05/08/2012 19:57

Hi Deb Smile!

Sorry to hear about the sunburn Blush.

We've had a lovely weekend with just the family which is very rare! Off to a new soft play place tomorrow that's just been opened up the road. It's supposed to be amazing, and it better be - £9 entry fee Shock!

Gigondas · 05/08/2012 20:08

Is it made of gold?
Home now with dsis so chilling out

disguisedeb · 05/08/2012 20:56

so pleased to hear you're home gig Smile

SurprisinglyCurvaceousPirate · 05/08/2012 21:17

Yay for being at home Smile!

The soft play place is the biggest in Berkshire apparently (loads of places to lose DS2 then!) and has all sorts of interesting play areas like fire stations etc. I will let you know tomorrow if it's worth the £££££!

LaGuerta · 06/08/2012 22:23

How was soft play?

How is Austria? Denial about the journey home is the best way.

Glad you're home now Gig. Looking forward to our visit.

Spa night was lots of fun. Mostly due to spending child free time with my best friends. Most of us have a brace of kids and it does make daytime meet ups slightly distracted affairs. The dpa itself was slightly irrelevant. I had a facial from a therapist who had a touch of the Vicky Pollards. She yacked constantly!

Gigondas · 08/08/2012 20:06

Just marking my spot and waving to deb. was really nice to see lag and pirate yesterday. I want to meet you others too (your break looks fun scottish).

KnittingAnOlympicGold · 08/08/2012 21:05

Hi all, just settling down to watch 24 hrs in A&E Blush - I know, for someone who hates hospitals, it's odd viewing, but I find it oddly compulsive!

Thanks for hosting our visit yesterday Gig, it was lovely to see you looking so rested. I know it must be hard on you with the family being away, but physically I think it must be doing you a lot of good to be having a lot of sleep and quiet time - although you do, of course, have to spend tomorrow morning playing games with my DS2 so that will certainly wear you out Grin!

It seems some how fitting that our thread is coming to an end during the Olympic Games - it seemed a life time away when we started it in January! So names for a new thread? I did think about School Gates (although I appreciate that this doesn't include our Scottish contingent!) but thought it might attract too much attention from other new school mums! So any other ideas?

Gigondas · 08/08/2012 21:07

What are those sweet things you give at school that you and deb like? Can we have that in the thread.

And am all set for games morning with ds2- might need a lie down after tho Wink

KnittingAnOlympicGold · 08/08/2012 21:42

Schultuete? Yes, good idea - something as simple as Schulttute Time! could work Grin.

I always need a lie down after playing games with DS2 Grin Grin!

KnittingAnOlympicGold · 11/08/2012 10:21

Gig, we forgot to play Guess Who!!

Gigondas · 11/08/2012 10:29

That means I am on the hook next time as If ds2 like dd1 he wont forget.

Think everyone is away tho except us Pirate

KnittingAnOlympicGold · 11/08/2012 17:17

We'll just have to keep the home fires burning til the troops return Gig Grin.

Gigondas · 13/08/2012 15:54

How was trip lag ? And you excited about your trip pirate

disguisedeb · 13/08/2012 21:59

I'm here, just popping in.Got one more day left before the big drive back.Bought the schueltute today. [Smile]

Gigondas · 13/08/2012 22:45

Enjoy your last day and have a good trip out.

I am out and about for next couple of days as my anaemia and blood counts better Grin

LaGuerta · 14/08/2012 13:59

LaGuerta · 14/08/2012 22:10

KnittingAnOlympicGold · 15/08/2012 09:31

Marking my spot - had a fab night out with SP and her dh last night, and my dh is currently still sleeping off his hangover Grin.

Gigondas · 15/08/2012 09:38
