Starting tomorrow's thread early as I'm not around in the morning

Here's the Spreadsheet of Fabulousness

So far there seem to be some great results already, so I'm hoping they've continued over the weekend.

I love this week because the first weigh-ins are often spectacular, but also all those who were less than convinced are amazed how much they've lost!

It really sounds to me like people have really got to grips with this WOE, which is fantastic.

Here's to you all, and wishing you a good result on the scales tomorrow. (Or with the tape measure or the clothes you're trying on, if that's your preferred method of monitoring progress!)

I love the dress pizza - you will see a big change to the fit in the 8 and a bit weeks we’ve got left if you follow the plan closely.

My lunch today:

Leftover ratatouille with a little bit of fried pancetta added, with an egg on top, baked in the oven. Coriander (I didn’t have any parsley), spring onion and chilli powder to serve. On the side, chipolata sausages with some whole grain mustard and a couple of baby plum tomatoes for freshness.

Really tasty.

We’re having crispy duck for dinner which I will have wrapped in gem lettuce leaves. Might do a small portion of Brussels sprouts as well.

I’m sitting in a sandwich bar eating egg mayo and salad - ducked out of a sandwich conference lunch. I thought I might fast but I’m starving

Had 170gm pot of Total FF yogurt for breakfast.

Just had a salad for lunch (rocket, spinach, avocado, radish, cucumber, basil oil, vegan mayo, tofu). 2 sticks of celery with PB (permitted vegetarian) and olives.

2ltrs of water already so looking good for my 3-4 today.

Since we're doing it! Ways I know i'm in ketosis:

Weird taste in mouth
Insomnia (that's me, not everyone gets it)
Ketostix

AND, I found this out recently...

Buy a really cheap breathalyzer (needs to be a cheap one) and blow. Any 'alcohol' is ketosis. It's also fun!

Thewayoftheworld green veg! Definitely not enough greens on this thread for my liking. It might not be lovely Brussels season but kale or Cavolo Nero sautéed in butter is hard to beat on this WOE.

I have sone cavolo Nero seedlings coming away nicely Smile Plus a load of other brassicas - but they'll be longer before I can crop them. Salad leaves (both the "bright & spicy mix" and the lettuce mix) are nearly ready to "cut and come again".

While must of us are on here to lose weight, as well as associated health reasons, it's also worth reminding ourselves not to beat ourselves up and that we should be happy in our skins (even if we'd like less skin Wink). I shared this meme on How to get a bikini body 4 years ago today and I still love it.

Hi everyone. No breakfast for me today as I needed to be in work for 7am. Yoghurt and chicken salad for lunch. Dinner tonight will be the M&S chicken pakoras. Thank you to whomever suggested those. Alongside mixed green veg. I’ve noticed I’m able to take in more water these last couple of days. Also...IM IN KETO!!!! Yay!!! POAS (never thought I’d have to type that again Wink) and it’s nice and dark! It’s soooo motivating!

Haven’t RTFT yet, having a horror of a day.
In LC terms food fine, water at less than half so far. Aiming to rectify that as of now.

Everyone is having such lovely meals and I'm planning an omelette! Need a rethink so will study the fridge when I get home. Definitely need to use up cauliflower. Shop is being delivered at 9pm so I'm on scraps. I use a lot more fresh food which is fab but does mean that by the end of the week the offering is rubbish.

I have no brand loyalty and usually split between Tesco and ASDA but Waitrose has just started free delivery in my area so I'm testing it out next week. Does anyone have any special suggestions?

I never thought to do that: I'm probably 3rd from the left, top line as I am fortunate enough to have a good waist and good boobs, even when I'm 2 stone heavier than I'd like to be Smile and have more of a tummy than I'd like Wink

To give myself credit, I've always had the confidence to wear a bikini (stuff what people think, both re my weight and even though I'm now 58), even when I'm a stone (or more) heavier Grin

Just need to work on my tummy! Wink

I bought both types and also some chicken pakoras which I have eaten on the top of the bus. They were delish

Thank you very much pretty bird ,I’ve been good so far and relieved to know that a fruit tea has not derailed me today.

Have a whole chicken in my Instant pot, which I will crisp up in the oven and add a load of buttery veg

Just thinking of pan frying some cooked cabbage and cauliflower as a side , will report back

I know the Lidl bratwurst are surprisingly incredibly low in carbs Smile

TheWaiting. The Ketostix can be really motivating 😊

However, not to rain on your parade, but how are you doing with drinking water? Ideally you should be in the low-middle colours of the range, not the top. It generally means you’re not drinking enough water.

Mmmm I've just had sausages with garlic and herb roasted portobello mushroom for dinner (plus side salad). It was so delicious.

I got caught out for lunch today as I was running late for the train. I ended up with the olive and feta snack pot from lidl that id packed for emergencies and the cheese and ham from the middle of a sandwich. Not ideal, must have more veg tomorrow.
