Nemo1977 · 09/11/2005 21:10

Evening all
just gotout the bath so feeling wayyy to mellow..lol Wallpapering is done and carpet coming tommorow so can get to some semblence of normality soon ish.

Biglips did you buy anything nice in bhead? I have induction booked because I am super organised..lol No really I didnt want to be overdue especially over xmas and with the spd etc so I asked consultant and she said yep thats fine when do you want any date from 2nd dec is fine..lol So went with 15th as then dh can be home for all of xmas instead of working horrible stupid retail hours. So proper family xmas for us.

Mazzystar hi and welcome to the thread.

joec · 10/11/2005 10:19

welcome mazzystar, always nice to talk to someone new....
browny havent spoken to you for ages. text me next time you are on msn....

edodgy · 10/11/2005 10:25

Hiya everyone, sorry i havent been on here for ages but just feeling too pregnant and we had a stressful week last week as Mark was made redundant..great timing eh? Anyway he had an interview in Oldham yesterday and they're ringing him up today to make him an offer so hopefully it'll be a good one and he'll take it. It will mean us moving in the new year though but not to Oldham we'll probably move to a nice area of mancland or the peak district so im afraid i wont be a liverpool mum for much longer!
I hope you are all ok my head is too pregnant for personals lol.
em xxx

joec · 10/11/2005 10:30

hi em,

hope everytihng works out for you and your dh and family.
you will be still counted as one of us im sure where ever you move xx

BROWNY · 10/11/2005 14:47

Biglips, when you come out of the station, walk to the bottom of the road and turn right, Grandma's is just a short walk then (just ask anyone where Hunts Cross Retail Park is and they'll point! lol) Are you planning on going this coming Monday?

Joec - I'll text you when next on msn, I'm still on a bit of a high after dad's surprise party and haven't come back down to earth yet!

Edodgy, hope you and your family will be really happy wherever you move to, hey - you can still keep in touch - and of course, you are still a Liverpool Mum!!! lol

OP posts:
Biglips · 10/11/2005 15:07

BROWNY · 10/11/2005 17:07

How about 12.30, then we'll be there for lunch, they're quite reasonable, I haven't been there with Joe since he started to walk so it should be interesting - looking forward to seeing you then

mazzystar · 10/11/2005 17:25

hello again

big lips, might well have seen you around.....you mentioned you'd been to tiny talk which we go to in waterloo (you are right about the £ but we love it and now ds does loads of signing)....do you do any of the other playgroups round here?

it will take me a wee while to catch upwith the thread, so sorry for dull-ish post.

got to go pick up the wee lad just now

Biglips · 10/11/2005 19:37

im going to liverpool tmrw or tues to enter baba into the The baby of the year competition as its had been showing in the echo

Biglips · 10/11/2005 19:39

mazzy - well its ok for the people who can afford it but i cant atm but im able to do it myself as i just wanted to come along for the first class to see whats involved (as im doing BSL level 2 now)

mazzystar · 10/11/2005 19:54

biglips - so were you there in september? just trying to work out if we've met. agree it is money for old rope for the teacher. you probably know loads more than she does if you are BSL trained, you should set up in competition. we go mainly for the social, new to the area and don't know many people round here yet.

what does the baby of the year win?

Biglips · 10/11/2005 21:42

yes i was - just in the first class - as im usually at Aquafit on friday mornings so i came along to see if i was missing out on anything but im not. Im the one with red hair with a fringe and im tall too.

in the echo the prize iiiiissssss............ you win your baby photo and other prizes

mazzystar · 10/11/2005 21:58

Hmm, can't remember really, I was there with my then nearly one-year old, chubby, mad curly hair (him), quite friendly (both of us).

But now I will look out for tall redheads with little girls on my wanderings round South Road etc! If you see a woman with dark bobbed hair and a red buggy looking at you funny it may be me

biglips · 10/11/2005 22:06

i think i know who you are as youre little one had got brown hair with big gorgeous curls ... as mine had got strawberry blonde hair and i wear frameless glasses too... well im going to grandmas on monday if youre going (well when youre ready!!)

mazzystar · 10/11/2005 22:34

Yes he has mad mousy ringlets...

Got to work on Monday boo hiss....but maybe next time?

BROWNY · 11/11/2005 16:41

Hiya Mazzystar - pity you can't make Grandmas on Monday - never mind, some other time maybe. Your little boy sounds adorable, my little man will be 1 and half next month (but he is quite tall for his age, people talk to him and are surprised when he just babbles back (I'm always being told they thought he was 2!).

Biglips, is that time o.k. for Monday?

OP posts:
BROWNY · 12/11/2005 18:11

Biglips, I've sent you an e-mail - I have to cancel Monday at Grandmas...... very sorry
