Unfortunately the spreadsheet isn’t in my sights as I can’t access it on my iPad 😮

Could someone please post the link for me?

Some good results being reported on the last thread so let’s hope there are more to come!

Good luck everyone

Count me in for the 4lb club! I'm determined to get into the 13's before Christmas (currently at 14st 7, but I'm due a woosh and need a kick up the backside to keep going!)

Been looking back at my graphs and they're going in the right direction, but just keep having a climb after a fall. Need to maintain the fall!

Back into my old jeans today. The tightness of the waistband is reminding me to stay on plan Grin

Rshard · 05/12/2018 11:15

Great NSV to be back in your old jeans @collector

Doilooklikeatourist · 05/12/2018 19:38

After a dreadful day yesterday ( snacked on 3 satsumas in the evening, as I was alone and bored , looked up the carb value {shock } so had 3 chocolate digestives to make things worse )
So , this morning , no breakfast
Lunch boiled broccoli , chopped up and eaten hot with butter and cream
Dinner
Turkey breast , homemade courgette rice , mushrooms , cauliflower and broccoli with cheesy cream sauce ,
Loads of water ... loads
Not so much KOKO more Back On. Back On

prettybird · 05/12/2018 22:21

Collector - ups and downs are normal for weight loss. As long as the overall trend is down, that's all that matters Smile

.....the evidence is in those jeans Grin

Doilooklikeatourist - good for you for getting back on track. Next time you won't punish yourself for the satsumas with the sabotage of chocolate digestives Confused Instead, you'll say at least you'd had some fruit and enjoyed it, but next time if you really need some fruit, have some strawberries Grin Or have some pork scratchings in the house to snack on. Or cheese triangles/other cheese if you don't like/eat pork scratchings.

Wildheartsease · 05/12/2018 23:55

Still feeling a bit rubbish with this cold, but not off the wagon into carby-pastures yet.
Missing honey/lemon but rose-hip tea is helping.

prettybird · 06/12/2018 08:18

Rose-hip tea sounds nice. I also like lemon and ginger tea when I've got a cold. Smile

BIWI · 06/12/2018 08:20

Bet you never thought you'd feel guilty for eating satsumas, did you @Doilooklikeatourist?!

In the great scheme of things, the fruit isn't that bad - it's the biscuits that were the problem, along with the emotional eating. Hope you're feeling better soon though.

@Wildheartsease - sorry you're poorly. Hope you're better soon, too!

LeapinLizards · 06/12/2018 08:58

Sick house here too, though it's sickly child not me. @wildheartease, hope you're on the mend very soon.

I am sticking to plan and the scales are going in the right direction - hope the same is true for you, fellow 4lbers, and hope the scales say the same on weigh-in day - but, man alive!, it's hard going. I'm finding myself so tempted by everything and I'm fighting the fuck-its several times on a daily basis. I am feeling my resolve is a bit stronger now that I can see my discipline is paying off and hoping that will carry me through the next few days.

I've not experienced this before where I feel like indulging in carby twatness but still keep going on HFLC - usually, I'm either very focused on HFLC and not tempted OR I give in to it and dive headfirst into a big bag of crisps.

@doilooklikeatourist think about the vitamin C you'll have gained from the satsumas as you get back on the wagon.

KOKO!

tootstastic · 06/12/2018 11:10

@LeapinLizards I love your 'fighting the fuck-its' phrase. That's what I feel I'm doing day in day out too.

The thing that's most spurring me on and helping to fight the fuck-its is the thought that, if I stop, I may not make it back. I have 131 pounds to lose in total, so still 106 to go and I think I just have to KOKO until it's all off.

I'm ticking off my little goals one at a time. One of them was an event last sat that I'd have felt far more self-conscious at if I hadn't started losing the weight when I did. The next event on my list is this Friday and I tried on my outfit last night. Not only does it fit, but it actually looks very flattering. Quite a few things that were unwearable 2 months ago now fit. My wardrobe is slowly growing.

I'm just keeping these goals in mind and thinking about what I'll wear, based on what I think will fit. It's keeping me going and makes me walk back out of the kitchen whenever I feel like snacking.

prettybird · 06/12/2018 12:21

That's a brilliant attitude tootstastic Grin

I'm sure you'll get lots of compliments to motivate you at the even tomorrow. Smile (and if you don't - YOU know that you're now wearing things that you previously weren't able to, so are making progress Wink)

Rshard · 06/12/2018 12:36

Also love the fighting the fuck it’s @leapin!

You’re doing so well @toots, very positive.

Another day on track yesterday so pleased with that. Didn’t have breakfast this morning as dh ate the last eggs - is that grounds for divorce???

Justmuddlingalong · 06/12/2018 12:58

DP's birthday today. He'll be having sirloin, baby boilers, peas, carrots, roasted courgette and mushroom sauce. I'll be missing out all the carby shit and then having an early night. Not because he's on to a promise, but because he says he's opening the tin of Celebrations. 😉

prettybird · 06/12/2018 13:04

LTB Rshard8 Wink

tootstastic · 06/12/2018 14:02

Thanks @prettybird and @Rshard...you lot are massively helping me stay on track.

And @Rshard I'd say eating the your last egg is tantamount to unreasonable behaviour. He'd better get eating humble pie for the next few meals!!

Rshard · 06/12/2018 14:10

I know right!

Collectorofcookbooks · 06/12/2018 17:28

Just nibbling on some extra strong cheddar cheese to get me through til dinner.

Had sliced gammon and 2 poached eggs for breakfast and Heinz chicken soup for lunch.

Now absolutely desperate to eat (fighting the fuck it’s!) but having planned my nice dinner of roast veg with halloumi I’m damned if I’m going to break before it’s ready 😄

Wildheartsease · 06/12/2018 19:09

Is that enough food Collectorofcookbooks?

If I cut back (on good HFLC) too much, initial weight loss is good but it soon stalls and hunger comes back to bite me too.

Doilooklikeatourist · 06/12/2018 19:46

Thanks for the positive thoughts and comments
@prettybird , I love cheese , and pork scratchings , it’s just I keep hearing low fat low fat in my head and choosing fruit as a healthy extra

@BIWI 😡that’s my guilty satsuma face !

Had a good day today , loving the homemade cauliflower rice , and not craving bread anymore

Couldn’t finish my dinner tonight , had chicken breast with HM cauli rice , carrots , sprouts , courgettes, mushrooms and a cream sauce ,

Having a glass of white 👍
Cheers everyone

Collectorofcookbooks · 06/12/2018 20:51

@wildheartsease it was 4 slices - off a homemade roast at the weekend! So a pretty substantial start to the day. Just troughed a fairly sizeable dinner too! Along with 3 glasses of water.

Need to keep my eye on what happens this weekend. Am doing winter fairs so no chance to leave the stall, surrounded by temptation- will be leaving the house early and not getting back til late - need to load up on lots of small nibbles. Ideas welcome!

starsky22 · 06/12/2018 22:35

Evening all! Had a good day, did have a case of the fuck-its this afternoon and was thinking about turkey sandwiches, but had a coffee and told myself to suck it up if I want to lose the 4lbs!

Had a lovely dinner, chicken bacon & sprouts bake with cream and cheese! Maybe too many sprouts though as my stomach is suffering!

collector the Heinz chicken soup stood out to me, it's low fat, low protein and low calorie, so not going to keep you full until dinner time, plus more carbs than you would think, 20g for a whole can! If it's the only option, then would at least add some cream to up the fat content. For snacks - cheese, cooked sausages/chicken, boiled eggs, celery sticks, pork scratchings?

LeapinLizards · 06/12/2018 23:27

@tootastic that's a brilliant approach. The mini goals are great, esp as they're mini enough/ short term enough thst it really makes a difference. That is, if I give in today, I won't fit into my dress next Friday.

Rshard · 07/12/2018 04:56

Well done for fighting the fuck its @starsky

Your dinner sounds lovely @doilooklikeatourist

After someone posted about dreaming about carbs, I had a dream about toast the other night!

starsky22 · 07/12/2018 09:20

I'm in Sainsbury's and I'm hungry, I don't want a freshly baked pain au chocolate from the bakery do I?Confused

prettybird · 07/12/2018 09:38

NO!!!!!!

But I trust that you will have stepped away already Wink

StuntNun · 07/12/2018 10:13

I discovered we were down to our last egg this morning so I fried some bacon and frozen celeriac in butter then chucked in the beaten egg to make a sort of low carb hash. Necessity is the mother of invention but it was rather yum.
