Right, chaps .

If that South-East London lot can get it together to go for a curry, why can't we?

I know it's probably a bit close to Christmas to do anything in a hurry, but let's aim for January, shall we?

I suggest Rasa in Stoke Newington Church St but am open to suggestions.

Anybody interested?

Arabica · 07/02/2006 23:30

goldenoldie, I forgot about the Fox Reformed! It is well worth a visit, they have a great wine list, the food is OK, and the guy who runs it is a bit of a character. I can't remember how the smoke situation was last time I went in, it was ages ago. It's only small so it can get a bit crowded by 8pm ish.

Arabica · 07/02/2006 23:31

Bar Lorca is closed at the moment (or was last time I looked) it's being taken over by the people who run The Birdcage, on Stamford Hill.

suzywong · 08/02/2006 00:17

Ahhhhh...Bar Lorca

goldenoldie · 08/02/2006 09:02

OK - where are we meeting for that drink?

Dinosaur · 08/02/2006 09:16

bump!

VeniVidiVickiQV · 08/02/2006 09:18

Cant do im afraid. Sorry i havent posted before now.

Arabica · 08/02/2006 10:18

How about the Red Lion at 7.45 to 8pm, it's on corner of Church St with Yoakley Rd. I'll be wearing a black and white peaked cap and will try and sit near the bar on the left hand side, ie near the gents loos!

Dinosaur · 08/02/2006 11:24

Bundle - it's the branch of Rasa which is on the William Patten side.

Arabica - thanks for organising about the drinks! If by some miracle I make it to Church St in time, I'll come and find you all in the Red Lion.

So that's Arabica, tamula, goldenoldie, bundle, frogs, hoxtonchick and me all confirmed. Aelita? Ooops?

goldenoldie · 08/02/2006 11:28

Great - I will be in jeans - as usual. I will look out for you.

goldenoldie · 08/02/2006 11:34

Can you park after 6pm round there?

aelita · 08/02/2006 12:19

Still okay to go...

Dinosaur · 08/02/2006 17:37

Ecxcellent stuff, aelita! Gosh, really looking forward to this!

MarsOnLife · 08/02/2006 18:12

hoxtonchick · 08/02/2006 18:22

aelita, do you still live near me? do you want a lift?

oops · 08/02/2006 18:32

Message withdrawn

Arabica · 08/02/2006 20:04

Goldenoldie, yes you can park for free after 6.30pm.
Looking forward to meeting everyone! And to eating a lovely Rasa dinner.

goldenoldie · 08/02/2006 20:17

Ops - nearly went tonight - got my days mixed up!

aelita · 09/02/2006 10:22

Hey Hoxtonchick, I do still live near you (if you're in the same place!) & a lift would be lovely, thankyou. What time were you going? Hopefully DH will be home at a reasonable time.

Dinosaur · 09/02/2006 12:58
