Morning all

Hopefully there will be some losses to record on the Spreadsheet of Fabulousness but please don't be disheartened if you didn't lose (or even see a small gain.

Weeks 3 & 4 are notorious for this. Your body is getting used to the new regime, but if you stick to it, then you should see things get moving again from next week.

If you are struggling, make sure that you are following Bootcamp rules to the letter; consider whether or not dairy is an issue for you - and if you've moved to Bootcamp Light then perhaps consider going back to Bootcamp for another week or so?

Whatever the case, don't develop a case of the fuckits and jump head first into the biscuits. That's the only way to guarantee that you will gain weight!

Looked. Can’t find Find On.

Oh, the irony.

Youwanapizzame · 04/06/2019 20:35

@shagmeriggins don't apologise! It tickled me. I have lost over 3 stones mostly from the top.so its likely I DO need a remeasure. I think it's mostly what I call my 2nd pair of boobs that has shrunk... classy eh!

ShagMeRiggins · 04/06/2019 20:39

Ps to Rshard happy I make you laugh; it’s an empowering feeling to be laughed with rather than laughed at. Mwah!

ShagMeRiggins · 04/06/2019 20:41

pizzame, apology withdrawn then.

How many pairs of boob did you have? Shock Wink. Well done evicting the 2nd pair.

blackteaplease · 04/06/2019 20:47

@Shag. I'm on chrome and I have 3 little vertical dots next to the web address where you can open a new tab, share, bookmark etc. Find is about halfway down the list.

venusandmars · 04/06/2019 21:04

I make little notes too, if I'm replying to lots of posts (too many times when I've tried to be more 'technological' and lost an excellently composed, witty, clever, droll reply....)

I do wonder what my dh thinks when he comes across scraps of paper with 'shag me - more fat; greebo - delphiniums, camel toe skinny arse, demented - come back'. I can only assume he doesn't read them or I might otherwise be locked up by now Grin

NigellaAwesome · 04/06/2019 21:14

@ShagMeRiggins  Grin no worries.

@18pagesfrontandback the meatzzas are in the meat section beside the burgers.

starsky22 · 04/06/2019 21:42

Thanks for the reminder shag just downed my glass of water

Has a lovely day of food:
B almond milk latte - tried roasted almond milk for the first time and it was yummy!
L spinach, courgette and feta frittata
D cod & prawns in a creamy garlic sauce with broccoli
Plus a teaspoon on peanutbutter as snack

Got leftover frittata for lunch tomorrow and have cooked some sausages & mushrooms for breakfast. Find it a lot easier to stick this woe when I have my meals planned.

TheWayOfTheWorld · 04/06/2019 21:59

I've just got home, went to cuddle DH who recoiled in horror and told me I stink of ketones (aka nail varnish remover) - didn't have a clue; I hope I am not stinking to everyone else...

No dinner, lunch was very filling and I had a creamy coffee late afternoon.

BIWI · 04/06/2019 22:05

@ShagMeRiggins - the best way I find to deal with lots of different posts is to access Mumsnet (on the laptop) using Chrome, then I can open Mumsnet in two different windows or tabs. I have one open that I post my replies into and the other one for scrolling up and down the thread.

Youwanapizzame · 04/06/2019 22:10

Dinner was amazeballs... yum

Almahart · 04/06/2019 22:20

Lol at you lot and your post it notes

Breakfast was salami, Gouda and cucumber. Had lovely leftovers of roast pork and cauli cheese for lunch, hm burger and avocado for dinner. A couple of squares of dark chocolate

prettybird · 04/06/2019 22:23

Shagmeriggins - I understand where you're coming from re the app - but if I'm on my very, very old iPhone, it's the only thing that works. The mobile app is far too clunky.

On my laptop, I'm still on and won't change from Wink MN Classic Grin

(been on MN far too long since 2001ShockBlush)

Notlostjustexploring · 04/06/2019 22:39

Harrumph.

Toddler has an ear infection and has been prescribed foul abs. To get them down him i need to employ hefty bribery in the form of chocolate, forcing me down the chocolate aisle. An aisle that I'd been firmly avoiding this bootcamp.

So what did I sodding do? Bought myself some chocolate. Then ate some. Then more. Thus demonstrating to myself that I can't do moderation....

I'm irritated at myself as the scales were on the downward spiral today. Honestly. I actually feel a bit sickened, as of course it wasn't 70% stuff (bought that too), but milky sugary stuff.

Well. I've drunk some water, I'm off to bed, and husband is hiding the chocolate before he goes to work tomorrow.

Rayna37 · 04/06/2019 22:59

B: scrambled eggs
L: 2 boiled eggs with salad and celeriac remoulade; mascarpone cream and raspberries.
D: pork chop, buttery kale and garlic green beans. Bit of 90% chocolate (ok THREE squares not the approved 2 and I had a cracker with a pile of butter on and a bite of chocolate biscuit in work)

Nice drop on the scales this morning so hoping to hold or continue the trend. I ran 6 miles yesterday too Halo mainly as I'm a travelling reserve this weekend for a relay slot in a big running event and feeling potentially out of my depth Shock

18pagesfrontandback · 04/06/2019 23:37

come on up Notlost ‘‘tis but a mere blip. Takes more than that to derail a boot-camper. According to these thar threads (not sure why I’ve gone old cod-northern), it’s ‘appened tut lot of us. Tmw is a new day and all that.

I’m on the mobile website via safari. The shortcuts are new since I last posted anything on MN. Am finding it really annoying that whenever I try to use the bold shortcut it deletes the username because it doesn’t recognise the ‘word’ and I end up having to manually input anyway. Is that just a predictive text thing and if I override it eventually it will accept my new ‘words’, as per Apple predictive text on messaging etc?

18pagesfrontandback · 04/06/2019 23:41

Thanks for meatzza sat nav. The hunt continues! I gather from previous posts on here that campers have stores a bit hit and miss anyway.
I did see a mahoosive burger wrapped in bacon in there. £8 it was. For one. Size of a dinner plate-ish. Reminded of something from Man V Food. I’m guessing the meatzza would’ve been near that, had they had any.

18pagesfrontandback · 04/06/2019 23:42

*campers have FOUND stores a bit hit and miss

m0therofdragons · 04/06/2019 23:46

@Youwanapizzame there's a significant difference in your pictures and not just that the mirror looks fab on the wall Grin just imagine what the difference will be like at the end of boot camp!

Tried to buy a new outfit today but as I only get 30 minutes for lunch it was quite rushed and nothing fitted right. One size 12 jump suit was massive. I need to clarify that even at a stone lighter than I am now I was not a size 10 so clearly the sizing in new look is properly bonkers! Gave up and went back to work. I hate women's sizing. How anyone successfully buys online is beyond me (I detest posting stuff back)

Summery1 · 05/06/2019 01:02

Home tonight, to weigh tomorrow. Overall I think I've been quite good - no cake etc.

What was the multivitamin/supplement recommended? I'm quite tired some days.
B. Scrambled eggs with spinach & feta. Asparagus and tomato.
L: salmon with pesto and green salad dressed with olive oil. Coffee with cream.
Snack: homemade stock with cream. (Was delish)
D: fridge pickings - 4 feta stuffed chillis, coleslaw, paté, small spoon of peanut butter, square of 80% chocolate.

I felt sluggish all day, then decided to go swimming with my club, and felt great in the water.

waiting I get where you're at. Good advice offered.

Summery1 · 05/06/2019 01:15

I've just found it. Electrolyte tabs.

Almahart · 05/06/2019 06:57

18pages I saw that huge burger thingy too. Yikes. The meazza was near that in my M&S- it’s in a little tray like a quiche

SittingontheSidelines · 05/06/2019 07:06

@blackteaplease how do you do that please? (find on page). It takes me ages trawling through recipes.

SittingontheSidelines · 05/06/2019 07:09

I posted to soon. I see you've already answered that @blackteaplease
