Well done on the losses and let's koko for those who have gained.
STS this week meh. Had to give myself a mental pat on shoulder and reminder of where I'm coming from and how far I've got!

Motivational Monday. A pic from the start of my weight loss journey (not even my highest weight) and one of my lowest. Hoping I can get there and even lower.

Morning,
Just caught up with the thread, your all such a lovely supportive lot.

ouch I wish there was a very rude emoji I could post to those horrid posters, I’m so glad you have found bootcamp and it’s working for you, of course you can do it, you have already shown that by joining and loosing so much, it will come off and as this is such a fab woe it will stay off.

@ouchmyfeet Thanks

What's the saying? "The journey of a hundred miles starts with the first step"? Or something like that Wink. You've already made the first step Smile

Or as a Boot Camper's old boss once told her: in 3 years time, the years will still have passed. You can choose to be 3 years into the qualification (or whatever your target is) or not. Don't see the time as insurmountable - it's going to pass anyway Smile

I've lost 3.5 stone in the last 3.5 years - the first 2 stone pretty much in the 1st 6 months Shock. I've gone up and down a bit since but never by more than 1.5 stone (ie never gone back into Obese territory). I still haven't managed to get back to normal BMI - but I will get there. Maybe not quite as quickly as I want it, but I will get there And I'm feeling good about where I've got to even now Halo

Plus I've now treated myself to a lovely pair of Size 12 midnight blue velvet jeans Grin

@Ninkanink - the satin blouse from M&S and was not expensive. They might still have it in stock. Dh bought me two for Christmas - the ivory one that I'd asked for and the navy blue one - which I opened first and was initially disappointed as I'd asked for ivory one Blush

Checking in at 9 stone 1!! So pleased ! Grin
I was down to below goal of 9 stone yesterday. GrinGrin
I decided to start maintaining yesterday and see how all this is going to take shape on a regular basis. Started with 2 slices of H's homemade bread. The scales moved up 2 pounds ! Haha. This is looking like it's going to continue being quite a journey . Thanks for being there everyone. It's great to read you. Smile
Wishing you all lots of success this week.

I am pleased to report the stand off is over thank god. This happened last night and the relief is immeasurable. It was 4 weeks and a day in total - a looong time but normality is restored. A good start to March!

@prettybird I used to really rate M&S for clothing - you can find some real gems for reasonable prices; I bought a lot there. But sadly I’ve had to boycott them so haven’t set foot in any of their stores or bought anything from them for well over a year now! But I suppose I could keep an eye on eBay...😊

I had a look anyway on the website anyway and although it had been down to £9, it was now out of stock unsurprisingly Wink

Heh yes. I used to love to go in (lived 5min walk from a big shop) and search through the ‘further reduced’ items. Got some brilliant clothing/footwear for hardly any money.

@kilojules you look amazing.

I've lost about 1.5lbs but in the rock and roll weight loss journey that is boot camp, my net loss is only 2.5lbs since my original starting weight. Bit dispiriting. But my trousers fit better so I shall cling to NSVs for now. My lowest weight so far was another 1.5lbs down so fluctuation is at work a bit.

Was going to post yesterday's food, as I haven't been much:

Breakfast: amazing brunch bowl thing - yoghurt, kale, butternut squash, avocado, egg, salmon, mushrooms

Dinner: roast pork, roast celeriac, cauli cheese, carrot and swede mash, stir-fried greens

Two flat whites made with milk though

You have a great figure @kilojules!

And WELL DONE @WitchWand! That’s such fantastic news. I am glad one of us has stormed the 9 stone barrier and is now charting the shadowy lands of maintenance. I hope you are treating yourself to lots of nice new clothes for a skinny summer of (hopefully) socialising again.

Morning all.

Great evening with DS1 last night. Started with Champagne, then our weekly zoom call with my lovely SIL and DS2 - we play our own version of Absolute Balderdash and then have a short quiz, for which we all make up our own questions.

Chinese take away, at DS1's request - I had lettuce wrapped chicken. I did also have a couple of spoonfuls of Singapore fried noodles, but honestly no more than that.

Then we played a new game that I'd bought for DS1 (he loves a game), a souped up version of Pass The Bomb , which was hilarious.

And then there was gin ...

Lots of chat and family reminiscences kept me up later than normal, and I did find myself thinking about pouring another drink, but thankfully the last vestige of sensibleness kicked in, and I took myself off to bed.

Where I created the new chat thread and typed it v e r y c a r e f u l l y

Woke up at 5.30, had to take some paracetamol Blush but then slept in until 10.30, which was brilliant.

Just have to remember I have to do day 1 of my challenge though!

@Bestbees do you have that Delia recipe, or can you tell me which of her books it's in, in case I have it? We're having chicken tonight and I quite fancy doing something other than just roasting it.

I'm so pleased for you @ChristMyArse! I'm going to predict that this welcome reduction of stress will mean great things for you both on and off the scales!

Oh wow @kilojules, you look fab!

1 pound off for me this week, ho hum. I've spent the weekend digging over the allotment, that's certainly good exercise. So pleased we're over the worst of winter!

Have a lovely day, everyone

Just checking in as I managed to drop off the thread last week.
StS this week.
Not sure whether I need to refocus or just keep the faith but I definitely need to drink more water and stay on the thread.

Morning All - back home on Friday night after 5 mental days in London Town. Also inadvertently managed a 24 hour fast - not as hard as I expected, helped by being busy and just drinking water. Think its paid off as the scales stated 12.5lbs which is )I think) 175lbs - so bloody delighted.

Got home and discovered DF had done a very bootcamp friendly shop involving lots of salmon and avocados. Food Over the weekend was fine, and there was a small glass of wine (100mls) in a pint glass topped up with sparkling water - not everyones taste - but it hit the spot.

Today has been:
L - Green soup and parmesan crisps
D - chicken, broccoli and shoogled sprouts.
C - x2
W x 3.5ltrs

@prettybird - love mustard and blue - may need to try as all I wear is black, white and varying shades of grey - in the summer there is a major seasonal change and the black is replaced with navy blue Grin

KOKO and water water water!

Afternoon! Spent my spare moments this morning catching up with the thread, as I'd neglected it this weekend.

Half a pound loss for me, which I'm happy with, considering My hungover carbs-twattiness on Tuesday.

I pulled it straight back on Wednesday, and haven't deviated since. (Also, I consciously refused to PUNISH myself by starvation).

So, all-in-all, it's a win for me.

Nine pounds altogether so far, which I'm reasonably happy with.

Really enjoyed reading the thread, and seeing some of your progress pictures. Most inspiring!

Also, solidarity with @ouchmyfeet 💪. Lots of arseholes on here: stick with us instead.

@ChristMyArse as a newbie I'm intrigued - but pleased for you regardless

Can I just add myself to the spreadsheet or does @BIWI have to do the first time?

And Im guessing this is out as the bloody co-op put sugar in their Mayo???

I am 4lbs off since starting last week (although 1lb up from Fri but I'm not worrying about that!) so very pleased.

B: fasting
L: salmon salad with homemade coleslaw
D: chicken satay with cauli rice and stir fry
