Welcome to week 9, did you think at the beginning that you would make it this far? We're in the last two weeks now so let's all re-commit to this way of eating for the final stretch. Add your weigh-in to the Spreadsheet of Fabulousness and how about some inspiring tales to keep each other going?

I'll go first... I lost weight over two Bootcamps in 2013 and I have maintained a healthy BMI ever since including one low carb pregnancy. This isn't a diet for me anymore, it's just how I eat now.

Well well well. My 4lb weight loss stuck this week. So now at 176—finally officially into the 70s—and hey, overall loss of 60lbs. I have to let that sink in. Grin

StuntNun · 09/03/2020 07:07

That's brilliant Shag! Well done you!

I'm 17st 7.

2lb down from when I started.
3lb up from my lowest.
I'm due my period in 2 days.
I think it's that.

It's disappointing, but not enough for me to give up.

Breakfast: omelette
Lunch: poached eggs on a bed of salad leaves.
Dinner: pork chops and flgv.

Also water. Lots and lots of water.

BrassicaBabe · 09/03/2020 07:58

2.2lb off for me!!! Lower stress and exercise were definitely the fix for me. This was yesterday's weight. But...:

Today's weight looks rather different but confirm what I suspected. I need to avoid diary! We had a buffet thing yesterday. I ate absolutely on plan but that included cheese. 3.5lb on Shock

The 2.2lb loss was with me for most of last week. So I'm sticking with that for our SoF. If exercise and water is the fix for carbyness. Is it also the fix for diary?!

MrsBertBibby · 09/03/2020 07:58

1 pound off for me this week, 18 total. Now at 12s 5 1/2 so closing on last year's low. Hoping to press on to well below 12 stone this year, it's my third go at low carbing, my weight at the outset was nearly 15 stone, so I am pleased. Although maintenance is not my thing! I'm a bit all or nothing.

B : black tea and a nibble of cheese
L : some quorn tikka strips and eggs
D: cauliflower and broccoli cheese.

Notwatchingtvtoday · 09/03/2020 07:59

Morning and well done losers 😀
I’m another 1.5lbs down this week, so 11.5lbs since start of boot camp, very pleased and am koko as it is now just the way I eat everyday. What I know I have to watch is snacking, as that is definitely my weakness.

B Greek yogurt
L omelette
D beef stir fry

Water ....

Almahart · 09/03/2020 09:06

Got to target weight mid week but seen it gave out a couple of pounds back in since. Too much wine, some fuckit food moments. I’m also letting myself get too hungry I think

BIWI · 09/03/2020 09:31

Morning all

Rayna37 · 09/03/2020 09:34

Back up a bit, currently 5lbs to target. No major obstacles in the next two weeks, other than myself, so will do my best to keep to the straight and narrow.

whitershadeofpale · 09/03/2020 09:41

So weigh in looks as if I’ve put on 1lb this week. Actually I’d put on 5lb on a work trip to Texas which was an absolute carb fest. Been strict since I got back on Thursday and have dropped 4lbs since then.

Overall I’m happy and feel I dodged a bullet. Still lost a stone overall and that 1lb I’ve put on will soon go.

ShagMeRiggins · 09/03/2020 09:50

No major obstacles in the next two weeks, other than myself...

Truer words, etc.

Congratulations to everyone. So many mentions of near target I thought I might have dipped into an archery thread by mistake. Keep with it, all, you’ll hit the bullseye.

HerRoyal don’t even think about giving up. Why would you? Stick to plan and watch it work.

Here’s not an NSV but just a V—my school refuser is in school today for the first time in probably a month. That has been my stress point all these weeks and I am typing this hugely relieved.

It might be same old same old tomorrow, but today there was a change, and even though it wasn’t pretty (sorry neighbours) it happened.

Nothing stays the same. Especially if we KOKO with mindful, positive action.

MrsBertBibby · 09/03/2020 11:22

Well done ShagMe, and child.

Twit · 09/03/2020 11:50

Hi all, I'm sorry I've been absent, I've been really busy 😭
So far this bootcamp I've lost 5lbs.
I'd like to have lost more, but I'm ok with it because other things have changed. I look generally slimmer and feel way fitter than when I started, and SHOCKINGLY I have discovered that fasting between 6pm - 10 am twice a week helps with my usual mega bloating around ovulation!!ShockGrin
I'm soooooo happy about this.

I'll be carrying on until the next bootcamp begins, and joining you all again- and hopefully I'll lose a little more weight than this one. But YAY!

prettybird · 09/03/2020 12:25

I've had a whoosh Grin - down 3.25lb to 11st 1.25lb Smile

It's the lightest I've been for c5-6 years. I can't tell precisely as I used to weigh on a particular unrealistic "sweet spot" in the bathroom Blush whereas I now have a realistic and constant spot which I use.

I'm 1/4lb short of a stone this Boot Camp - I started a week early, so this is my "Week 10".

Next target is to break through the 11st barrier. Smile

TheClitterati · 09/03/2020 13:18

Thanks for your kindness on the other thread. I am feeling much better today - more back to normal, and feel like I am occupying my body again. And yes lessons learnt re food choices when under stress - I'm sure my kids would love a dinner that isn't soup & toast or pasta bless them.

The 16/8 I'm doing most days must have worked some magic because despite a disaster of a week food wise last week I am 2.5lbs down!!!!

But the spreadsheet is being very strange for me & I can't enter anything on it - so could someone please post my todays weight of 245lb?

Total weight loss so far on BC is 15.8lb / 7.1 kg, which is over a stone.

I've gone down a notch on my belt too. And I had a lovely swim in my virtually empty gym pool this morning.

TheClitterati · 09/03/2020 13:58

Well done all you losers, & those sticking in there!

CheddarGorgeous · 09/03/2020 14:00

Weighing in later but not looking forward to it. Saturday I was back up to my week 3 weight and my measurements are not good.

Period overdue. Feeling demotivated and fed up. Snacking reflects that. Meals are ok but snacks and alcohol have been bad.

Well done all the losers - some really great stories.

venusandmars · 09/03/2020 14:38

clitterati I'm also having trouble with the spreadsheet @StuntNun when I try to scroll right the whole sheet moves so I can't match my name with my entry. Am I doing something wrong?

B - nothing
Snack - a 20g bag of cheesies
L (out) - prawn cocktail, chicken in gorgonzola cream sauce (it may have had flour in it ☹️) courgettes, aubergine
D - oxtail soup

ShagMeRiggins · 09/03/2020 16:11

Clitterati I’ve entered your weight. Will do the same for you if you like venusandmars but don’t know your number.

venusandmars · 09/03/2020 16:29

shagme I'm 125.0 thanks.

Not enough veg or water today. Still plenty of time to up the water intake. I'm on my way home so can drink freely without the worry of having to go to the toilet on the train

TheClitterati · 09/03/2020 16:50

thank you Shag

prettybird · 09/03/2020 17:19

I've just checked back and actually I've lost just over a stone since I started back on Boot Camp this year, which was a week before this Boot Camp formally started. Smile

If I calculate from when I was at my heaviest, summer 2017, I've lost just under 4 stone ShockHalo

venusandmars · 09/03/2020 18:06

prettybird that is all so encouraging. You've done something wonderful for yourself.

I'm down one pound. I'm very close to target so every ounce counts. Of course it doesn't really matter if I reach that mythical target or not but it all helps to keep me focussed on staying within a defined limit and not letting the pounds creep up and up and up. I'm almost 3 stone lighter than I was 4 years ago, healthy BMI and blood pressure which is most of the time close to normal. It all feels good and it's where I want to remain.

MrsGarethSouthgate · 09/03/2020 18:15

@HerRoyalCarbyLess
I seem to recall that you are only a few weeks in, so it is likely that you are experiencing the dreaded weight-loss stall that we have all had. I went 3 weeks last boot camp with no change before it picked up again, so don't worry, and don't even think about giving up!!!

Just keep going, you will get there. This is my second BC, I am 3 stone down so far. Hoping one more will get me to target.

Why not try 16:8 as well? I do it and it works well for me combined with BC.
