Morning campers Flowers

Once more for you, the Spreadsheet of Fabulousness

I hope it's been a good week, and I hope that the scales have been kind to you this morning.

If not, and if you haven't been cheating (!) then just remember that weeks 3 & 4 are notorious for seeing very little or no weight loss. KOKO (keep on keep on) and hopefully things will soon get going again.

Here's to a good week! Smile

I have a very much TMI Blush NSV that I was debating sharing - but I've decided to do so in the hope that I'm not the only one Wink.

When I get above a certain weight, my pelvic floor (slightly damaged after having ds) doesn't always cope when I'm doing high impact exercise Blush - so I need to make sure that I'm not wearing white knickers while exercising so that they don't get stained. Blush

I'm no longer suffering from that problem! Grin

(And yes, I do do my pelvic floor exercises regularly but I've lost my cough reflex and Pilates generally keeps most of the muscles strong to compensate for the one side that was damaged).

venusandmars · 05/11/2019 14:11

greebols fantastic! you are doing brilliantly.

prettybird · 05/11/2019 14:45

Looking fab Greebols Thanks

Rayna37 · 05/11/2019 15:49

Amazing Greebo!

B: scrambled egg
Snack of nuts, about 30g, mostly Brazils
Lunch was leftover cauli rice and chicken & veg tikka curry- should have been last night's dinner but I barely ate any after finishing off some celery and Boursin I found hanging around whilst I was cooking it! Pre-bootcamp I'd just have cleared my plate anyway. Greek yogurt.
D: salmon fillet and green beans in the oven, Cavolo Nero.

Rshard · 05/11/2019 19:00

You look gorgeous greebol!

Nonononon · 05/11/2019 19:31

Oooh greebol what an inspiration!!

I've been feeling a little bit off colour today. Think I might be coming down with something and didn't sleep too well last night.
But I did stick to the plan, although could have done with more veg but hey ho.

L: kale, cauliflower, sprouts and probably too much belly pork in bone broth. (I left most of the sprouts, all the veg was left over from sunday and tasted weird which was a shame, I'll have the same dish tomorrow but with freshly cooked veg instead)
D: bag of mixed salad leaves, tuna mayo, pickled cucumber and some feta.

I know I said I was going to cut back on the dairy but, for the first time since I started this I was tempted to go off plan today, purely because I just don't feel right so I bought some feta and that felt like a treat.

I'll have a nice big mug of bone broth later tonight too.

VeryLittleOwl · 05/11/2019 19:39

Amazing, Greebo!

IWillWearTheGreenWillow · 05/11/2019 19:46

Wow, Greebo! Outstanding!

Got it wrong today, I think, nowhere near FLGV.
B: Coffee with cream, left over IPD moussaka (with extra spinach in)
L: cucumber with paté, coffee with cream.
S: mini babybel, a few slices of salami
D: smoked basa fillet with mushrooms, broccoli and spinach, all fried in butter.

2.5l water so far, about to finish off the day with a mint and liquorice tea.

Cauliflowerpower · 05/11/2019 19:50

That's amazing @greebol!!! Well done you!

Feeling a bit sicky (in fact was sick last night) not sure if its because they're was too much cream in my soup which can upset me.or my arthritis meds which have just Increased... felt sicky again after lunch. I made the blue cheese mushroom pie which again was quite rich. I stopped though and am just having a little soup for dinner.

B - none
L - blue cheese and mushroom pie and salad
D - cauliflower cheese soup

@Nono cream upsets my tummy sometimes and has made me dash to the loo. Could it be something like that.

My arthritis is awful at the mo. My ankle and one of my toes in particular. If someone told me they were broken I'd not be surprised... waiting for a call from the rheumatology team... hopefully I'll get an appointment squeezed in and they'll be able to do something...

Anyway. Enough complaining.

Water water water and KOKO

GreeboIsMySpiritAnimal · 05/11/2019 19:50

Thank you all. Should say I didn't post that photo just to show off, but to show that this WOE really does work! I don't count calories, I don't ever go hungry, I really enjoy my food, and thanks to BIWI and bootcamp, I've lost nearly 3 stone in 6 months. Grin

ShagMeRiggins · 05/11/2019 20:02

It’s a fabulous result for you, Greebo. You’re looking (and probably feeling) great.

I am sitting in the dining room of possibly England’s dodgiest Premier Inn, eating utter shite for dinner, next to a table of loud, foul-mouthed men.

Now I don’t mind a good swear word, I use them liberally myself, but the only positive I can take from this experience is to take notes so I can create authentic characters in future books. Grin

KOKO & WATER! WATER! WATER!

absopugginglutely · 05/11/2019 20:02

@greebol Amazing!!!
So inspiring!!

Today:
B: omelette loads of butter 1 litre water
L: bag of watercress cucumber three cherry tomato, tuna mayo
1 litre water
D:chicken, broccoli, buttered asparagus and mushrooms, courgette, blob of sour cream abd 1/2 litre water
3 coffee with cream.
Snacks: weird cheese string thing (dairy-lea) 1x Still need my last half litre.

Soooo tired today!

Nonononon · 05/11/2019 20:25

Oh that's a really good point about the cream cauli, I'm not used to having lots of it/often and funnily enough i havent had that issue today and haven't eaten any cream, I had quite a bit of it last week so I'll keep an eye on it.
Thanks

DownUdderer · 06/11/2019 07:04

Great photo! @greebols

absopugginglutely · 06/11/2019 07:16

@greebols can I ask if you lost all the weight you wanted to in the first few months and now you’re on maintenance?
If so, what does maintenance look like for you?
Can you now afford to have the odd carb if you’re at a wedding/ party?
Sorry to bombard you with questions, I’m just interested in the rapidity of the weight loss process,
Thank you Smile

TamingToddler · 06/11/2019 07:17

The weight I lost from my stomach bug has come back, understandably. I'm only 6lbs away from where I was before I had my son (size 6/8) but I'm still a firm size 12. Think I just need to get my head around the fact your body changes shape when you've had a baby. My boobs are now the same size before I gave birth too, but I need a much more supportive bra, I'll thank breastfeeding for that. I think I'm finding it difficult because I don't look like a typical 22 year old, everyone else is so slim and toned and I'm stuck with a mum tum and lopsided boobs Confused

IWillWearTheGreenWillow · 06/11/2019 07:29

Ah, Taming, it's hard when you feel your beloved DC have left you with someone else's body! And it's true that not everyone snaps back to pre-pregnancy size with pre-pregnancy weight, because of the changes they've been through. After 4 DC my 26" waist is never coming back without good corseting (and certainly not at the weight I am now!), but you could look at toning in addition to weightloss if you have the time and energy. In the past, I've had some success with Lucy Wyndham-Read on Youtube and her 7 minute workouts (they take about 14 minutes all told with explanations etc). Does your DS nap/play enough for you to squeeze one in?

And now, having talked about it, I'm off to do one of her workouts. I've been avoiding them, but it does make me feel better to have done something first thing to get the day going.

TamingToddler · 06/11/2019 07:41

@IWillWearTheGreenWillow I'm glad it isn't just me. Everyone said I'd bounce back as I'm young, that is a lie Grin to be honest I do have the time to do at home work outs, my son sleeps 90 minutes in the day still, and I work 9-5.30 3 days a week so I could fit it in. I struggle with the motivation, but I think I might just set myself a 30 day goal, and try and crack on.

LittleSwede · 06/11/2019 08:23

What an amazing result grebools! Very inspiring for those of us at the beginning of this journey.

SittingontheSidelines · 06/11/2019 09:00

@Cauliflowerpower that sounds painful, hope things improve soon
@GreeboIsMySpiritAnimal brilliant. A lesson too us all. And I bet you drink your @water.
ShagMeRiggins I'll be looking for books about gross men in premier inns in the near future
My post thing is playing up and. Can't see what I've just written/am writing. It's hidden Nader a banner. So no way of knowing if it's full of my usual typos. Apologies in advance.

Yesterday I had fried Brussels sprouts for lunch

A pre dinner snack of olives.

Dinner was full English minus the carbs bits.

venusandmars · 06/11/2019 10:09

taming there will be changes to your body that you notice that possibly others won't. My first dc pushed my ribs out on one side, (I've got a short body, dc had a long body so nestled under my ribs) They've not recovered even after 30 years.

I'm Smile at the different ways we interpret greebo's name. Typeface makes a capital 'i' look the same as a lowercase 'L' and it took me some judicious googling to see that your name is Greebo-Is-My-Spirit-Animal. In my head I'd been calling you GREEBOLS for months! I found THIS about greebo and now I don't know whether to think of you as Mr Puss-puss or gerroffyebugger Grin

Food today:
B - avocado, butter coffee
L - boiled egg mashed with butter (known in my childhood as 'eggy-peggy')
D - salmon, broccoli, chard

Still taking it easy to let my tummy recover from whatever upset it...

D -

venusandmars · 06/11/2019 10:13

taming I've also remembered my formerly flat-chested friend who delighted in having boobs for the first during pregnancy and breast feeding. Afterwards she lamented their loss saying: "All I've got left now is nipples, and even they sag!"

GreeboIsMySpiritAnimal · 06/11/2019 10:33

Hello, np, happy to answer questions. Yes, I finished the last bootcamp pretty much at my goal weight, which was 10 and a half stone. That gave me a BMI of 23, and was the lightest I could ever remember being as an adult.

When bootcamp finished I was still enjoying this WOE and not feeling deprived, so I just kept going, and the weight kept coming off. I'm now happy to maintain at around 10 stone - sometimes a bit under, sometimes a lb or two over. Any thinner would be too thin for my taste and height. Technically I could lose another stone and a half and still have a healthy BMI, but I think I'd look frail at that weight.

As far as how maintenance looks for me, it means I will occasionally eat carbs but they have to be worth it. So I rarely eat bread, but if I'm in a nice restaurant and they serve lovely, warm, freshly baked rolls, I'll have one. But just one - back in the day I'd truffle the lot! And the other day I was in a cafe which had a spiced pumpkin cheesecake as a special, so I had a slice (it was delicious) - but when someone brought a Colin the Caterpillar into the theatre for their birthday the other day, I was happy to swerve that!

And yes, as @SittingontheSidelines (I think?) mentioned, I still drink all my water!

absopugginglutely · 06/11/2019 12:02

@GreeboIsMySpiritAnimal thank you- this is just what I needed to read as I have been stuck at 11 stone for the past three weigh ins even though I lost over half a stone in the first two weeks. I’m hopeful for next Monday’s weigh in.
Thanks for answering all the questions- I can o my dream of being 10 stone!
