Has anyone completed the CFG degree? Considering putting in an application for the next cohort and having a bit of a wobble about the time commitment 😵‍💫

I’m on the forum. It has about 500+ comments and can’t see anyone saying they have interview with EDF. They are all waiting to hear back.

someone just put this in there guys "Making a list of companies people have heard back from (mainly for my own sanity).
So far we know about people getting interviews at: Carnival, HSO, Trapdoor Labs, GCHQ, National grid, Lloyds, Kaluza
Hoping the rest of us will hear back soon!" hope this helps xx

I'm also on the reddit forum!

Constant refresh on the emails, but also convinced it's a no. Managing expectations and all that!
But the next application will be open soon enough.

I am also on the Reddit forum and getting very anxious waiting for the outcome! Lots of people seem to have been getting an interview so I am not so sure I will get through anymore :(

yeah there are quiet a lot of people who have received interviews but also quiet a few company's where people haven't heard anything! try and stay positive until the very end. ❤️

yeah i'm waiting to hear back from natwest! really stressful trying to just forget about it but im constantly checking my emails haha

I know what you mean! It’s a shame because there is such a need for women in tech and there are lots who are trying to get in, but not enough places on somewhere like the CFG degree. I haven’t found anywhere else who provides the opportunity for a job at the end and other boot camps are so expensive. There are still SO many barriers for a woman trying to enter the coding industry.

yeah it's really true, cfg is a very unique thing and it's a shame that not everyone gets a place! hopefully we all do x

ah so i'm assuming if we don't find out before the 31st we can assume we haven't got a place 😭 that makes it more stressful
