Morning all.

We've completed our ten weeks - and I can see from the Spreadsheet just how well it's gone!

But just because the ten weeks are up, doesn't mean we have to stop. So here's a bright, shiny new chat thread for us to keep chatting and supporting each other.

@Lyrata @IncurablyCurious wowsers! You gals look fabulous. Wonderful curves to fill those dresses and jumpsuits.
Hopefully new threads and new bootcamp in the new year and I will join again with gusto. Have not lost a huge amount BUT I have not gained and that is the rights direction for me. Have identified that not being able to run totally fcuks my mindset and when that goes everything goes. Rest d leg will be good to go in the new year!

GorgeousGoldies · 21/12/2020 22:30

Wow, Lyrata and Incurablycurious, you both look fantastic. A great achievement and proof that Boot Camp seriously works.

Well done everyone else too, some awesome results. I’m hovering around the same weight, but that’s fine as I’m around my first target and it’s Christmas!

prettybird · 22/12/2020 08:09

You both look incredible Lyrata and IncurablyCurious

I showed dh your pictures IncurablyCurious and he was really impressed he also liked your cleavage Xmas Wink It's a beautiful dress (the style I also like and which I know is really flattering with good boobs) Xmas Smile

I stood on the scales this morning and my 38 hour fast up to yesterday afternoon seems to have had a belated effect as I was 11st 2.75lb Xmas Shock - so only 1lb above where I'd got to 2 years ago which I hadn't thought was achievable Xmas Smile

I'll do some progress pictures later of my belt and my good black trousers.

VeryLittleOwl · 22/12/2020 11:30

I worked out why my BMI is different on the Renpho app to all the other calculators - it's now paired with Samsung Health on my phone as well and that shows their BMI calculation. For some reason they've calculated 5'5" as 164cm instead of 165.1cm, which accounts for the difference.

Oneborneverydecade · 22/12/2020 13:17

@prettybird did you fast for 38 hours deliberately? I can't remember sorry. How did you find it

I was 1lb down this morning so hit 1 stone off one day late for bootcamp. That's 50lb in total though and means there's every chance I'll begin 2021 at 11st something which would have been unbelievable 6 months ago

WitchWandHasBaublesOn · 22/12/2020 13:22

I weighed myself yesterday and didn't have time to post. so, here is what I found...

Since I started on BC with you all in October, I’ve shifted 1 and a half stones !! And, since June, when I first started I’ve shifted 3 stone 2llbs !! I’m absolutely delighted !!! Grin

I’ve arrived at my goal for the present time which is to be below 10 stone by this week. I’m so happy about that. And, in short, I’ve gone from 13 stone to 9 stone 13 lbs !! Grin

I thank you all for your contributions - for @BIWI and @StuntNun for all your guidance and informative support. And, I wish everyone who has contributed to this Boot Camp a very happy and peaceful Christmas .Xmas Grin

I’ll join the support to write my plan for over the Christmas period. And, already I feel helped by your setting up the new support thread BIWI. Thanks again ! Xmas Smile

prettybird · 22/12/2020 13:23

I did - inspired by Stuntnun Smile

I ate a reasonable meal on Saturday (home made boerewors and shoogled brussels) plus some wine (Cava for Strictly and then a glass of redWine with our meal). Then didn't eat until yesterday afternoon. I was out doing Christmas supermarket shopping yesterday morning, so that kept me occupied Wink - but I'll admit my stomach was rumbling by the time I ate! Grin

WitchWandHasBaublesOn · 22/12/2020 13:25

Well done to everyone who managed to stay the course downwards. Lovely Christmas present to see our lighter selves eh ! Xmas Grin

WitchWandHasBaublesOn · 22/12/2020 13:35

So, yesterday, the reason why I didn't have time to write here was because I took time to talk with my husband about how I'd like to maintain my current weight throughout the Christmas period. Because that, my friends, is my aim.Xmas Grin

He's on board now and I'm really happy about that. After our chat we went Christmas food shopping and made choices accordingly. And, now I'm looking forward to being able to enjoy a low carb Christmas and maintain. Xmas Smile

NotwatchingSpooks · 22/12/2020 16:29

Afternoon, some fabulous photos and losses.

Our Ocado Christmas shop came today, full of lovely low carb stuff as well as a few Christmas bits. Luckily we got a last minute slot as I’m trying to keep out of supermarkets as our daughter is shielding, we received her letter last night. Anyway, I was struck as I unpacked it that I find it much easier to keep on track grocery shopping online than when I’m tempted in store., I may call this a CSV (COVID small victory) .

Today
B Greek yogurt
L homemade soup and the quiche part of a quiche, didn’t eat the pastry
D chicken breast, swede and flgv
Really fancy something for desert, so I may have some raspberries with cream later, if I’m still desperate after dinner . Quite often if I wait a bit the need goes away.

3 almonds, 2 coffees, Teapigs tea, water

MrsHuntGeneNotJeremyObviously · 22/12/2020 19:45

I weighed this morning and am down 1lb so very pleased with that
Food was salmon and courgette fried in butter and oil, with mayo for brunch.
Dinner was spicy chicken breast with sprouts/cauli and a piece of cheese.
I did eat a biscuit today but stopped at one, which I never used to be able to do.

Pleaseandthankyou · 23/12/2020 11:09

There are some really inspirational stories on here. Merry Christmas to you all and thank you. I will be back to join you in January.

Solongsugar · 23/12/2020 16:53

11.6 Stone for me. The best Christmas present I could have ever hoped for. A 31 waist . I hope to continue . So many on here , inspirational and so helpful. Christmas cheer to all X

Takingontheundead · 24/12/2020 10:18

Incurablycurious you look immense!

Guys everything has gone to shit. I don't know whats happened but i planned to be completely on track and take xmas eve and day "off"

I think this is where the fact I'm an abstainer comes in. Now the house is absolutely rammed with shit and even though Its actually making me feel so ill and the scales already show 3lbs up 😭 i cannot stop.

I'm actually dying for Christmas to be over so i can cleanse the house and my body!!!

The dogs been at the emergency vets for a 3rd time this month, work got really stressful and we are now in T3. All our Christmas plans got cancelled and the children are absolutely distraught missing their grandparents.

Basically I'm just crying and shovelling my face.

I need a hard fucking shake guys.

ZiggZagg · 24/12/2020 10:32

Come on @Takingontheundead! It's a couple of days, don't beat yourself up! I bought Christmas goodies and kept picking yesterday. Get into the mindset that it is for a few days and have a day to be "back on it". Keep on keeping on until the start of new bootcamp, post here for support! It's been a crap time for everyone but it is not the end of the world Smile

StuntNun · 24/12/2020 10:51

It's okay Taking that sounds like a lot of stress and comfort eating might have helped a little at first. Not any more though. No more carby crap for you today. What have you got that's delicious and low carb? How about scrambled eggs with smoked salmon? Make yourself something luxurious to eat and have a hot drink. You're going to get back on track right now otherwise I will be very upset with you! You have worked your now substantially smaller arse off to achieve a fantastic weight loss this year and I won't have you throw it away with pointless binging over Christmas. Fill yourself up with good food and stay away from the bad stuff.

ZiggZagg · 24/12/2020 11:16

Actually, ignore me and do what stunt says Grin

I have also had a kick up the arse, where's my eggs? Grin

Takingontheundead · 24/12/2020 11:56

Thank you guys 💖

We are off to the pub, I'm going to have brie and cranberry to start and a bugger with no bun or chips (i won't miss them)

I think I'll redownload fastastic too as fasting really helps my tummy feel settled and atm my longest stretch is probably 45minutes at a time 🤣

I think everything feels like "chaotic nothingness"

Takingontheundead · 24/12/2020 11:56

BAHAHAHAHAHA

BURGER. A BURGER.

StuntNun · 24/12/2020 12:09

Oh god! Grin

Oneborneverydecade · 24/12/2020 12:55

You got this @Takingontheundead Enjoy your pub lunch (and be grateful it's only tier 3 Wink). Merry Christmas x

NotwatchingSpooks · 24/12/2020 14:14

😂 I need a bugger, as you were 😀

VeryLittleOwl · 24/12/2020 14:41

Enjoy your lunch, Takingontheundead :) I have discovered I can't be trusted with a lovely seeded farmhouse loaf in the house, it was supposed to be for Marmite toast for breakfast tomorrow, but I cracked early. As in yesterday.

Lyrata · 24/12/2020 19:37

@Takingontheundead don’t worry about it! It’s only been a few days. Why don’t you do something healthy tomorrow like go for a nice long walk? And enjoy your food. As they all say - you can’t lose a lot of weight OR put a lot on in just a week xx

StuntNun · 25/12/2020 06:26

Happy Christmas Bootcampers! DS4 woke DS3 up before 4 a.m. this morning so we've already opened presents and I'm now back in bed nursing a cup of tea. Hmm

I hope everyone has a great day and enjoys their Christmas food.
