Welcome everyone. We have over 150 people signed up this time, so it's going to be pretty busy, and the initial chat thread is going to be very fast-moving!

Here is the Spreadsheet of Fabulousness for you to post your starting weight.

Remember, you don't have to input your actual weight if you don't want to - you can index it, which means starting at 100 and then for every pound you lose, you take off a point.

If your name isn't on the spreadsheet, don't panic! Just add your name to the bottom, and then the lovely @AthelstaneTheUnready will re-alphabetise the list.

If you're on the spreadsheet and you don't want to be, don't worry - just don't enter any info, and then you'll be deleted after the first couple of weeks.

Hi everyone, feels good to be back especially as I am at my heaviest since my pregnancy.
I ambannoyed with myself for letting things slide. This will be my 4th BC, managed to finish only one of them ( with amazing results) and also the maintenance was easy.
End of summer/ beginning of school year meant meant need for alcohol Blush so the weight quickly crept up.

Can’t wait to feel the amazing side effects of this WOE ( great sleep, zero bloat, lot of energy, no facial hair etc )

Good luck everyone!Flowers

NLisa · 15/10/2018 10:54

Good luck everyone.

I have put my weight in and I am ready to get started.

RosalieAlys · 15/10/2018 10:56

Hi, tried looking at the spreadsheet but I no longer have access ? Can someone please add me and my start weight of 147 please :)

AthelstaneTheUnready · 15/10/2018 11:03

Hi, Amp - you're on, and good luck - this diet is also massively anti-inflammatory, so as well as losing weight, there's a good chance you'll notice a bit of a difference in your joints as well.

Rosalie, I few people have just said this Confused - will add you and take a look to see what's happened.

AthelstaneTheUnready · 15/10/2018 11:05

Well, it looks as though lots of you are on it - if anyone else is having a problem, shout up.

tartantroosers · 15/10/2018 11:12

Good luck everyone!

WheelyCote · 15/10/2018 11:15

Athelstane and Biwi do we need to download something for the PC to see the speadsheet?
When im clicking on the link, its saying i need permission to download the google sheet. My google email is different to my mumsnet one, does that make a difference?

I love how how hustle and bustle the thread is. It feels like weve just set off from the starting line of something haha

WheelyCote · 15/10/2018 11:17

ah crossed posts with Rosie

WheelyCote · 15/10/2018 11:18

Oh and just to check...tinned coconut milk ok? on the side of the tin, it looks good to go! Thinking of making a cauliflower curry

OhCobblers · 15/10/2018 11:21

Please may I join?

I’m desperate to lose 2 stone - I’ve tried everything for the last 9 years but I’ve got to stick with this and lose it finally!!

I can’t add myself - would someone mind doing it with a starting weight if 161? Thank you!

Rshard · 15/10/2018 11:33

Welcome ohcobbler, I’ve added you to the bottom. Hope that was the right place athle, didn’t want to mess with it!

I’ve added my weigh, 144lbs which is 4lbs up from the end of last boot camp but onwards and downwards! I was 168lbs when I started boot camp this time last year. My goal is 133lbs so 11 to go.

Collectorofcookbooks · 15/10/2018 11:35

Morning all

Well, I am HORRIFIED by my weigh in. Never weighed so much except when I was pregnant. But I've been good and put the accurate amount on the spreadsheet, and it's given me a kick up my (considerable) backside. Got to do something as none of my clothes fit properly - now I know why!

2 boiled eggs for breakfast, a nice salad with asparagus, chicken and tomato for lunch, and a side helping of determination.

Already had 2 of my 4 bottles of water and only one cup of tea.

Mincingfuckdragon · 15/10/2018 11:43

I'm in, this is so great! I did Keto from July 17 to July 18 and lost 60 pounds. I've been lazy since then, haven't gained but haven't lost either. I have about another 42 pounds to go and want to lose 15 of those by Christmas. I did that year of Keto alone and I am so excited to have some companions for the next 10 weeks!

Tatiannatomasina · 15/10/2018 11:49

Hi all, after going it alone for 4 months its great to see so many fellow lchf ers. I recently found out I was pre diabetic which was a huge kick up the bum. Started in June at 73.8 and now 65.6, but lost my mojo a bit and looking forwards to seeing everyone smashing it out. Would love to reach 60kgs, but any loss would be good. Koko 😁

DisrespectfulAdultFemale · 15/10/2018 12:00

Hi all

The poster formerly known as TerfsUp here.

I started low-carbing in January this year and have gone from a size 18 to a 12 / 14. Hoping to make it to a solid 12 by 1 January 2019. Then the goal is a size 10 by June.

oldbirdy · 15/10/2018 12:43

Morning all. I was on last bootcamp and have carried on LCHF since but Summer has meant too much booze. I have also overdone nuts and have just discovered, whilst re-reading the rules, that my favourite cashews are actually very high carb - so I have been sabotaging myself and consider myself lucky not to have put all the weight back on - I am 7.5 lb up from end of bootcamp. Moral of the story - READ it all THOROUGHLY!
I am also deeply perimenopausal and struggling with mood - going for a thyroid check at the doctor soon too. Weight has over the last 3 years piled on and been very resistant indeed to coming off. Onwards and upwards.

abbey44 · 15/10/2018 13:03

Morning all, and thanks to BIWI and Athelstane. Good to see some familiar names on here again Smile

God, I really need this bootcamp - I was doing really well, maintaining the loss from the last one, and then, I don't know, everything just went tits up, and I'm back to where I was in April. But at least I know that it will work, so here goes...

prettybird · 15/10/2018 13:06

I've added my weight to the spreadsheet. Having fallen off the wagon in this last month Blush, it's up half a stone at 11 stone 11lb from where I'd got to at the end of the last Boot Camp Blush, but still down 2lb from where I'd got to in the last Christmas Boot Camp Smile and most importantly over 3 stone down from where I started 17 months ago SmileSmile.

I'm hoping that with the deviation being quite recent, most of the weight gain will be water/glycogen stores, so should come off quite quickly. I've already had half my water allocation for the day, have had some cold green balls of buttery delicousness brussels left over from last night (I always do extra but they usually end up getting eaten anyway on the night Wink) and some radishes spread with butter.

Dh is mostly joining me on Boot Camp, so won't be tempted by alcohol for the first 2 weeks Smile

I'd like to lose 17lb this Boot Camp to get back into the "10 stone and 1 digits" Wink - and more importantly, into a normal BMI Shock - but if I only break through the 11 stone barrier, I'll be happy. That would be a stone down on last Christmas Smile

StuntNun · 15/10/2018 13:25

Wheely the tinned coconut milk should be okay, make sure it's under 5g carbs per 100g. Different brands vary quite a lot and it's worth checking tinned coconut cream as well.

StuntNun · 15/10/2018 13:32

Welcome to everyone starting out on their first Low Carb Bootcamp, and welcome back to all that have been with us before. I started my first Bootcamp way back in June 2013 and achieved my goal weight in November that year. I have maintained a normal BMI ever since (apart from during one low carb pregnancy in 2015.) This way of eating really works - all you need to do is follow the Bootcamp rules.

Thing101 · 15/10/2018 13:49

Hello again! Last bootcamp was the only one I finished and I've done ok sticking to a version of it with a couple of major detours due to holidays and general disorganisation. Looking forward to getting stuck in! Good luck to all :)

BIWI · 15/10/2018 13:53

Good to see everyone! Welcome back/welcome (delete as applicable Smile)

One tip that is really helpful is to keep a diary of everything that you eat and drink each day. As well as making you accountable to yourself, it's also really useful if you hit a patch where you're not losing, or even gaining - you can go back to what you were doing when you were losing to check if you're doing anything different/wrong.

Tiredofit · 15/10/2018 14:42

Hi everyone. I have done bootcamp before but have only finished once. I’m determined to get off to a good start and keep going this time. Could someone please add my weight to the spreadsheet until I work out how to do it. 134lbs - painful. Thanks.

Peaches2018 · 15/10/2018 14:44

Thanks Tiredofit I forgot to ask if my weight could be added too (it's 209 poundsSadConfused) because my phone won't let me HmmThanks
