Calling all East/North-East/North Londoners - it's about time we had a meet-up

Right, chaps .

If that South-East London lot can get it together to go for a curry, why can't we?

I know it's probably a bit close to Christmas to do anything in a hurry, but let's aim for January, shall we?

I suggest Rasa in Stoke Newington Church St but am open to suggestions.

Anybody interested?

goldenoldie, I forgot about the Fox Reformed! It is well worth a visit, they have a great wine list, the food is OK, and the guy who runs it is a bit of a character. I can't remember how the smoke situation was last time I went in, it was ages ago. It's only small so it can get a bit crowded by 8pm ish.

Bar Lorca is closed at the moment (or was last time I looked) it's being taken over by the people who run The Birdcage, on Stamford Hill.

How about the Red Lion at 7.45 to 8pm, it's on corner of Church St with Yoakley Rd. I'll be wearing a black and white peaked cap and will try and sit near the bar on the left hand side, ie near the gents loos!

Bundle - it's the branch of Rasa which is on the William Patten side.

Arabica - thanks for organising about the drinks! If by some miracle I make it to Church St in time, I'll come and find you all in the Red Lion.
