Do you think we can start up a new 'Liverpool Mums' thread? - if I remember right, the last one fizzled out! Hope to have a good laugh/moan soon!

browny - no i dont take my baba to the tinytalk as it was too expensive for each lesson (esp when im not working atm) but ive been signing to her as i go along

Nemo1977 · 19/11/2005 10:53

hi all

how are we doing?

been really busy at the min seem to have had a ton of hospital/drs/midwife appointments this week and next week. Task for today is to try and bring some semblence of order to the babys room...so wish me luck as DH is at work so am going it alone..lol

BROWNY · 19/11/2005 19:08

I never got the opportunity to take J to Tiny Talk as there weren't any classes by me, so I just signed the basics to him - I started when he was about 10 months old. I think it has helped him so much (and me too), it's lovely for him to be able to tell me what he wants - it's quite rare to see babies signing - I think it should be promoted a lot more!

Nemo, is everything still going to plan then?Don't do too much, you don't want your blood pressure to shoot up!

hi browny

Re signing even though adam can tlak he still does a few signs at the same time its quite funny and cute especially please and milk..think he is making sure he gets his point across..lol

Evreything going to plan with baby..being induced 3 wks on thursday and I now have a nursery finally...although our room is paying the consequences until DH can put stuff in the loft. He isnt off until wednesday so will probably be then.

superblastofflips · 22/11/2005 09:54

Thanks Nemo for the news! You're next!!!.

Superblastofflips - my fingers always get tied up in knots typing that - I'm feeling a little better, but still wiped out - can't imagine how your poor little one is feeling - at least I can moan and beg sympathy - hope she's up and running around soon!

I think we're going to take the kids to the new indoor play centre in Kirky, it was advertised in the Echo the other day and it looks nice - at least it will be warm!! Have a lovely weekend everyone - it's lovely to have some happy news!

superblastofflips · 26/11/2005 11:28

well im atm fighting with my DD to wipe the slug off her nose but she aint letting me!!

fastasleep · 26/11/2005 11:31

Ello, have no time these days! Congrats Edodgy! 3am though - ugh! Hope you're both doing well Glad everything's going ok with your littlest one Nemo, he/she'll soon be here! Time goes so fast...

Sorry everyone else and their babas are all coldy, that's November for you...

Sophia came at 37 weeks and gave me a shock, I had a chest infection at the time and coughed my waters out... took another 7 hours before labour started properly but then it went nice and quickly... she wouldn't breastfeed though, so I'm stuck expressing, I can only go to places I can get to on the bus between express times... and morning's seem to have gone completely out of the window! She's gorgeous though and Theo thinks she's brill

Would like to start doing meet-ups again, but haven't got my head around the normal toddler group routine yet!

Hope everyone gets over their colds soon xx

superblastofflips · 26/11/2005 11:33

hiya FAS..... long time no hear!!

how old is your DD now? as its seems like ages you had her... glad that theo loves her and how are you?... yes we will all have to meet up very soon

fastasleep · 26/11/2005 11:42

She's 2 months old next week , I'm great - supplying enough donor breastmilk to the wirral milkbank to feed the whole of merseyside atm although making about 15 litres a week is the best diet ever and all my old clothes are loose lol (except over my huge boobs!)

I might be able to manage an afternoon meet at somewhere like grandmas, as long as you guys don't mind me being hidden under a blanket with a strange 'squelch squerch' noise going on for 40 minutes...

BROWNY · 26/11/2005 12:14

Hiya Fastasleep, I posted on one of the threads where I saw your name - but must have missed you .

So glad Theo is in love with his little sister, I really admire you for expressing - I found breastfeeding really painful and difficult - and J was always starving - so I switched to bottle and we were both much happier. Well done you for all the effort involved - hope to see you all soon .

Have you posted a piccie of Sophia yet?
