I lost all my excess weight two years LCHFing. It's crept back on over the past year as ive reaching for the frackers, been, eating the kids chips etc. Carb creep and not tracking...means I'm 15lbs over where I like to be ☹️

So, I need to reboot.

I've started tracking today. My aim is to have less than thirty grams carbs a day...

I am armed with double cream, babybel and dark chocolate.

Anyone want to join me?

Welcome downtown! I put the on a stone a half the last five months of last year. Just. couldn't. Stop. Eating.

I'm off on holiday on Thursday. I'm about 7.5 lbs since starting three weeks ago and my jeans feel really nice now. Still want to lose a stone but holiday is not the time. Think I'll join bootcamp when I'm back. Going to Asia where it will be noodle and rice non stop I expect!

Mrs R I hope you feel better soon

Marieamy96 · 24/04/2018 11:47

I would love to do this. Can anybody reccomend a diet plan they do or where I can find one online? We are in the middle of moving so can't afford to get a book or anything Blush

Day 26✅ 15g carbs

I'm finding that adding more vegetables is taking my net carbs down.

Starting a 16hr fast now.

Well done 50 you are doing amazingly well and are really inspiring. Have managed to stick to it today despite my b*tch of a boss being completely unreasonable, think I need to start looking for a new job, as work stresses normally lead me straight to the wine, biscuits and cake. Today I tried to focus on how awful it must be that unpleasant all the time

mrsreynolds · 24/04/2018 18:38

Blimey
WHAT a day I've had 😡😔😣😩
But I've only cheated a bit with some chocolate buttons - not great but not cakes or biscuits so today I'm taking that as a win!

dotdotdot12 · 25/04/2018 06:52

I'm on day 3 now and had a terrible headache day 1 and 2. It seems to have gone now Smile

Does anyone count calories? I keep track with the macros in my fitness pal and calories but I went about 100 over yesterday Confused does that matter?

At what point do you start to not feel hungry?

I've been doing 16:8 so eating between 11am and 7pm. Finding the morning the hardest as my dd wakes at around 6am so I have to wait 5 hours to eat Sad hoping the hunger pains stop soon!

AnnaT45 · 25/04/2018 08:03

Dot I track in mfp and calories vary between 1000-1500 depending on what I've eaten, doesn't seem to make a huge difference to my loss. It took me about a week to stop feeling hungry and now I don't really eat till lunchtime so I'm doing 16:8 but not really trying to just because I'm hungry then.

Mrs R don't worry, it's unrealistic to be good all the time. We all have bad days and give in. I had some minstrels yesterday as I'm feeling very overwhelmed with everything before I go away (run my own business, have two toddlers etc etc) but it wasnt loads and I didn't let it impact on the rest of the day. You have to be realistic and kind on yourself. Today is a new day!

I can remember who recommended that lovely aubergine gratin from ocado but had it last night and it was delicious! Will be getting again! So thank you!

DanceDisaster · 25/04/2018 09:01

Oh I love all things aubergine-y^^! Will have to order that.

I had a carby breakfast this morning, (porridge oats mixed with greek yoghurt and honey), but am back on the wagon now.

Planning a salad for lunch and either mushroom stroganoff with cauliflower rice or roast chicken with imam bayildi and salad for tea.

I’ve found a recipe for low carb moussaka as well which I really want to try. Will save that for the weekend though as looks a bit of a faff. I love moussaka though. Will serve with Greek salad.

@MrsR yeah, I slipped yesterday and had two biscuits after a hideous walk home from nursery with my baby and very... erm spirited 3yo. She was pretty darn spirited yesterday! I always seem to reach for the sweet stuff when I’m super stressed. Wonder why that is. It’s a habit I need to break.

mrsreynolds · 25/04/2018 09:33

My eldest left my car door open in the pouring rain and I didn't notice for two hours....:(
No Idea how to get sear dry...
T ::) end I've been up l night with ds2 who had an abdo migraine attack
I can honestly say I haven't kept at all
He's off school today so I will have a bath and go bbc back to bed soon
Normally I would be elbow poo w deepening biscuits/croissants etc by now but M about to m make myself some more coffee
Then maybe some dark choc later :)
I'll be glad when Dh is back on friday....

mrsreynolds · 25/04/2018 09:42

God sorry for typos
So tired

dotdotdot12 · 25/04/2018 12:03

Thanks Anna

I just had the most amazing "desert" Grin

Just cocoa powder mixed with some double cream and Greek yogurt and a crushed sweetener - oh my it was yum Grin

mrsreynolds · 25/04/2018 14:34

Not hungry really but should eat something...

Shiraznowplease · 25/04/2018 16:04

Oh no @mrsr hope your week gets better and that you get some sleep. It’s hard when your dh works away (counting down until mine comes home tonight) 💐 make sure your dh gives you a break when you get back. Wasn’t feeling hungry today so tried chorizo crisps OMG they are amazing

Bonnie7 · 25/04/2018 16:08

Ooh this thread is great! May I join?
Baby no3 about to turn 1yo next month and have I 2stone of weight to lose again! Have previously lost it twice on SW but just can not get into it this time round! This looks great though!
After loosing 4kg last week by simply cutting out crisps and wine (my addictions) I feel great and spurred on to keep going! Just done an Ocado order with lots of yummy meat/fish/salad plus mushrooms cauliflower etc and butter and cream! Replacing vino with gin/vodka and slimline bitter lemon/tonic and going to give the Kale crisp recipe a go at the wkend. Thanks for all the menus and recipes.

mrsreynolds · 25/04/2018 16:52

It's weigh day for me on Friday....
I'd be amazed if I'd lost loads as I've been eating a lot of dark choc and nuts to stop me falling off the wagon
:)

50andgoingstrong · 25/04/2018 17:30

dotdot could you have your evening meal earlier?

Ive been eating a 4.30pm dinner then fasting until 8.30 breakfast. I just drink loads in the evenings. ( not fun things sadly just mint tea and water!)

anna don't worry about calories. Just count carbs!

Couldn't resist getting on the scales this morning after my fast. Down another 1lb🙂

Day 26✅ 18g carbs.
