As the only person here who knows where you live, @Livelongandprosper you'd better text me if you get stuck!
Some mixed results overall being reported. Well done those of you who are seeing the weight come off, even if it slow.
@BrassicaBabe I feel your pain, so will have a good look at what you post tomorrow.
But overall, it's fair to say that alcohol and portion sizes (and possibly dairy) are the things that keep being mentioned in relation to gains/no losses.
Remember - all the time you're drinking alcohol, you're preventing your body from burning fat. It will simply be burning the alcohol.
Portion sizes are definitely worth keeping an eye on; I read this recently:
We eat off of big plates. Since 1960 the overall surface area of an average dinner plate has increased 36 percent. The average dinner plate we commonly use today measures 11 or 12 inches across. A few decades ago plates measured 7 to 9 inches.

And it's really worth seeing if dairy is an issue for you. Butter doesn't count, but consider a couple of days without milk, cream, yoghurt and cheese and see if that makes any difference.
Other things to consider if you're not losing:
- poor sleep
- stress
- citric acid
- ibuprofen
Apparently all these can impede weight loss. (No idea why citric acid and ibuprofen do, but the first two are about hormone problems, mainly to do with cortisol I think)
