Pre-Christmas 22 Boot Camp: Week 4

Good Morning all! Sorry I’m a bit late - had a fabulous weekend away and will weigh in myself tomorrow after spending the day drinking a lot of water

Here we are in Week 4 already - nearly half way through , Remember that many of us experience a few weeks of doldrums over Weeks 3, 4 and even possibly week 5, where the scales will resolutely refuse to move —or even move upwards slightly . This is normal, so keep the faith, follow the rules , KOKO and the scales will move again. In the meantime, concentrate on the NSVs, like better sleep, better skin, more energy and/or looser clothes.

Remember that this is a marathon not a sprint, and try not to get too fixated on the short term.

Volunteering to post links to the different "stickied' threads each week alongside the link to the spreadsheet.

Keep meaning to do something like this for myself, as I mostly use the app rather than a browser. This will encourage me to get it sorted and have those links conveniently to hand

That would be good of you. I was thinking we should start a new thread in which all the recipe threads are linked to - so that we don't have to keep doing lots of separate links. We could also periodically "bump" that thread to keep it near the tip of the Boot Camp topic

I've stayed the same this week which is totally deserved. I spent some time yesterday evening looking up keto recipes to get my head back in the game! And I need to concentrate on water water water!!

And I should point out that I'm catering for 9 people this Christmas, (family from Oz staying with us for a fortnight ). Two vegetarians and one pescatarian also to cater for.

This is very much a dessert for the rest of the family. Although I may nick a small corner

I did wonder

Ice cream desserts are good for around Christmas as you can make them in advance and then forget about them

I made a good almondy/cinnamon/raspberry and cream low carb roulade a couple of months back. Come to think of it - it might adapt well to being frozen and eaten as an ice cream dessert

I may make some of the chocolate pots from the dessert thread, so that there's something for me as well. (Although it's fair to say, I haven't quite decided what my own Christmas strategy is going to be yet )

Week’s gone quite well so far even though life is 80% work and will be for the next month. Been better about packing lunches and snacks rather than succumbing to gross gas station food. Weight creeping downwards again, slow but steady! Doing shirataki noodles today with leftover fatty sauce and veg.
