3lb off ( which is the 3lb I gained the week before 😀)
At least it’s off , anyway ... back to 11st , hope to be in the 10s this time next week , though it’s the works party on Saturday night 🍾🎄

Daisyhere There was a very interesting bit about roiboos tea on Food Unwrapped once and apparently to get the said benefits of drinking it you should drink 6 cups a day.

Thanks for the new thread @BIWI.

After deluding myself that I’m ‘broadly maintaining’ when I’m actually heavier than when this boot camp started, I’ve had a stern word with myself and drawn the line .

I’m starting over as of today.

B - 2 slice bacon, avocado
L - chicken, hm Greek salad, hm coleslaw.
D - will be eggs

Litre of water gone, 1 to go.

I posted on last weeks thread about some brocolli rice and cauliflower rice I've bought but am not sure what to do with it.

Any ideas?

Fry it with plenty of butter and whatever seasoning you like (cumin, chili flakes, nutmeg....) and serve along side meat dishes.

Alternatively, have a look through the veggie recipe thread that is sticked to the top of this topic and see if there are any other ideas.

11 stone 3.25 lb this morning: down 1 3/4lb from last week's weigh-in Smile but up half a pound from Saturday's weight. But given the wine that was consumed on Saturday night and more wine last night (only a glass as I was driving, but it was a lovely Chateau Musar) and some apple charlotte and custard Blush last night at my dad's, I'm pretty pleased Smile (I've started offering to make the desserts for Sunday nights at my dad's, so that I can make sure that they are low carb but last night he said he was sorted Hmm).

That's over a half a stone this Boot Camp, which is fine by me as I'm getting closer to target and I've also been doing this a long time, so you don't get the same initial whoosh Grin

I’ve used celeriac rice to make a paella type dish &scifi, is lovely. I use a recipe from Ocado

Still 10 stone 13. Angry. Nearly six stone off and that last 6 lbs is driving me bonkers. Ah well, I’m not prepared to do the calorie counting that started the craziness, so I guess I just need to koko. While remembering that I should ditch 4-5 lbs of boobage quite soon anyway Grin

Pretty bird I think we are the exact same weight. For the last two weeks I seem to go from 11 3 to 11 4 every couple of days. Today was 11 3 so I hope my weight has now settled. So annoying as I have been really strick with myself for the last few weeks.

The egg fast last week seemed to get me moving downwards again Smile It also seems to have cured me of the psychological need habit of snacking Grin

I've also got back into the habit of having dods of butter. I've found in the past that this, combined with plenty of water, can keep the scales moving in the right direction Wink

Bit of a hiccup with the scales last week... why is the real figure always the higher one? Now they are working fine and I've corrected my (sadly much better) loss for last week. Back on track though - despite a weekend away.

A cold seems to be developing. (Tickle in throat and tight feeling in chest.) Any ideas on fending it off in a low carb way? (I understand that real studies do suggest that Zinc is good.)

Evening, feeling pretty good, 2 whole lovely lb's off this week making a total of 7.2 this bootcamp. It's been a battle this time, but I think I'm beginning to win, really noticing a lack of hunger.

prettybird and ilovecherries your loses are really inspiring, thank you for your input it really helps to keep me focused.
Hope your cold buggers off soon wildheart deep hot bath and an early night always feels like it helps.

@Scifi101 I make a sort-of egg-fried rice with cauliflower rice. (I've never tried broccoli rice but guess that would work too?)

I make my thin omelette first - one egg, beaten, and then made into an omelette, let it cool and then slice into thin strips.

In a wok, stir-fry some chopped shallots, and then tip in the 'rice' and fry till it's cooked (only about 3-4 minutes). at the last minute, add the egg, and also some soy sauce. Sometimes I throw in some chopped spring onions or even a few peas, just for a bit of colour

Chuffed today - 3lbs off this week, which is more than my usual. Think it was a mini whoosh! Couple of pounds left until I'm officially overweight (instead of obese Grin).

Really need to work on drinking more water - I'm also a rooibos fan and have a couple of mugs a day.

I've not been posting for a while as the kids broke my scales!! I don't feel like I've lost anything more so need to get on it again. Definitely not drinking anywhere near enough water. 1/2 litre if I'm lucky!

1lb on for me this week, but pretty pleased with progress overall, I’m still at a stone off this bootcamp. Sorry, a day late with weigh in. Got dressed yesterday then remembered I was meant to weigh but by then I’d had a cup of tea!

Need to keep drinking my water.
