Morning campers Flowers

Once more for you, the Spreadsheet of Fabulousness

I hope it's been a good week, and I hope that the scales have been kind to you this morning.

If not, and if you haven't been cheating (!) then just remember that weeks 3 & 4 are notorious for seeing very little or no weight loss. KOKO (keep on keep on) and hopefully things will soon get going again.

Here's to a good week! Smile

Wow!! Amazing what a difference!
You know, this makes me think.. never again will I think to myself "oh I only gained 5lbs" I used to think it wasn't a lot but I've only lost 5.5lbs and I feel/look so much better. I used to think 5lbs wasn't a lot when I wasn't paying attention to my weight/size but it clearly is!

AthelstaneTheWhoooOOOooo · 04/11/2019 10:20

J'arrive! You're on the spreadsheet now, LittleSwede.

Cracking pictures non and owl Flowers

I've not weighed for a few days - my wagon-burning episode on Friday led to an overnight extended bout of D&V. Have caught up on sleep a bit but stomach still like a spacehopper. Can only pray to BIWI not to hit me with the big stick as I may burst open. Grin

Serves me right; I know I can't cope with large amounts of bread, but it smelled so good... crusty with large chunks of brie... Sad Blush

LittleSwede · 04/11/2019 10:57

Thank you Athelstane, have added my weight to the spreadsheet.

Wow to non and owl.

Twit · 04/11/2019 11:00

@BIWI. Oh, definitely no cheating at all, in fact I was especially careful all week because I knew I'd probably gain a bit.

whojamaflip · 04/11/2019 11:02

Checking in and I'm down 2lb this week!!Smile so that's 8lb so far - I like this woe!

Please would someone update the spreadsheet for me (again!!Blush) - 148lb Thanks

prettybird · 04/11/2019 11:20

Half a pound down to 12st 2.5lb Smile - 4.5lb this Boot Camp and 7.5lb since I got back on the wagon (actually more than that Blush but I was in denial Wink) . I'm pleased with that as at the end of last week I was up 2lb Shock

A weekend of intermittent fasting and lots and lots of water and no nuts which I'd slipped back into last week got me my result this morning Halo

SittingontheSidelines · 04/11/2019 11:36

Yes @Nonononon I can definitely tell. Brilliant in just three weeks.
And you @VeryLittleOwl , fantastic
Lots and f good losses, well done all

I've stayed the same. I was lower in the week but though it was all LCHF know I ate too much yesterday and over the weekend as a whole had too much cream and cheese.

Rshard · 04/11/2019 12:39

Super progress on those photos nonono and verylittleowl

venusandmars · 04/11/2019 13:09

Great photos! And good to see us all keeping on during these challenging weeks.

JFDI2019 · 04/11/2019 13:30

That'll teach me for moaning about 'only' losing 1lb last weigh in - I lost absolutely zilch this week!

Oh well. I am not discouraged and will soldier on Grin

Well done on some fantastic before and after's there, people! Onward and downwards.

stayathomegardener · 04/11/2019 13:44

Please could someone take a pound off the spreadsheet for me.

This way of eating is going well but the water... I'm really struggling. Am very surprised it is that way around.

Summery1 · 04/11/2019 14:09

Down 1.4lb.
I'm absolutely thrilled.
I'm under 11 stone!! (10st 13.6lb to be exact, but still...)
It is 4lb loss this BC. 4lb may not sound like much in 3 weeks, but I had 1 bad spell in there where I was completely off plan and emergency measures were needed (exercise and Intermittent Fasts - which I find not hard to do after eating like a pig!).
I'd live very happily at this weight. I am 5ft 8 so this puts me in a healthy BMI. I was 13.5st January last year so 2.5st down from then.

I like this WOE and I will continue for now. My BMI is 23.4 (Recommended is 20 to 25)so I am certainly not underweight. I wear size 12/14 in clothing, and do not aspire to wearing a 10. All 12s would be great.

I DO have a high cholestrol and I will be back to my GP to retest in this month. I will be very interested to see if all the eggs and dairy have driven it up. I'll let you now.

BIWI & Athelstan this programme is so great. Thank you for all that you do.

Cauliflowerpower · 04/11/2019 14:23

Well done everyone. You're all doing do well and the progress proves are brilliant!

I've been a CF (carby fucker) this weekend.... I don't know why I do it. I know this woe works..... just felt a bit low last week and blah blah blah. Stupid excuses.

Anyhow. Restarted today and didn't weigh in but will tomorrow....

B - none
L - salad and rollitos
D- cauliflower cheese soup with bacon

Nonononon · 04/11/2019 15:05

Thanks for the kind words everyone Smile

So I've just had lunch there, really wasn't hungry till just now so thats a 21.5hr fast from yesterday until today.
L was: bag of mixed pea shoots (again.. but so lovely) half an avocado (again.. but I've only just realised how lovely they are, and how did I miss this!!?) a chicken thigh, some bacon and a big dollop of mayo.

Not sure what dinner will be.
The bucher gave me some marrow bones (for free) this afternoon so they're on the cooker and I'll have some lovely broth by this time tomorrow.

Nonononon · 04/11/2019 15:06

Sorry.. far too many "lovely"s in there Blush ha!

KondoKonvert · 04/11/2019 15:30

Wow @Nonononon and @VeryLittleOwl - those are some amazing NSV!

I haven't taken any more progress photos but maybe I should!!

ShagMeRiggins · 04/11/2019 16:34

Stupid excuses..

Yes, they are, csuliflowerpower. And we all have them, so we get it.

Ask yourself why you did it, and how can you do something better for yourself next time. Flowers

ShagMeRiggins · 04/11/2019 16:34

Ps—I’m loving the photos. Clearly inspired by visuals more than numbers!

IWillWearTheGreenWillow · 04/11/2019 17:53

Great losses all round and loving the NSV pictures (never in a million years am I doing that!).

Discovered to my horror this morning that Marmite is insanely carby (30g /100g or thereabouts) and is made with extracts of rye, barley and wheat so isn't gluten-free either, and seems to be something else that upsets My Internals. Bother.

Also, a question about intermittent fasting - I can sort of do it in that if I have a couple of coffees with cream at 7am I can not eat until 11am. However, I still need lunch at 3pm, I can't get to a main meal at 6.30 without it. Then I don't eat again until 11am the following day, apart from the coffee.

Is that how it's meant to work? Or have I totally misunderstood?

BIWI · 04/11/2019 17:58

If you can eat 100g of Marmite you're a better woman than me!

BIWI · 04/11/2019 18:00

You might find this piece helpful re intermittent fasting. But basically it's up to you how long you fast for. If you've eaten your dinner by 7pm and then don't eat anything until 11, then you've done16:8.

OP posts:
Nonononon · 04/11/2019 18:28

Careful with the cream in your coffee if you're fasting. Apparently cream can kick some people out of their fast.. best just to have black coffee then have one with cream in at meal times if you what it. That's what I do anyway.
So really, nothing but black tea/coffee or water/some herbal teas/bone broth when you're fasting.

(Info from dr berg who I fear I'm now in love with not me so don't shoot me if it's wrong)

GreeboIsMySpiritAnimal · 04/11/2019 18:51

Haven't weighed in yet, but have a fabulous NSV to report:

A 21 year old actress I was a dance class with today told me I'm in "incredible shape" and asked me what my secret is! GrinGrinGrin

Nonononon · 04/11/2019 18:53

Just looked into that a little more.
Seems that a small amount of cream/fat doesn't make much difference, but best if you can can keep it to just one in the morning.

8Track · 04/11/2019 19:01

Blimey you lot, amazing losses and kokos today!

Shag I'm not an official partner but have been 4 times now after a tip off from a mate who'd been to an event catered by the.; they are absolutely FAB!! Met some lovely chaps on Sunday, and lovely to see a couple of the 'boys' from February now leading the Front of House service. I won't mention the food in detail because because it was very off BC.....but delishhh!!

Today:
B - 2 boiled eggs, 2 slices butter, bit of Maggi seasoning.
L - tub of m&s antipasti, avocado, mozzarella ball.
D - I think it will be pork loin steaks, fried. Cauli rice. With spinach. Sounds a bit plain so I might decide that I can make some kind of sauce out of double cream......

Tomorrow is:
B - 2 eggs, boiled, butter, Maggi seasoning.
L - avocado, Cheddar and ........
D - creamed celeriac topped shepherds pie.

Also need to make brinjal bhaji before my aubergine goes all squodgy......
