Morning campers Flowers

Once more for you, the Spreadsheet of Fabulousness

I hope it's been a good week, and I hope that the scales have been kind to you this morning.

If not, and if you haven't been cheating (!) then just remember that weeks 3 & 4 are notorious for seeing very little or no weight loss. KOKO (keep on keep on) and hopefully things will soon get going again.

Here's to a good week! Smile

Feel much better today, I definitely have/had a cold.
What's amazing is that I'd usually be feeling sorry for myself for a good 4 days if id gotten a cold etc, I only felt slightly crappy yesterday and apart from sneezing today, I'm on the mend so thats a fast recovery! Must be all the veg. Grin

L: chicken breast in mayo, bag of mixed pea shoots, half an avocado, and some feta. I had a couple of slices of belly pork too.
D: will be lots of veg cooked in the bone broth to make a healthy soup.

KondoKonvert · 06/11/2019 13:06

Plan for today:

B: Greek yoghurt with raspberries

L: veg soup with a low carb Scotch egg

D: ribeye steak, field mushrooms and salad

Coffee with cream and WATER

Sauvignonismysaviour · 06/11/2019 13:31

I've been out of action with sinusitis and am now on antibiotics. Gutted as I've not been able to do any sit ups to try and tone my stomach which is really paunchy, and my face looks all puffy. Just over 3 weeks til the wedding so feeling the pressure.

Have managed to stay low carb and have lost another lb taking me to 9 stone 2. Just KOKO.

B - bacon and avocado
L - greek yoghurt
D - pork, brussel sprouts and leeks

And yes tamingthetoddler my body has changed post baby too. I'm lighter than before pregnancy but somehow look worse and have a wider ribcage?!

OnceUponAMidnightBeery · 06/11/2019 13:49

@GreeboIsMySpiritAnimal great photo, very inspiring. And those on the previous thread too. You're a lot braver and slimmer than I am!

Another 1lb loss here, so will be over a stone by the time I go back for blood pressure check. Fingers crossed it makes a difference.

Been having weird muscle tics and twitches for a couple of weeks, rereading the threads I realised I'm not getting anywhere near enough magnesium, so starting a supplement.

Will be meal planning and batch cooking tomorrow, @MrsGarethSouthgate's pie will definitely be included, looks fabulous.

Water. More water.

Congratulations to all with losses Grin

SittingontheSidelines · 06/11/2019 15:05

Lunch was tomatoes and mushroom cheese crusted omelette.

Tonight we're having lamb, red cabbage, samphire, kale, shallots and mushrooms.

Also had coffee at a friend house, fancied a bit of milk for a change so asked for white but it turned out to be a capachino so probably a bit carby. Damn.

@venusandmars thanks for explaining Greebo's name. I also read the misread your username as Grebol not Greebo @GreeboIsMySpiritAnimal

Kleptronic · 06/11/2019 15:14

I stayed the same. I've been doing this for years now and I think my body's all 'yeah, whatever'. Still a 3lb loss is a loss.

My lowest ever was 10st 4lb and I'm now 11st 1lb which is BMI 23 for my height. I dearly want to get back to 10st 4lb!

Dia12 · 06/11/2019 15:18

Your dinner sound yum @SittingontheSidelines making me hungry!!

I've finally had a breakthrough with my skin since committing to ditching carbs. My skin had flared up with acne thanks to taking dhea (precursor to testosterone for fertility purposes) and no matter what I tried it just didn't help - until now. Im convinced it's the change in diet.

My jeans are feeling less sprayed-on so another plus!!

Rshard · 06/11/2019 17:02

I’m intrigued by these cheese crusted omelettes - can someone tell me how please?

My skin is always better on this woe too dia, I think the water has a lot to do with it too?

BIWI · 06/11/2019 17:10

Your skin is likely to better, as well as your teeth and general oral health. Sugar reacts with bacteria in your mouth and that's what causes plaque to form.

And - according to my optician, who I saw last week, sugar is also bad for your eyesight! (no idea how though)

Ugh, had a horrid anxiety day yesterday. Felt crap, then drank red wine as part of a really chilled evening with my lovely partner calming me down. It felt good at the time, but I've been dehydrated all day and felt like absolute shite.

Breakfast - scrambled eggs, goats cheese.
Lunch - aubergine and green pepper curry with mozzarella ball.
Dinner - pork loin steaks, cream and mushroom sauce. Cauliflower.

Just KOKO - ING.

absopugginglutely · 06/11/2019 19:14

Check in...
L: some cheese and meat and cream coffee
D: leeks cooked with courgettes and butter with some feta crumbled in sausages (3g per 2 sausages)
Cream coffee
Loads of water.

SittingontheSidelines · 06/11/2019 20:02

It was @Dia12

@Rshard I folded the omelette In half, put a layer of cheese on then flipped it to cook the cheese side.

OnceUponAMidnightBeery · 06/11/2019 21:03

@SittingontheSidelines that sounds lovely, thanks for the tip Smile

L: Pate on cucumber slices, and a marmite cheese mini.

D: Just bought half a lamb for the freezer, so lamb chops fried in butter with spinach and garlic mushrooms tonight.

NSV, my work trousers are now starting to slip down. Might try on a few old pairs before the penguin waddle becomes permanent.

Where does everyone else notice the loss first?

Doilooklikeatourist · 06/11/2019 21:09

Well the water is doing it’s trick (TMI , but very nice clear wee )

B , 2 hot boiled eggs and butter ( now known as eggy Peggy ) thanks @venusandmars 😀
L butternut and celeriac soup ( not the best choice of veg , but it was a nice colour ) with a knob of butter and a glug of cream
D turkey steak with leeks and blue cheese , then courgettes , spinach , mushrooms and broccoli
Lots of water ,

I bought a really cute non stick frying pan from TKMaxx , which makes a fab 2 egg omlette , I put cheese on top when it’s bearly cooked , then flip it over ( you have to be brave ) and the cheese melts and goes crusty and lovely

@GreeboIsMySpiritAnimal, looking good 👍well done ✅

Ketomeato · 06/11/2019 22:43

I do wonder whether this WOE has some sort of effect on anxiety. Mine has been worse, but today I felt strangely fine. My theory (based on a sample of one) is that it’s the changes in blood sugar that mess with your moods and if you stick with eating no carbs then the blood sugars stay level.

NSV - I weigh the same in my clothes now as I weighed naked last week!

KondoKonvert · 06/11/2019 22:49

@OnceUponAMidnightBeery Where does everyone else notice the loss first?

I see it around my waist and spare tyre first, then my chins start to reduce! Last is always, frustratingly, across my upper thighs...right across the saddlebags!

prettybird · 06/11/2019 22:57

I'm hoping that my jowls will reduce not that they're that large and are probably more to do with the fact that I'm 58 WinkBlush

13lb to go to where I got to by last Christmas. Have a nice pair of black wool trousers I bought last December that I'm looking forward to wearing again. They are were will be again very flattering. Halo

IWillWearTheGreenWillow · 07/11/2019 07:08

Finally managed the mythical 3l water without counting decaff coffee or herbal tea yesterday! I swear I spent more time on the loo than anything else, but crossing my fingers I can keep it up.

Weight is back at 13st 1.8lb, but yesterday I measured and I've lost 3 ins off my waist in 2.5 weeks. Hoping by Christmas to be back in my lovely embroidered jeans (a non-stretch size 14 that have been strictly Standing Up Trousers in the past!). DH says he has noticed there is less of me to notice, which is nice, and I feel less like I'm bursting out of everything! I feel the tipping point on many clothes is 12st 12, so cross fingers I can keep this going and get there soon.

Today's food:
B: FF greek yoghurt and raspberries. Coffee with cream.
L: chicken thighs and mayo in lettuce wraps. Decaff with cream.
D: pork belly strips with roasted kale, buttery garlic green beans, a tiny bit of the end of the spinach and mushrooms fried in butter.

The trick with water appears to be 1.5l before lunch. If I can get that down, the rest of the day flows, as it were!

Doilooklikeatourist · 07/11/2019 07:23

First glass of water ( and mug of black coffee ) down 👍💦

Rshard · 07/11/2019 07:59

Thanks sittingonthesidelines, I will def be trying.

Round the tummy for me too onceupona

LittleSwede · 07/11/2019 08:08

I tend to loose around waist first, which is great as I'm an apple shape, or more like an egg on sticks.

Food yesterday:
B - omelette with feta a two cherry tomatoes.
L - other half of breakfast omelette
D - chicken, bacon and broccoli bake with a cheesy topping

Today:
B - Greek yogurt
L - not sure yet...
D - chicken and buttery cauliflower

venusandmars · 07/11/2019 08:21

I seem to put on weight on my tummy (apple shape) but loose it from my bum.

B - spinach and broccoli omlette
L - avocado and blue cheese salad
D - Thai green chicken curry with cauliflower rice

SittingontheSidelines · 07/11/2019 08:37

I seem to put on weight on my tummy (apple shape) but loose it from my bum.

Me too. Also clothes get tight/loose on my arms depending whether I'm going up or down.

Rayna37 · 07/11/2019 09:55

Excitedly reporting I've just ordered and eaten a "low carb stack" for breakfast in a cafe in Leamington Spa. 2 Bacon, sausage, tomatoes mushrooms topped with a fried egg. Amazing!
