Do you think we can start up a new 'Liverpool Mums' thread? - if I remember right, the last one fizzled out! Hope to have a good laugh/moan soon!

superblastofflips · 26/11/2005 15:11

i know... she must got a cow hidden in her shed in the back garden to make that many - lol!!

BROWNY · 26/11/2005 19:36

Hi, Didn't get as far as Kirkby - ended up in Tesco's in Old Swan - bought the kids clothes (and something for me too) as it was 20% off!! We've just had our tea and am about to put J to bed - he's rubbing his eyes poor little man! Will report back about the play centre in Kirkby!

Abigail is doing great thanks, Browny! Can't believe she'll be 7 weeks old on monday. Seems to be growing up much faster than Jessica did...time's just going so fast, don't you agree, Fastasleep? at the amount of EBM you're producing! Good for you though.
Not long for you now, Nemo. Are you managing to get organised for Christmas at all with the baby preparations? I haven't done a thing and I don't really have an excuse.
Would love to come along to a meet up if I can fit it into my very hectic (not) schedule!
Hope everyone's ok.

Nemo1977 · 26/11/2005 22:37

superblastofflips · 26/11/2005 23:28

jess - 7 weeks already?!?!... i remembered when my first 4 months DRAGS, everyone was saying "WOW, hadnt that flown by?" "err, no!".. i think it cos i was working full time in the company for 5 yrs before i had baba and prob took ages to get used to being a SAHM.

my dp knows i want one more baba and thats it! as im happy with 2 so ive saved all my DDs baby clothes in the loft.

fastasleep · 27/11/2005 15:31

It wasn't a typo the milkbank lady has to come every Wednesday to clear out the freezer (although Sophia goes through a fair bit..) I should really post a pic! Will do when I have time!

A Jan meet up would be great, it would be nice to coo over someone's teeny weeny baby, mine's lost that scrunched up littleness already..ah sigh... the first 4 months dragged for me a bit last time, but this time it's going so fast!

BROWNY · 27/11/2005 16:05

Just got two mins before I put J down for his nap - a January meet-up would be great, it'd be lovely to meet everyone and their new babies..

Nemo, I'm very impressed that you are all ready for Christmas - how very organised of you - I've hardly done anyting , but guess I'll get there in the end.

Well dh can't cope downstairs, so I'll have to rescue him [again], don't know why they play up when I'm not around!.

BROWNY · 28/11/2005 10:37

Morning!

I've just been in the garden to show J the snow, he was really excited and wanted me to put him down so he could play - couldn't though as he was still in his sleepsuit!! He's just gone down for a nap as he was up early this morning. The ulcer on his tongue looks a lot better today - think he must have bit it when he fell over on Saturday night!

Fast... you've got to put your announcement up - it's the law!

SBOL's - what have you got planned for today?

OP posts:
Nemo1977 · 28/11/2005 10:53

aww browny bless joe in his sleepsuit wanting to play

FA would still do announcement if I was you.

How is everyone. Adam woke up saw the snow and had his wellies on ready with pjs telling me snow mummy snow..lol Got out of bed and got him dressed all the time he was telling me it was nice snow. Then he went in the garden for 20mins then we walked to local shops which is usually 10-15mins each way but he walked all the way so took about an hour..lol He was most delighted though and is now standing by the patio doors staring at the snow. Will take him out again later if it is thick enough to make a snowman.

Hope you all have a good day.

BROWNY · 28/11/2005 10:56

Aww - can just imagine Adam being all excited - it's lovely so see their little faces light up, isn't it - mind you, I get all excited when it snows too - I love it!!

Hope the snow does stick so we can have an hour in the park after school, before it goes dark!!

Hope you are feeling O.k. Nemo and baby is doing fine too!!

OP posts:
BROWNY · 28/11/2005 10:57

THE SNOW IS STICKING!!!!!

Hurray!!!! Yippee!!!!

OP posts:
Nemo1977 · 28/11/2005 11:08

aww browny hope it is still there for your older ones later.
Adam is really loving the snow..lol WE put our tree up yesterday, very early i know but between now and 15th dh hasnt got many days off and cant see me wanting to do it when baby is here. So dh just switched the lights on for adam which i said i wasnt doing until at least the 1st although will admit it is worth it to see adams face. Now feel very chrismassy and will be making more cards later..lol

BROWNY · 28/11/2005 11:13

I put some colourful twinkling lights all around the picture-rail in the living room on Thursday -it really makes Chrismas seem much closer now - guess I'll have to put my thinking cap on for presents for the kids... they all want the new portable playstation... we've told them Father Christmas hasn't got that much money this year.... had to prepare them, otherwise they'd expect one each!.

I don't know where I'm putting our tree this year, J is bound to knock it over a million times in a day!
