@WeAreLateAgain I assume you are the same poster as @TabascoAddict (and presumably also MatchaTea from other, previous threads)?
What kind of person are you who comes on to a low carb topic and thread to then tell people that what they're doing is wrong? What kind of pleasure do you get out of that?
I don't go over to the calorie counting or Slimming World or Weight Watchers threads and tell them that I think what they're doing is wrong. People on those topics/those threads have made their own choices and it would be hugely arrogant of me - not to say unhelpful - to castigate them for the diet they have chosen to follow.
As @ditavonteesed has so eloquently written, these threads are support threads. We look to help people if/when they're struggling them, not castigate them for doing things 'wrong'.
And this statement:
Again and again, between bootcamps , you fall off the wagon, maybe you are on the wrong train. Try something else. You didn't resist the cake or the chips because you are on a plan that is too restrictive
... is both hugely assumptive as well as incorrect. If you have bothered to read any of the threads over this 8 week Bootcamp, you will realise that this WOE is anything but restrictive.
This too:
Instead of counting carbs, count fibre and give yourself a goal, eat the rainbow everyday. When your body is nourished, your brain isn't screaming for crap
... also illustrates that you know fuck all about how Bootcamp works.
- we don't count carbs
- one of the rules of Bootcamp is to include plenty of veg/salad in our meals - so lots of rainbow-eating there, along with fibre - and also good nutrition - it's something we emphasise very strongly.
- our brains scream for crap because sugary, carby foods feed the dopamine centre of our brains, and because we've been conditioned - especially as women - that sweet things will make us feel better. Our brains don't 'scream for crap' because we aren't nourished
So bore off. Go and tell all the calorie counters that calorie counting doesn't work. Or something.
And if you're going to have a go at Bootcamp, make sure you know what you're talking about first.
